We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday party here, and it was an absolute hit! The team did an incredible job bringing the Blippi theme to life--I only had to send them a few inspiration pictures, and they took care of everything. It was such a relief to trust them with the decor and know it would turn out amazing. All we had to bring were the food, cake, and party favors (though they also offer packages that include those, which is a great option). The two party assistants were fantastic with the kids and kept them engaged with fun activities--painting was definitely the crowd favorite! The facility itself is spotless, with plenty of fun, engaging activities that are just the right size for little ones. It's not too big or overwhelming, which I really appreciate. My daughter also loves visiting Mima Create & Play for open play sessions, and the only downside is convincing her to leave when it's time to go. I can't recommend this place enough for parties or just a fun day out. It's such a gem! read more

So we called ahead during the week made sure they were going to be open. We traveled 45 minutes to get there. When we arrived walked in and they tell us there closing early bc of a birthday party. So was this a last minute party after we followed what they said to call and make sure there open and no parties and we show up and get told they have a party now and closed. Mina Create and Play is a unique spin on the kids indoor play spaces. There are lots of indoor play items including net swings, tumbling set ups, doll houses, etc. Mina adds the create element to th play space. There is a room for painting. The kids are given aprons and pallets of washable paint. They paint whatever they want on the wall. It's pretty liberating. Great birthday packages. The staff is well trained in entertaining minis. Super cute place to burn some energy for the little ones. You can climb, jump, paint and really get lost in all the nooks of the place with your little explorer. This is definitely one of, if not the best indoor play place I've ever taken my now 2 1/2 year daughter. I like this place for several reasons; the spacious room, the variety of toys, the cleanliness of the entire place, the set up, and the price. There's an art room plus a bigger full room that has so many things for the kids including a two sided rock climbing wall. There's also a huge blue foam section that always building of any kind. Next, is the phenomenal art room that's also quite big and has smocks, paints, brushes, pallets and a big sink to clean up. Huge Plus. This place is very CLEAN. I'm extremely big on cleanliness due to kids putting things in mouth or just overall with the upkeep. The bathrooms are clean and set up for toddlers and babies ( changing table). Upon arrival, you are supposed to remove your shoes and that's important for maintenance too. I'll be returning again because it's the best I've seen. read more

Not a bad place to bring your toddler to. Indoor gym with a bunch of creative tools. They have a lot of toys, things to play with and even a room dedicated to painting on the wall. Admission is a little more expensive than other places I've been to but it's def a place you should check out. Especially during the winter season when you can't take your kids outside. The owner is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The place is clean and has different areas for different activities. I def. recommend coming during the mornings- nice and quiet. This is my favorite play space ever. It's pricey - but no more than any other play space. But it's CLEAN. It's fun. It's good for my 19m old and my 4 year old. And I can sit down without constantly freaking out about my hyperactive toddler. They also have a fun room where the kids can paint on the wall with glow in the dark paint. My 1 year old son loves this play place. There are so many fun toys to ride one, climb on and pretend play with. It's a very large space so kids are not crowded around each other and the toYs really range in age interest level. While my son is playing I've seen 6 year olds having a blast as well. The rooms are very clean and well cared for which is not always typical at kids play places. I brought my 4yr old and 2 month old here last week. The place is clean and each area has their own theme (e.g. zoo, climbing wall, painting room, swings/ladders, magnetic building, etc.). It was $14 and change for open play with no cap on the amount of time you could spend there. My son played for about an hour. It was quiet when we went (we arrived early when they opened). It is a small space so I am glad it wasn't busy when we went. I thought it was average and while nothing was wrong or alarming, nothing was especially a WOW either. My son enjoyed playing in the tiny zoo the most along with swinging in one of the suspended swings. I tried to get him to go on the climbing wall but he wasn't having it. It was a nice change of scenery and if you're in the area, it's a cute spot to drop in on. read more

This was a great indoor playroom for our son. There a paint room where u can pain on the walls, trains, swings, climbing wall, kitchen... Many things to keep a toddler busy. The small concession is stocked with juice box and yoo-hoo. It's a meager $15 for all day play! The owneroves the station's around to keep it interesting and there's plenty of space for parents to relax and watch their kids play. We went on a weekday twice. Update 2/7/17. After filing a dispute with the credit card company, and leaving a 1-star review, I received a call from the owner stating that I would be reimbursed for the $100. I have since received the refund and in turn, am changing my review to 4 stars. I am glad to see MiMa handle the situation as it should be. -- We were originally very excited to have our daughter's second birthday party at MiMa create and play. However, their bait and switch tactic totally lost our faith in the business. Now we will no longer take our daughter there, nor recommend it to others. A similar business opened closer to us, in Morganville, and they are up front with their policies and prices. So we plan on having our daughter's third birthday party there. Here is what happened. We placed a $100 deposit months before the party. As we worked on the details of the party, on our side, we wondered when MC&P would reach out to us to finalize things. So two weeks before the party I called, and the person who picked up wrote down our color scheme. She then said the owner would call the next day with questions. That never happened. A week later we called again and was told that someone would be calling to finalize everything the Thursday before the party (which was that Saturday). That Wednesday we received a call. That is when we were told that if we wanted the party to be private that it's an extra $100. Mind you, we are paying $450 plus tax for the party and was never informed of this extra charge. We already had invitations sent out, and the chance of the date being available at the new place in Morganville was slim. So we had no choice but to pay $100. Who offers a party package and not make it private? That makes no sense! Also, the package we paid for came with printed invitations, but we were never offered them. The party itself was ok, and the staff was nice. However, they did not do a good job getting the kids involved with the games. And 2 of the three games they played were for older kids when the majority of the kids at the party were under the age of 5. As I said earlier, I wouldn't recommend MC&P for parties, and now I wouldn't recommend it just for open play. Why? Because they didn't notify anyone via their website that open play was closed for a private party. They only posted it on Facebook. So they wound up kicking people out and turning people away. And they didn't offer discounted open play for those who stayed for the hour before the party. That's bad business. read more

It was a very nice concept and we were excited to have my niece and nephews birthday party there. The customer service that we received was less than standard. One lady in the yellow shirt was very rude. And they had the nerve to post pictures of our event on their Facebook page. Making people think that this is the quality of the work that they do don't be fooled. It isn't. Everything that you see on those Facebook pictures were done by us and they kept the balloon arch to use for their benefit. They claimed they were going to burst the balloons but they burst out certain colors then used it for their next event. I never felt so rushed in my entire life. Mima is a great place! I didn't have a bday party there but I had a play date with several of my family members and friends the kids had a blast! It's cozy and fun and the price is very reasonable. I don't recommend kids older than 8 as it might not be stimulating enough for them but it's great for 1-8 year old we'll be coming back! read more

We had my son's 5th birthay party at MiMa. He had an awesome time. We invited kids ranging from1 to 9 years old. Everyone found lots of fun activities. My 3 year old son loved especially the painting room where he could paint on walls with vibrant colors and create his art. All the kids played at various stations with each other and exercised their creativity. I would recommend this place to every child and parent who want to have a little fun and try new types of activities. It is also a great place to invite school friends. read more

Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we really love the play space, but the 11$ for 14$ deal is not beneficial for families with more than 1 child. When you use the voucher you pay full price 14$ for the second child, so your trip turns out being 25$ for 2 kids with the voucher when it could have been 22$ if I had never used it. read more

Excellent place. Tons to do, very clean and safe for children of all ages permitted. First time visitor and we'll def be back. It has a wide range of activities to keep your child busy for several hours. After play time there is a room dedicated to painting which is super cute. Overall atmosphere is energetic but relaxing for adult as I could watch my child play but yet feel comfortable with her roaming around -- The place itself is not huge but it's perfect in size for most everyone that was there - When we went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a party going on but it did not impact us on playing. My 3 year old and 1 year old enjoyed playing here a few times so I decided to have my daughter's 3rd birthday party here. Big mistake! I don't mind spending money, but my husband and I left the birthday party feeling totally ripped off! We paid $540 and nothing was done to point out that my daughter was the birthday girl like they do at Little Gyms or other party places. The was no interaction from staff with children. The face painting which was additional $60 was average at best. I offered to pay the bill prior to the party starting and was told to wait until the end, which was fine. Yet, as I was enjoying the party with family and friends, the staff approached me to talk about money. My one year old was hurt by one of the swings and I was still charged full price for him. Just bad business. Then, what upset me the most was that I paid $100 extra to make the party private, which I thought meant private the entire hour and a half. Well, that meant until we went into the party room which I was not told about. I had all my daughter's presents and all my guests' purses out in the open and strangers were walking right passed it all. I have no idea what the $100 was for because that is not a private party if strangers are playing while we ate. Also, if the public is paying about $17 for their child to play unlimited time and I paid about double that so I asked if a few kids from party could play after the party and I was told no unless I gave them even more money. It was not worth the price for 45minutes. I just assumed we could stay if we wanted to since the fee is always unlimited play time. My daughter received a free play pass which I won't even bother using since they'll charge me full price for my one year old who usually is discounted as a sibling. I was very upset by how I felt nickeled and dimed. I never felt like this at other party places. I recommend this place to play at on a rainy day but def. not for a birthday party. There's just way too many other places to go to for a party, cheaper or for the same price better treatment. I won't be returning even for open play. read more

We brought our 16 mo. old twins to MiMa for the first time and they seemed to really enjoy it! I love how spacious and safe the place is.
