I like the variety of questions (although I will agree with one of the other reviewers that sometimes they are a little skewed towards stereotypical "male" categories like sports, video games, and action movies. We're still waiting for a picture round full of chick flicks!!). Regardless we love the low entry fee, and the quiz hints. It's a great chance to hang out with friends with no phone distractions and maybe even win some prizes! With the stay at home order we were immediately thinking about our weekly trivia habit but luckily Quizmaster came up clutch with 3x weekly virtual trivia including one themed quiz every Tuesday. We've been joining once a week and have even started virtually calling in a trivia team so we still get the social aspect as well. With so many teams the competition is tough but regardless of where we end we are just happy to have the distraction!

Quizmaster puts on bar trivia at a bunch of different places in town. What bars, you ask? Beat it,…read morepunk! Google that shit or go to their website, dingus! The format is 2 hours or so of 6 rounds of 5 questions each. Each round has a respective category. Teams can have up to 8 players. There are prizes for 1st and 2nd place, and also for Best Team Name of the Night. Usually bar tabs of $10-$30. Special prizes sometimes, like beer and bottles of booze. I recently participated in an 8-week league play series that included appearances of the queel (go to the website, ya mongoloid) and some serious competition that resulted in my team being the overall winner! Whoop. There was also a contest to see which team drank the most over the series. We just missed out on that one too. All I got was a gross hangover from the 6 snakebites or kamikazis I drank in 30 seconds in a last push to snatch victory from the jaws of YO MAMA, MUHFUGGA. This is a well organized, well run trivia night. Kevin the Quizmaster is a cool-ass dude and is your host at many of the participating venues, and I think he has a partner who does some as well. Quizmaster's website is great and becomes part of the game as that's where you get your weekly "quiz hint" in articles posted on the page devoted to your bar. They'll put a picture of you and your teammates' ugly mugs up there as well, provided you win or at least come up with a good name. That part makes it really fun. By "good name" I mean offensive, funny, or both. The winner of the best name contest is chosen by audience reaction, sometimes laughs, sometimes applause, and once in a while, disgusted groans. My team name almost got me in a fight once. No joke! That was when I played at Replay, which is a douche magnet. See Luke R's review for more info on that slop ditch. The trivia nights really depend on your venue, so pick a place you would go to anyway. My only (small) complaint is that I wish the questions were a bit harder, but I understand that Quizmaster needs to appeal to a broad audience. Unlike me, most folks aren't packing a staggeringly god-like knowledge base in their spectacularly wrinkled brain. Sometimes it's just too damn easy, so not quite 5 stars. If you own a bar and think you want some trivia drunks, give 'em a call! If you decide to go play, don't be a putz and use your cellphone to cheat, ya putz. Fun times, nerd! Go get 'em!

In my experience I have had a wonderful time taking part in in their trivia events. The trivia started off poorly with the host not even informing the room that the sign up was beginning. Once we actually got signed up, we still weren't given all of the necessary items to play the game, ie. the answer sheet booklet. The person running the trivia was not very good at what she was trying to do. Her skills as an orator were definitely below par. She also blamed the company whose software they were using for losing everyone's scores. We waited 10-15 minutes for her to re-score and add everyone's scores and names back into the software. We got two questions into the second half and she left the announcement area for a long period, maybe another 5-10 minutes. When she came back she said that she had bad news and the software had reset and lost all the information again. She then said she was going to call the game and didn't know what to do. How about adding everyone's scores into a spreadsheet, or word document, or a piece of paper? Her final answer was to half-heartedly apologize again and offer to read the questions and have everyone shout out the answers just for fun. Also, she decided to simply give the teams in first through third after half-time the prizes, but she had gotten our score wrong by 4 points. When she finished scoring the first half she said that we would go back at the end to correct any scoring errors. That never happened. When we went up to inquire, she said she didn't know what to do..... Unreal

It's a busy place, I get it but worth mentioning. They have a neat little seating area by a fireplace which is a good place to snag. There's also a side room that is good for groups and probably can be reserved. There's a nice outdoor patio too (closed in winter). Introduction including Milwaukee Sports:…read more Final of 3 reviews representing 3rd quarter of 2021 in scrapbook series is Brat House. In September 2021, I went on a Chicago/Milwaukee vacation. I attended 3 baseball games: White Sox, Cubs, & Brewers (in chronological order) on 3 consecutive days with my friend who joined me for the vacation. Of the 3 baseball games I went to my conclusion is Go Brewers! My favorite basketball team, Phoenix Suns, where I'm from before living in the DC area the past 15 years, lost to Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 championship, which was disappointing. But I was happy for the Bucks as they seemed to be a nice team and was glad it wasn't Lakers, Knicks, or Spurs. Speaking of the Bucks, Milwaukee Brat House is right by where the Bucks play in what they call the Deer District. Experience: My friend was a bit crazy. He wanted to go to a baseball game a 4th consecutive night for a 2nd time in a row for Brewers. As great of time as I had, I wanted to see other things in Milwaukee. So, I drove around the around seeing various things. Then, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner and gravitated to the deer district area. I walked along Doctor MLK Jr Drive, a nice corridor with various bars & restaurants. I settled on Milwaukee Brat House. I ate outside as it was pretty busy, was hungry and just wanted to eat. I ended up getting a bratwurst and cheese curds. I think they had BOGO beer as I had 2 beers (as pictured). Brat was great, but I stopped eating pork not long after; so I'd probably get a standard hot dog. The #1 selling point for me was getting cheese curds. When in Rome in Wisconsin, I wanted more cheese curds. They were awesome! The beer was great too; I purposefully picked some local beer company. The server was nice & helpful too.
