I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel I need to share what happened. I had been a loyal client here for 5 years, also referring a lot of people here and truly believed I was more than just another appointment. That's why this experience was so upsetting. My normal technician was sick, and I was put with another technician. I was told that would be able to provide the service I had originally planned for. When I politely expressed that I wasn't happy with how my nails turned out and asked for them to be corrected, the situation immediately became uncomfortable. My hand was handled roughly during the process, and instead of being met with understanding, I was made to feel like I was the problem for simply wanting the service done properly. I left feeling blamed and dismissed rather than helped. I was then left sitting for over 30 minutes with no communication while other clients were taken, unsure of what was happening next and increasingly embarrassed in a public setting. Throughout the interaction, I felt gaslit -- as though my concerns were unreasonable -- even though I remained calm and respectful the entire time. The appointment ultimately lasted over 3 1/2 hours, causing me to miss work and reschedule my own clients. Even after the nails were redone, I still did not like the final result, yet expressing that only seemed to create more tension rather than a genuine effort to resolve the issue. What hurt the most was being made to feel at fault for advocating for myself. As someone who also works in a service industry, I understand mistakes happen, but clients should never feel intimidated, blamed, or emotionally uncomfortable for speaking up about a service they paid for. This experience ended what had been a long-standing client relationship. I hope this feedback encourages better communication, professionalism, and care for future clients so no one else leaves feeling the way I did. read more

I had a Shellac mani done on 5/15 before flying out on vacation on 5/18. I don't remember her name, but the lady that has the front desk rushed through my mani and didn't take time to let my nails cured in between coats. My husband was surprised I was back quick from my appointment. As a result, my nails polish starts lifting and peeling by day 6. I tried to document the picture showing the left hand in the left column and the right hand in the right column. It's hard to see in the day 6 pictures where it's lifting but you can see the time elapsed photos showing a lot of chipping as a result. I think I found my new favorite nail salon that is close to where I live. I went here for the first time tonight with a friend and they did a great job. I got the basic pedicure and did a $12 add on for paraffin wax and my feet feel so soft. I also got dip with a tip and they shaped them to perfection. There were a couple minor issues but I still think I will be back again. We did have an appointment and part way through my nail removal, my tech told me she had another appointment and someone else would be helping me - and that took a long time. Luckily I was getting a pedicure so I wasn't just sitting there without service. I don't think my nails came out perfectly, but much better than I could ever do myself. Overall Mimosa Nails did a wonderful job. All the women were friendly and they serve complimentary mimosas and water. I came here because I wanted a simple design (flowers) and just a clean mani/pedi. I am pretty picky on where I go, but since I'm only visiting I decided to go with this salon. It was $98 for a gel mani and gel pedi. pedi- I got the basic pedi and I felt like it was rushed. She left me with all of the color choices even when I was done looking, so I had to juggle that while she was doing my pedi. Towards the end, she cut one of my toes. It really hurt but it didn't bleed at the time so I didn't care for it. I went home and noticed that my toe had a big blood stain on it from the cut. very rough. Mani- the mani was fine. Every time she would apply the color, she would accidentally bump into another finger of mine and wipe that off. The job wasn't clean and there were definitely smudges around the edges. I found a couple of hang nails around my finger when I got home. My flower on my thumb was off center and it didn't look like the picture I showed her. I wanted the flower to be all together instead of the petals spaced out. I was not impressed. I wouldn't come back when I visit Denver again. read more

So I've given this place a try twice and I can surely say, this is the place to go get your nails done!! My first visit was a couple weeks ago and I called to ask if I could get a dip w/ tip set. The lady on the phone told me I could be seen right away so to come on in. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by a lady who sat me with my nail tech Mai. I had a specific nail art design (flame set) which she told me they could do. Right away, Mai was great in her technique. She's gentle yet precise and you can tell she's been doing nails for quite awhile. She provided nice conversation and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. When it came to the nail art, a gentleman jumped in to complete it. I think it was because it was close to closing time and he is the quickest with nail art. Regardless, he is extremely talented and fast with the nail art and I was really impressed. After my set was completed, I checked out and was incredibly happy with my nails! They are exactly what I asked for and for a reasonable price! My second visit I came in this week for a set of dip and tips with a specific design (French 3d art) and same as before was able to be seen right away upon walking in. (Mind you, before this the first time I came was over a month ago and my nails were still on!!) My first nail tech I started with was a sweet lady, unfortunately can not remember her name. However, she removed my dip and started the process of my manicure. She had a return client walk in and so I was moved over to another tech named Thi. Thi was amazing!!! She was extremely precise with the prep and application of the dip with tips. Once it came to nail art, she told me she couldn't get it to be as 3d effect like the image I showed, by my nails came out exactly how I wanted! She is so even with the French dip! I was offered a water in between my appointment which is a plus in customer service. This place is sort of tucked away but definitely worth a visit. I asked for them to remove the old acrylic nails I had, and for a new set. She looked at my nails, commented on the fact that they were natural and long , and then proceeded to cut them off as soon as I sat down. She did not ask ​me if I wanted tips, she did not ask me if I wanted them shorter, she just completely cut my nails off. I'm devastated. To me, this is the same as going to a hair salon with waist- length hair, discussing the color, and then getting a bob without discussing the cut. I came here to feel better. I came into the shop as ultimately, respectful, as I possibly could have come in. Before I called I asked very specifically for a technician who has been doing this for a long time and could understand the things I was asking for because I am very particular. It took 20 minutes for me to get to the shop. From there, I went to a girls desk, who seemed very willing to hear me out about what I want. Mind you I was being extremely respectful this entire time and I even communicated that I myself was very nervous. I showed reference pictures and I described my nails so she could understand and then she passes me to another girl who couldn't understand me so I felt like there was a bigger language barrier after I was passed to the other girl. Then I start describing again what I was looking for, and she stops me in the middle of my describing and goes to get the manager,or whoever he is, and he comes over and tells me that nobody will be doing my nails because I overwhelmed them. If your girls are getting so overwhelmed by someone who clearly knows what they want and is willing to communicate that then you as a salon have a problem. Now I'm even more overwhelmed myself and he could've told me no from the start so I didn't waste my own time and gas driving there. read more

Well, I didn't get Amy when I arrived (on time) it was someone else. The person I got did an ok job, but was a little rough and it seemed like she wasn't really paying attention closely to what she was doing. I got regular polish and she didn't paint all the way to my cuticle line on the 2nd and 3rd coat which makes it look like a weird wave bubble thing.
