Groupon wine flight with cheese and chocolate
    Jenilee C.

My husband bought the Groupon for his parents Christmas gift. We ended up using it in February and we were so glad we happened upon it. What a great little wine place. We came in the early afternoon on a Saturday and it was empty. That ended up being in our favor because we got a personalized experience. Paul set up our food and wine pairings. He's extremely knowledgeable, as well as sarcastic and fun. We chatted with him and once our pairings were done, we had him suggest different wines for each of us. Paul has a gift for listening and each of the four of us (despite having different tastes) thoroughly enjoyed our suggestions. My in-laws had a great Christmas present and we found a spot that we would gladly return to again. A great win all around!

We came here with the 2 person Groupon and really enjoyed everything! The wines were affordable but of good quality and were well paired with a small snack. We stayed for an additional glass afterward. The owner was the one who served us (we think) and was very polite and knowledgeable.

This is how dirty they keep there beer/wine coolers.

I stopped in on a Saturday night, i enjoy wine and have an enjoyment for wine. With that being said I was shocked at how little of a selection they have. They have a menu with some wines by the glass but no way of looking at what bottles they have with out getting up and looking at the wine on the wall. This place seems very cluttered and lost including the employees/owners. I hate going to places whose cooler or things at the bar are messy. (If they keep areas we see dirty who knows what the areas we don't see look like..) Over all we ordered some beer, wine and even bought a bottle to go. It sucks that they charge you $7 to open the bottle at the place. When we go out to a nice restaurant they never charge a corkage fee unless you bring in your own wine. Just seems odd, maybe they should start charging a bottle opening fee for the beers too? My last point is everyone we saw including us who had asked for a suggestion on what wine to get the employees always said the most expensive glass was the best wine. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's the best wine.

Crush Wine Bar, Waukesha WI. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Both have different business plans. Spring City offers a way for you to try, sample, taste and drink a wide variety of wines that changes frequently. It is more about learning more about wines from all over the world. Other places, you simply order the wine and then find out you don't like it but are forced to finish it because you just paid $X for it. Here you pay by the ounce. 1, 2 or 3 ounces. It is set up as wine on tap with Aerators. Get a card with your credit card linked to it, read about the wines and start tasting. 75 different wines and varying prices. If you like what you are tasting, they will sell you bottles. If you don't like wines, they have a full bar as well. They also have a limited appetizer menu and nights with live music. Just a great spot to unwind with your significant other or with a larger group. Plenty of parking around the corner or up the street a bit. Yes, downtown Waukesha can be difficult to drive and find parking but there really is plenty of parking. Cheers!

Their front patio is very welcoming and has plenty of seating. We opted for inside however, as it was a tad chilly during our visit. The inside is welcoming too though: rustic like bar area, big dining room, and an open kitchen. Shout out Scott for taking care of us- what and friendly guy, with attentive service. Not to mention he knew everything on that menu like the back of his hand. Big fan of both my gin martini, and my blackened grouper entree. And let me tell ya it was a tough pick because there are tons of delicious-sounding options here. But in the end, that grouper was perfect. It came atop of multigrain rice, roasted red peppers, spinach, black beans, and mushrooms. Plus the roasted red pepper cream sauce was chefs kiss. Everyone else at the table also cleared their plates: thin crust pizza, short ribs, and sea scallop risotto. Clearly you can't go wrong here. Definitely a bit on the pricey side in my opinion, but I suppose you do get what you pay for!

Omggg over the last 60+ years this couple both born and raised Wisconsinite have eaten our fair share of fish fries. This establishment has nailed it!!!!! The fish is lightly battered, the batter is not the same old recipe that the other establishments in S/E Wisconsin serve. The Cue Club has a secret recipe It has a little touch of Cajun seasonings. It is so amazingly delicious you don't need the tartar sauce to hide any imperfections. You will definitely enjoy eating this fish fry just as served. For those of you who might not have been here before or don't realize it is now under new ownership. There is plenty to do here besides eat and drink. Large TV monitors everywhere! Numerous pool tables, bocci ball courts, corn hole tournaments, poker tables certain nights, karaoke nights, darts, shuffle boards, plus large selection of live band nights.
