I came here for the first time while visiting TX based on the reviews. My experience was eh. I felt it was very overpriced for what you received and although Bebe is a very social lady, she left me feeling like i will never come here again. Let me start off by saying, i called ahead to book a relaxing spa package for a full facial and semi massage. Over the phone everything was fine although i found it weird i had to zelle the full amount before arriving. I get facials constantly and have only ever been asked to give a deposit, but i paid the full amount. I get there the ladies were nice to offer me some cheese and champagne but i waited 20 minutes before being seen and there was literally no other clients there. I told Bebe i had some makeup that i need to remove and she made a huge stink about it. Why did i come with makeup? I said its easily removed i am getting a facial so cleansing is part of that.... Well according to her i should keep the makeup on because she would never have clients remove makeup. So weird!!!! I went to the bathroom anyways and removed it because im not about to have a mask and products placed over makeup! What was she trying to do, clog my pores?! Then she mentions it's a full massage and semi facial. When i said nooo i booked a semi massage and full facial, she made that a problem. Insisting her specialty is massaging and that's what the relaxation package is for. I gave in since clearly this lady is the persistent type and i was exhausted from traveling all day. She mentioned several times through the service how i need to feel Relaxed, this is going to be relaxing, jus relax but it's very difficult to relax when you keep mentioning it and talking. She made a lot of noise, either dropping things, forgetting things outside the room or mentioning what a big deal she is several times. So the last thing i felt was relaxed. The full service was about 90 min and about 45 min of that was me just laying there by myself with a bright light over my face. Not even goggles to protect my eyes. The music was abysmal. From nice spa music, to club music, to rap music at some point. It felt all over the place. I will say the massage was great. Her hands are a blessing but it was unfortunate that the ambience ruined the experience, the facial was basic and for a whopping $220 + $45 tip i was ripped off. I didn't complain or make a fuss i honestly jus wanted to get out of there actually relax in my hotel room. Luckily i will never have to come back. read more

I've got more to say! (I come here often!) I tried most recently the bodysculpting and wood therapy, which is amazing for body contouring. After one session, I was down INCHES around my waist and stomach. The red light cavitation radio frequency machine is insaaaaane. I don't understand the science of it because it is so advanced but it WORKS! I'm obsessed and it's my new favorite treatment, and that's saying a lot because I'm obsessed with everything here! While they move this red light device over areas of fat, you literally hear the frequencies in your ears. It's so cool. It zaps your fat! It was super relaxing too, which I was not expecting. And they topped my session off with wood therapy on my back, stomach, sides and legs. I have never felt so good and there was an immediate noticeable difference in my shape. I also love how informative the staff is. They told me what to do to ensure the best results after leaving. I'm so ready to come back and do this all over again! I was able to get in here last minute while I was traveling for work in the DFW area. After a golf outing I was feeling a little sore and searched yelp to try and find a local spa, and found Somar. I called and Bebe the owner was able to accommodate me for a sports massage with little notice. She was amazing! Bebe asked lots of questions to find out what I was looking to accomplish from the massage and she quickly tailored a 70 min sports massage to address a lot of my issues. She used a wood roller to try and work out areas where I was feeling sore. I can't thank her enough to accommodating on such short notice and quickly designing a massage to meet my needs. It was the most relaxing experience I have had in years. She tailored the facial to the meet the needs of my skin and it was both firming and hydrating. In addition, I received a heavenly foot massage and an infrared facial treatment. I had no idea that my skin could actually look and feel smoother, firmer, and more glowing!
