With a couple of not so good experiences with eyebrow threading, I wasn't sure what to expect. The reviews were good, but sometimes you just never know. The salon was spacious, and clean with a lovely scent filling the air. I was greeted, and sat immediately. I chose the package that included eyebrow darkening. I was leary, because the last darkening treatment I received (somewhere else) lasted less than 24hours. When I got out of the chair, I was extremely pleased with the results. I went in early afternoon on 5/28/2021 to have my eyebrows threaded and tinted. Based on the poster they have on the window I thought they would be using some kind of gel to tint the eyebrows. The poster shows something being peeled off of an eyebrow that looks like gel. Based on a conversation I had with Mina on a previous visit I thought I would be able to use some kind of make up remover to remove them if I didn't like them. They were too dark so I did try to take them off as soon as I got home. I used cream, make up remover, soap and water, oil....nothing worked. About 2 days later I had some redness and itching. It didn't bother me since it's happened before when I had my eyebrows waxed. The 3rd or 4th day my eyes were swollen shut. I had oozing hives over both of the eyebrows. I was dealing with headaches and sensitivity to light. I had to go to urgent care and get a steroid shot, Prednisone and ointment for the extreme itching. I don't think my eyebrows will grow all the way back because of the scaring which is bad because the whole reason from he tint was because the eyebrows were already light. I went to the salon to let them know what happen and suggested that they should let people know what they are using for tint. Had I know they were using permanent hair dye I would not have had it done. I found out I was allergic to hair dye 10yrs ago. Her response was very empathetic and suggested I just keep my eyebrows clean and offered my $12.00, which I didn't take. She stated they they "usually" go over the process and "usually" do a skin test, then said, "What do you want me to do." I could tell that she doesn't understand that someone could die from an allergic reaction if the allergy is bad enough or she just didn't care. read more

First time visiter. Mina was very welcoming and warm. I hadn't had my eyebrows threaded in awhile, but she took good care of me. I tried tinting for the first time and it turned out wonderful. Mina is very knowledgeable in her work. She even got me to get a lip wax ouch! But it only hurt a pinch. This place has been my go to for eyebrows. I usually get my eyebrows done by Mina, she is friendly and always does a good job. However, the days I went when mina wasn't there, a different lady did my eyebrows she made offensive comments about my skin,pointing out blackheads and telling me how to wash my face like if I don't HAVE a skincare routine, this was the SECOND TIME she has done this, I said " You can't get rid of blackheads" and she says "scrub your face".I only recommend getting your eyebrows done by Mina. read more
