I am incredibly disappointed in my first and last experience here. I brought my 9 year old and we both got gel pedis. Usually, I am vigilant about making sure they don't cut her cuticles... well I dropped my guard and the nail tech must have dug into her big toenails to dig out an ingrown or a hangnail. One day later and both of her big toenails are red and starting to show signs of an infection. Honestly, I'm furious and will be reporting this salon. These individuals are not licensed to dig into toenails and perform " surgery" procedures. Update- we took my daughter to urgent care where she was prescribed antibiotic ointment and oral antibiotics for the infection. I will be contacting the board to report. read more

I've been wanting to try this nail spa since they put the sign up on the building. I finally got a chance to, yesterday. It was a Sunday and I love that Sundays are now an option. I decided to go on a whim so I had no appointment. I walked right in and was greeted immediately. They have a kiosk to collect your name and number to start you on their rewards program. Upon entering it feels like luxury. I wasn't worried about prices because they are nicely published on their website. The space is clean, modern, and calming. After explaining that I wanted a pedicure to the person that greeted me, I was invited to the pedicure bowl immediately and given a service menu that also had the complementary drink options. I selected my service and was then given the nail color options. I opted for the $48 Tropical Sunset Pedicure. It contains vitamin c, copper, and foot mask. They promote healthy skin by adding collagen production and tissue repair. Overall the service was relaxing, but not a lot of time was spent on my troubled callused spots on my feet. That seems to be the trend with a lot of nail spa that I visit these days. Man I miss the cheese grater!! My gel polish removal and addition plus the pedicure brought my service to $68. My only complaint besides focusing on the calluses was that they out their red wine in the refrigerator and serve it cold. BIG No No! Overall, a pretty good experience. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a review so I can tell you that I will NEVER go back again! I am a regular at this nail salon I called to make an appointment with Mimi she was not there so they gave me someone else who was supposed to be just as good. He passed me off to the same lady who did my toes a few weeks ago. I've NEVER been charged more than 50-60 dollars for a pedicure and gel polish I walked out paying 30 dollars extra to remove the thick acrylic from my big toe that looked horrible that was done previously by the same exact older lady, she insisted that she did not do it 3 weeks ago and I can promise it was absolutely her who did! I brought my own gel polish and still walked out paying $75 dollars for a a basic pedicure with gel polish. NEVER AGAIN!! 1 week and both big toe nails are broken and cracked as and who shapes nails one side curved and one side squared!?? read more

Today was my first time getting my nails done at Mimosas. I booked a full set with Tina. I showed Tina a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and she NAILED IT! (Pun intended) Tina is very personable! Throughout the appointment she kept asking if I liked my nails. (Which I love) I also got a "Forever Beautiful" pedicure as well with Annie. Annie was fabulous. She kept making sure I was comfortable during the pedicure. Bonus that it's beautiful inside!! My new favorite nail salon!! read more

I come here often to have my builder gel done by Amy. well today she wasn't there and they gave me to an incompetent worker who didn't know how to apply the builder gel. he did not put any bond on my nails at all and when I brought it up they simply switched me to another worker. I told them I wanted the builder taken off my nails and I didn't want the service anymore but they insisted that they fix it with a different tech. Harry did his best to fix it but I was not pleased because now my nails had been over drilled after telling the lady who switched me I didn't want my nails to be drilled again because the first guy already did it. well they still charged me full price and no one seemed to care that my nails were ruined. The vibe in that place was totally off and my service was rushed. Harry had much better customer service than the rest and I live the way Amy does my nails and take her time but unfortunately after today service I do not think I'll be returning in the future. This was my first visit to this salon. I requested a pedicure. I was not offered a beverage like everyone else was. The technician did not wear gloves. They advertise a hot stone foot massage with every pedicure. It was evident he wasn't going to do it so I had to ask for it. The pedicure menu does not specify which services are included. My "callus treatment" was just a loofah scrub. The bottle of polish I chose was outdated and separated, so I chose another color. The technician dumped me quickly when he was done to hang out with other employees. No check in to see if my nails were dry. This was my first and last visit here. read more

I would not recommend getting your nails done at Mimosa's Nail Spa. I made an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done together. When we arrived, there were maybe three people getting services done. One gentleman was sitting in the back corner on one of the pedicure chairs just hanging out. It was obviously a very slow day. There were at least 20 pedicure chairs, as well as manicure stations. We were told to go to completely separate aisles for our manicures. We asked to sit together as we had appointments together. They accommodated us with a bit of unease in their voice upon sitting down to get my acrylic nails done. I asked for a special design on my nails. I did ask the price point for this service. The gentleman stared at the picture for a long time silent. I asked is this not something that can be done? I do understand there was a language barrier, but he gave no indication as to whether he could do this and seemed a bit of perturbed that I would even ask. Another gal came over to help us with the language barrier. When I asked how much the special design would be she huffed and puffed and acted as if it was annoying to be asked to this information. This situation continued for a few minutes. I ended up feeling so uncomfortable that I just said I'll get gel and I don't need to have acrylic or any design. The gentleman did my nails with and while trimming my cuticles clipped the corner of my thumbnail and made it bleed while I understand these things happen. This was the second time I had said ouch upon him trimming my cuticles. He apologized. The the nails themselves look pretty decent. I am happy with the overall painting of my nails. But when your skin is clipped and your finger is bleeding and then you're charged full price for a service that didn't go well that is very poor Customer Service in my opinion. Not to mention the whole debacle of asking for price points by the time I decided to just get a gel the woman repeated over and over it's $42. It's $42. Is that OK with you? She was exasperated by my questioning price points. I found this to be extremely inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. My thumb is now infected and extremely sensitive to the touch and I am in a lot of pain. I wish they would've handled the whole situation differently as I am not saying that accidentally clipping your skin shouldn't happen which it shouldn't but, things happen and I completely understand that however they did not handle the situation well and I will not be returning it was an extremely uncomfortable setting, and the customer service was awful. read more

I had never been to this location and I researched their prices on their website and they stated that a child's pedicure is 25 for a child 12 and under. When I go there they said it was for 10 and under. I asked nicely if they could honor the price of the kids pedicure because it was listed online that way. They refused and argued with me. It's not my fault the website is wrong. Not good costumer service for sure. Then she asked me to write a google review for 5 dollars off. I did it because Kim was a sweet lady that did ok but very sad they didn't honor their website prices. Won't be back. read more

Overall, I got passed around three times, paid $90 for nails I didn't want, spent three hours getting basic acrylics, had people pass around my phone laughing, and the guy doing my nails didn't speak a lick of English. he was constantly making tongue clicking noises to tell me what he wanted. He kept getting mad at me because I didn't understand. plus, I got these nails yesterday morning, the charm she used to hide a dot already fell off. Went in to get prom nails done, i wanted acrylics with a simple blue french tip. i got there at 6:50 pm, and didnt leave til 8:55. the guy couldn't finish my nails , so a nice lady came in to try to help but since i dont have a full license, i had to leave and come back the next morning. when i sat down, it was the same guy instead of the girl. He was supposed to just slap a French tip on there so i could leave for another appointment , but he started taking everything off the nail base. a THIRD person came over and painted the nails finally , but there was a massive black dot in my ring fingernails paint . She took my nail, glanced at it, then just kept painting. I didn't want to wait longer, so I asked if she could just put a charm on there to cover it, and of course I still got charged. Let me start off by staying I don't write reviews unless I had outstanding service or the worst I've ever had. This one is the latter. Went to Mimosa's Nail Spa for the first time. I usually go elsewhere but thought I'd try this place since it was closer. Requested to have my SNS removed, a manicure and regular polish. First of all, I am used to having my SNS removed by using cotton soaked in acetone, applying directly to the nail and wrapped in foil. He brought a bowl for me to soak my nails in the acetone (may have been diluted with water) and the liquid was very hot. I told him it was hot and he chuckled and said keep you fingers in there and move them around. I had to keep lifting them up because it was so hot. Then, after a little bit, he took the first hand and used the Dremel to remove what had softened. This continued on both hands until it was down to my bare nails. The Dremel should not be used on bare nails. After trimming my nails and filing, he used the Dremel in on my cuticles and then used the trimmer on my dry cuticles! This is not a manicure. My hands were not soaked, the cuticles were not done properly, there was no lotion or oil of any kind applied to my hands and no massage. He then started polishing my nails with the polish I picked out. He did a base coat and one coat of polish. Another worker came and took over and started with the second coat but first added quite a bit of nail polish thinner to the polish. He finished and sat me under the nail dryer fan for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes it was not completely dry. I sat under it for another 10. I paid $25 for this. I was careful and as soon as I got home, I noticed 3 nails are messed up. I'm going to remove the polish. I'm sure whatever thinner they used had something to do with it. What a waste of time and money. read more

To parade me around to three different employees due to lack of understanding something as basic as gel removal and telling me I had something different on my hands than what I do. I have gotten my nails done every month for the last seven years, and I can say without a doubt this has been the worst service I have ever received. The staff was unfriendly and clearly way overbooked, though they did not articulate it. We had a 12 pm appointment for a full set. I didn't get seated until 12:35, and no one even said anything until it was nearly 1 and I started to leave because of the poor service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am not one to usually write bad reviews but this was completely warranted. read more
