I was only able to drink 4 beers on this great way to spend the afternoon, plus got some fresh air at the same time. The meeting spot is right where National Av meets Water St. There is ample street parking there, also a lot by Boone and Crocketts. Each bike goes out for 2 hours, and you get to chose 3 taverns. You stay at about 1/2 hour at each one and then back on the bike you go. Our driver was Darryl and he was full of tips and suggestion. Very attentive and helpful. Darryl went out of his way to make sure er all had a good time We were also lucky to be hooked up with some visitors from Boston, who were here for Irish Fest We chose George's as our first stop to enjoy their pedal bike specials, Its always fun and his place is covered form Sports ad Military Memmoeibilla. Sometimes he even breakss out in song (not today) then we went to Mobccaft brewing. I'm sure we didn't enjoy It as much because there was a street fest going on and didn't get to sample our beer. Our last stop was Hamburger Mary's, but you don't get to see the full restaurant. that's saved for dining customers, and the pedal bike got to go through front bar, where all the arcade games were free. They were certainly having a good time. I also sew quite a few bridal showers and bachelor parties going for the ride There are about 25 little taverns you can go on the list so each tour would be a totally different trip. Make no mistake about it, you really have to pedal, there is no override but if you want to bing a family member that can't pedal for some reason like stroke. injury, cerebral palsy, etc. there are two chairs set up in the back for non-paddlers. You are also allowed 3 cans of beer per person on the bike. You can bring a small cooler FYI-NOT EVERYONE ENJOYS THE SAME KIND OF BAR ATMOSPHERE, AND ILL NOT GO IN WITH THE GROUP. YOU ARE FREE TO STAY ON THE IKE OND DRINK YOUR OWN BEER

I've been wanting to go on a pedal tavern forever and I'm so happy to say I was able to finally make it happen last night! Our group had the best time!! Brought our own beverages and snacks but also took advantage of some amazing specials at the four bars we stopped at along the way. The pedaling is a little bit of a workout but there are five seats where pedaling isn't required so you can swap seats if you get tired. Bring your own music (don't forget the adapter/usb cord) and pedal your party through the city. Check-in was fast, all of the staff was amazing and very conscious of the open container laws. If you haven't been on a pedal tavern yet, it's time to make it happen. This is a great social event from start to finish!

I had never done a drinking pedal tavern before and it was a lot of fun and perfect for a bachelorette party! Slightly terrifying after a few drinks but still a great time! Our driver pretty much let us take over. Music wise, drinking wise just letting us be super silly! The stops were okay but being on the tavern was where it's at. We had a cooler so honestly keep driving next time.

We rode with Kevin, our driver. During this two hour ride through Milwaukee, we visited two breweries and a food stop with seven local food trucks, all offering delicious options. You would think after almost two hours of manual peddling to move the bike, you'd be tired; the entertainment of the people with you and the music you can play through their speakers really takes your mind off of it! I would HIGHLY recommend doing this tour if you are new to the area, visiting Milwaukee, or just looking for a fun Friday!

The cart, or whatever you want to call it

This was my first peddle tavern experience and it was a blast. We went on the 10am tour, so it was early enough that none of our stops were terribly crowded because it was still a little bit early to be drinking. We had 9 people, while the cart holds probably 15. Peddling up the hills was a little bit of a challenge with only 9 (+ our driver), but with everyone peddling it worked out just fine. A few of the shorter girls (maybe 5'5" or so?) on our cart struggled a little bit to reach the peddles. I can't say with 100% certainty but, as far as I know, the seats were not adjustable. You can bring your own music, food, and beers (no glass) along on the cart to listen to, eat, and drink in between each stop. For food I would suggest cheese cubes, crackers, a bag of pretzels, a bag of nuts, and the like. You will be drinking and peddling and drinking and peddling.... Not a whole lot of time to be eating! As you cannot have open alcohol on the streets or sidewalks, you either have to finish your beers between stops, or leave them on the cart while inside each stop. We got the small 8oz cans of beer, and they were small enough to enjoy, while not being too large to finish. We made 5 stops- George's Pub, Zad's, Milwaukee Ale House, and Brenner's Brewing Co. The original plan did not include Milwaukee Ale House or Brenner's, but the Irish pub that we planned on going to was not open when we got there (even though their hours advertised that they were open). Milwaukee Ale House was probably my favorite. So many options! Each of these stops had specials just for the Peddle Tavern, which was really nice. This was a fun way to check out Milwaukee for someone who's never been here before. I don't know that this is something I would do again (it sounds like it's generally the same route each time) but the experience was most definitely worth it.

My 25th bday celebration on the Pedal Tavern- so much fun!

Hop on this multi-person bike system and get ready to do all of the following: 1. pedal like a madman- yes, this contraption is powered by the power of legs alone 2. drink while you pedal- it's BYOB with the exception of beverages in glass bottles 3. jam out- make sure someone has a good Pandora station and enough juice on their phone You stop at several bars on your tour where they provide you with pedal tavern specials- some are better than others. Overall it's a great time! It definitely made for a memorable bday celebration! Grab a few friends and get your drink on while you pedal!

OH. EM. GEE. The pedal tavern is a blast. Holy cow was it fun, I might even venture to say it was one of the most fun things I've done in Milwaukee. Myself and 6 friends went on a pedal tavern on a Thursday night as a part of celebrations before graduating, so it was very much a last hoorah in Milwaukee as a group and it was absolutely perfect. Working out AND drinking?! Say what?? A lot more difficult than I would have imagined but I probably should have known better. We got to blast our own music, our driver Candace was very cool, a good driver to have along for festivities, she also took us to some pretty rad spots including Evo (formerly Spin), Milwaukee Sail Loft (ah-mazing views and great photo ops), and George's (check the separate review for that spot-it's da bomb dot com). All of the stops were great, and we were at all bars just enough time to have a drink and make it back to the Steny's where we started in time. I actually cannot wait to do the pedal tavern again, who's game to go with me? Lets do it.

Pedal. Drink. Pedal. Drink. or Drink and Pedal. Drink and Pedal The option is yours. These non-motorized mobiles for you and 13 of your closest friends will propel you into two+ hours of great fun in Walker's Point and the Third Ward. Be your own DJ and be sure to have a playlist or two on someone's phone to connect to their system. Once you have your drinks and music let the trip commence. You can customize your trip within the suggestions of your Pedal Tavern Ambassador (who also operates the brake and steering wheel). Or you can sit back, pedal and let your guide lead you to some of the little known and well traveled spots in that area of town. What you choose your certain to have a great time!

Is there parking? Can we leave cars there overnight?

Yes, they share a lot with Boone and Crockett Bar and there is ample street parking as well. I don't know about the overnight
