I live in Alaska but found this place while visiting my parents and now it's my mom and my go to for nails in Brookfield. The staff is wonderful and does a top notch job. The SNS dip nails are always done efficiently and quickly but they always are done to the highest quality. Perfectly smoothed down. Not too thick, and they last really long and they will all be even. I feel saddened by the fact that I have to change my first review so drastically, but I won't be going back here ever again. I don't know if they went under new ownership but cleanliness has gone down the drain here. They no longer use the autoclave, and they most definitely don't sanitize the nail filing drill bits between clients. So. Disgusting. I took a break for a while getting my nails done and so when I got back into it, I started dip. The way that they do it, it's super thick and lumpy. But this past set, three nails broke. I went back and had all three fixed and the next day two of the three nails broke again! I was also disappointed because when I went the first time to get them fixed, they cut my cuticle pretty bad. Do not go to this nail salon warning the person that did my nail she was a lady and she cut me several times and I even said ouch and she didn't even really say anything and I don't think she even sanitizes her drill or any nail equipment that she uses so I'm thinking I'm going to have to call the health department in to do an inspection of this company I sure hope I'm going to be OK because I got cut several times on my nails she didn't even acknowledge it, and put any safety precaution on my cut and did not use sanitized equipment. Let's start with the positives, their massage chairs are absolutely wonderful all the features work. She cut me on my manicure. She was annoyed that the buffing is not working. She has to tried to get away with only play applying one coat of nail polish on my toes. She kept telling me that I was done with my manicure even though I was clearly not ready to walk out. Declined the offer for a shellac mani. ** Vibe; The "technician" was cold, bossy, and overall non-engaged. I washed my hands and had the NERVE to carry the rag that I was drying my hands with back to the table. He scolded me for not dropping it in the basket by the sink! I explained that I was drying as I walked and it was the same rags used at the table! He scoffed! **Quality; My nails were not dry yet when he dismissed me "you're good now" and requested payment. One of my nails got smudged getting my wallet out, and when I showed him he responded; "you're fine". Seriously? I made the choice to not insist he fix it, I was DONE in this place! I am new to Broomfield, and I found this shop to be amazing. Everything was very clean, and the staff members wore masks. I had a basic mani/pedi and it was so luxurious that I thought it was deluxe. My nails are all beautiful now. Additionally, I am a disabled person, and I need a mobility support device ( I use a Rolator walker). Sadly, and at no fault to the business owners, the parking lot (no handicapped parking) is awful, no sidewalk ramps. But once I got into Broomfield nails, everyone was helpful and respectful. I have been getting my nails done here for years! It's a family owned business in a great location. I have had a handful of different Nail Techs, all of which were kind and knowledgeable about their craft. It amazes me that almost every time I visit there is someone being rude or condescending to the people who work here. We are all human and absolutely deserve respect. And furthermore if you choose to not sit still or play on your phone the entire time, and end up with a scratch or cut, you are part too the problem. I advise right off the bat that you save your money and time, and go somewhere else. To begin, $14 is steep for a regular manicure. It is especially steep for the manicure I received. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and chose an OPI nude for an event on Thursday, knowing that my week was going to busy to go any closer to the event. By Tuesday (2 days later), I could see the color chilling around the base coat, in an unpleasant, ugly way. On Wednesday I came in to ask for a refund for, to be blunt, the bad manicure I received. I am not very good at doing my own nails, but I could have and would have done a better job had I saved my money and done it myself at home. The owner said he would give me back $4 for the color but because it wasn't a shellac manicure there is no satisfaction guarantee. Even though it is a poor business practice not to stand by the quality of all of your goods or services (essentially saying "we don't care about our clients who don't pay top dollar"), I agreed to the cost of the color, asking for the tip back that I paid. Had I known the quality of the manicure, and that it would look so trashy so soon, I would not have tipped (as I'm already paying more than it is worth for a regular manicure). The owner intially refused and argued that if he guaranteed regular manicures he would have no money and have to close the shop. Again, an assertion that they do not care about you if you don't want shellac. I argued that he should stand by the quality of the services they offer, and he didn't seem to want to. He finally agreed and refunded the amount of the tip and the color, but I still essentially just flushed $10 down the toilet. Have gotten far better manicures for less and I will not be returning here. read more

No, no and no. I debated between one and two stars at first. The place is clean and manicure lasted for 3 days which is longer than most. Only positive things I can say. I saw Kim, and never again. My pedicure is crap - honestly, I have gotten better ones at a beauty school. Horrible nail clean up, barely any heel work, two nails cut at 45 degrees - clearly VERY crooked!, and in some cases only half the nails got a full polish (one coat, then not another one and no top coat). Sloppy, careless work. She rushed through the manicure and, again, no cutting of cuticles, no exfoliation - nothing. Three nails also cut/filed crookedly. The longest time she spent on any one task was holding her hand out for a tip and excelled at that. She then disappeared and, because she refused to paint my nails with my flip flops on, I had to struggle to pull off the toe seperators and flimsy flops from them and put mine on without destroying my nails. She made a point of saying I should get shellac since there was no "warranty" on regular polish. I got my pedi for a vacation - it has not even lasted two days. I've been going here for a few months and the last two times I've gone, I've gotten the worst service. I went before thanksgiving and the owner, Mary, was working on me and a long time client walked in so she rushed through and my nails were so uneven in length and thickness they had bumps and dips. She didn't even tell me to have a nice day, she was too busy with the other client. Then I went the day after Christmas, first there was one person working and the owners husband was there, he was very rude. He was very pushy about me getting a pedicure, I said maybe after I get my nails done and he said no you get pedicure now. So I said no I'm not going to get one at all. I wanted a new set and he was trying to take them off, he's not a beautician at all and he really hurt my fingers so I said I'll just wait for the one person doing nails to take them off then he started putting acetone on cotton balls and got out foil and I said oh I don't want to put that on my fingers because my skin is sensitive and he didn't listen grabbed my hands and put the foil on them. Then Mary comes back and starts doing my nails she was not talkative, very rude and she said yeah you interrupted my Christmas dinner. So of course she rushed through my nails again, she didn't take all of my last set off, she cut me three times and she didn't even finish them. I had to wait for the other woman Anna to finish them. You could see parts of my last set because I had red and gold nails. I asked Anna how much it would be for colored acrylic powder and she said $35 so then when she finishing my nails she said she would give me a discount because they cut me so much and since I waited so long. She said it would be $35... So they didn't actually give me a discount. She said it was a discount because they were using a new kind of pink and white powder. I didn't ask for pink and white powder! And my nails are clear!! Not pink!!! She asked me if I liked them when she was done, I said no, you can see some of my other set, they're uneven and the tips don't look great and she said oh sorry... She didn't do anything about it. Then my friend wanted to get a pedicure so I decided to get one, my friend started before me and mine was done before her. Anna didn't do half the stuff the other girl was doing to my friend and we should have gotten the same pedicure, I also paid more than my friend. So it took almost 3 hours to get my nails and a pedicure done... Three days later my nails started to lift. I've been getting my nails done for 8 years and I've never had them lift three days later. So I went back a week later to have them fix them because my nails were almost off at that point and Mary tried to charge me $25 to fix them. I told her no I'm not paying for you to fix what should have been done right in the first place and she didn't charge me... She wasn't carful at all, she cut me a few more times. She blamed me and said its because you have very thin cuticles. Ive never been cut like that, most places are careful. And every once in a while I'll get cut. She obviously didn't care and was just rushing through again. They still look bad but they look better. So I appreciate her fixing them but I wanted a new set, she gave me a rebase so you can still see where she didn't take my nails off from before. I will not be going back.
