I have only been here once but I had a great experience. Going to nail spots is so subjective because I honestly NEVER see any with five stars or really high ratings for that matter. So I have now made it my mission to make sure I leave a star rating for any nail place I visit. I cam where after a brunch at snooze. It is right next door and is the perfect place to rest your head after a boozy brunch. Literally - rest your head. They have recliners that you sit in for your manicure. You can just sink into the pillowy leather and they will go to work on trimming those cuticles. They were super friendly and even finish your service off with a little shoulder massage at the air dryer. They asked if it was our first time in and gave us a discount coupon for our next visit. They were clean, accommodating, friendly, and did a wonderful job on my nails. We will definitely be coming back to try out their pedicures! read more

Others have shared this but Ivy Nails is now *Rubi Nails*. I decided to stop in on a whim while running errands and Rubi Nails did not disappoint. Jack was my nail tech and he was quick and friendly (but didn't chat much so I could sit back in the recliner chair and really, REALLY relax). I got a dip manicure and while they didn't have as many color choices as other salons, they had what I was looking for so I was happy. He was gentle, quick and my nails look great. He finished with a hot stone and lotion massage on my hands and forearms, followed by a relaxing hot towel wrap and short shoulder massage. I mean, what?! The extra mile! I've never been to a salon where this is included. Even high end, much more expensive places than this. Regarding cost - others have mentioned they felt Rubi was more costly than other places they've been. I disagree and think it's right on par. I even felt compelled to tip more than usual because of the excellent service. This may be my new regular nail spot. read more

This is the absolute best nail salon I have been to in the area. A previous salon destroyed my nails... I went here and problems fixed. No more ingrown finger nails, no more hang nails, a gel manicure that is beautiful and lasts for weeks... and the staff is so friendly. I just love it here. Had a very poor manicure from here. Took two hours, shape was unrecognizable, the polish was bumpy and dull, and six fingers were bleeding. Requested a refund and was nastily told by the owner that he would fix the problem and if the fingers got infected from the open wounds they caused, he would pay the doctor bills. Not comfortable with this solution. Was also told we were pissing him off. Ultimately he refunded the money after, if not being yelled at, certainly being talked loudly to in front of several customers getting their nails done. Not the only one to have a problem here. The owner had to comp another customer her manicure cost the same day because he stained her fingers blue from the dip powder that wouldn't come off. I absolutely understand things going wrong in the service business. How a business owner handles the error is key to my return or not. The owner of this business was just a bully in this case and I won't give him my hard earned money. read more

I wish I could remember the gentleman who always does my pedis because he is amazing!!! So relaxing and does an amazing job on my nails. It is 33 for a plain pedi which is still a great pedi with a massage and hot rocks, towel, etc. there are quite a few additional pedis that I haven't tried yet, but definitely will! read more

Best mani/pedi I've EVER had! Very clean, wonderful results, exceptional service, friendly staff, comfortable setting, great location and parking, and normal prices ($35 pedi & $35 shellac mani). I kept thinking.... "They're going above and beyond.... are the accidentally giving me one of the deluxe packages?" Ha! They were actually just giving me their version of a normal mani/pedi which was above and beyond from any other salon I've ever been to. Listen here y'all! Not many salons were open and I chose this one because it was close and easy. I am a die hard Dip Nails fan! When my friend and I walked it it was busy. We had called ahead and made an appointment so that we could have a spot. We waited a whole 15 minutes until we were actually taken care of! I told the lady I liked my dip nails thick, because they last longer. It has been 24 hours and my manicure is already ruined! Dip usually lasts me 2-3 weeks! I payed 50+ tip for a half ass job! The store is clean, has comfy massage chairs to get your nails done whether it's manicures (instead of tables they have recliner chairs!) or pedicures, and they use new tools out of individual bags (very sanitary) for each new customer. Jennifer did my pedicure and she was great. She paid attention to all the details and did my French tip very well with no complaints on my end as I'm very picky. It normally takes a long time through trial and error to find a good nail place, so I'll be going here regularly now :) read more

I've been looking for a place in this area and found Ivy Nails. The atmosphere was nice. The people were pleasant and more importantly, they were kind. My manicure looks pretty good - not quite as shiny as I like but it was ok. The color coats went on a little rough but the final clear coat was a little better. The color is great. I went with another person and her manicure is perfect and very shiny. With mine it almost seemed like she was either trying to save nail polish or apply a very thin coat to avoid bubbles (which I understand). Either way, it ended being ok when the final clear coat was applied. It matters more to me that the people were to us, but next time I might ask for the person who did the "very shiny" nail job. :o) My manicure was $17, french manicure was $27. Also, very comfortable chairs and nice massage. read more

Just not good I was being swapped off to so many nail techs. I had an appt and they weren't that busy. By the time I was done I had 4 people working on my nails between the mani / pedi. I got an SNS/ 'powder' manicure and it had ridges snagged on everything and started chipping off. Normally this type of manicure would last nearly a month. read more

Horrible horrible experience!! BE AWARE!! They do not use acrylic at this salon. They dip your nails in powder and spray with alcohol!! The owner did my nails and cut my finger open. Never shaped my nails. A rebase and pedicure was $130!!!! He was super disrespectful stating it was my fault and just didn't like the price. He should definitely not be a business owner and should definitely NOT BE DOING NAILS!! My nails were lopsided, different sizes and were lumpy. Overall a complete disaster for the price. I think the true test of any salon is how long the pedicure lasts, and that is to be determined. I hope this one lasts a good long time because $35 is quite a bit more than I usually pay, but, I will say that the service was a notch above the usual. First, shout out to the technician for not wearing gloves -- especially during the leg and foot massage. Yes, I understand that touching the feet of strangers can be cringe-worthy, but those feet are in really hot water, and a gloves-on massage is kind of patronizing in a way. Also, there is a nice selection of colors, chairs are nice and new, and the technician took her time. There is a hot stone component to the "classic" pedicure, which was quite nice, and the massage portion -- which really is the best part -- was longer than most. There was even a shoulder rub at the drying table. I have to say that I wish the pedicure was closer to $25 (cause I've paid $20 for some damn good ones) or $35 with a glass of wine....but for today, Ivy Nails was the right place at the right time, and it was nice to relax for a while (even if it was with a bad selection of magazines). read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I developed a very painful infection in my big toe (where the cuticle is) a week after I had a pedicure here. It has been two months and I'm still having problems. I've been seen by a doctor and they've prescribed antibiotics but I still have an infection. I've had many pedicures and this is the first time this has happened. I will not go back. read more

Stumbled across this salon and loved it! Small and catered to the customer. Expect to spend some time here, because they take the time to do things right. The salon is clean and relaxing. I like the leather recliners for the manicure. And the pedicure chairs are nice too. The lady is very nice. However, I think they are a little less experience. When painting my toes and finger nails, she kept getting polish on my skin. And she had to keep wiping it off with her fingernail. They used clean tools and the salon was spotless. No wait either!
