I think the massage rooms at this spa have combined all my favorite spa elements into one space. It is dark, there is surround sound, comfortable coverings on the massage beds, faux candlelight, and they don't mind that I don't feel like talking for my hour of relaxation time! My spouse and I usually get a couples massage, and the staff here is professional every time we've been in. They don't ask for gratuity, it is included in the cost of your massage. AND they give you a bottle of chilled water and amazing salted chocolates when you leave the spa. If you don't feel like you're in heaven yet you will when you get in your car and let one of those melt on your tongue. I was really surprised to find this amazing spa in Midlothian, but this beats any spa I've tried in Dallas. I would drive here to come to this spa from other cities! read more

From the looks of the establishment I guess my expectations were too high. I paid for a "Deep Tissue Massage" and did not receive what I paid for. The masseuse touched me as if she had no upper body strength and I asked if she could possibly apply more pressure. Unfortunately, she brushed off my request as if it was merely a suggestion and continued with the light touches. Thankfully I went out of town the next day and was able to book a deep tissue massage with an amazing masseuse who understood the assignment. I gladly added an additional 25% tip for great service. When I showed up yesterday for my appt they had moved my appt to the provider I had in the past. Amazing as always! Love their appreciation for the customers privacy. If you're looking for just a massage because your back hurts this is NOT your place. However, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat to drift off into a tranquil oasis while receiving a relaxing massage and facial this is for you. I keep returning time and time again and I'm never disappointed by the professionalism offered by all the staff from the front desk to my aesthetician and masseuse. They've remodeled it again to add more space but they've kept the customers in mind with every aspect. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. Likely the best massage room I've ever been in. The surround sound speakers felt like I was on the beach if I didn't know any better. Table was clean and such. Had the heater blanket thing on which i didn't really like but figured it would loosen up the muscles some so didn't really bother me much. Plus after getting back dressed I found the switch to turn it off so next time will just turn it off. The massage itself was ok. The chocolates at the end were delicious! The no hassle no tip thing at the end was also kind of nice although I would have tipped as massage lady did an ok job. Definite best massage place I ever been to. Communication from scheduling to friendly reminders was very professional. The massage started and ended on time. The therapist was absolutely wonderful and the room was very relaxing. My husband got me a 1 1/2 hr massage as a Christmas gift. I love massages. They're so relaxing and rejuvenating. I used to go to another service provider, but didn't find then really all that great...buy Sammie, at Soyokaze, was AMAZING! I wish I could go every week, but will gladly settle for every 4 to 6 weeks. The spa was calm and serene. The staff was courteous. The massage rooms were inviting. I have experienced every one of the therapist and can honestly say that each one has their own signature style of delivering the Soyokaze experience. It is impossible to pick a favorite! I have had the good fortune to try some of the finest spas in the country over the years and paid three times the price of Soyokaze but not one has every been better. They don't have a sauna or steam room like the high end resorts, but the rooms are really nicely appointed, the heated tables and linens are as fine as any resort and the sound system blows them all away. It is a total immersion experience that takes your body and mind far, far away from the world and allows for a total escape for that time you are on the table. And I love that the therapist respect your time and never bother you with idle chit chat. If you have not tried Soyokaze, I promise you will not be disappointed. Found this place via Yelp. Made my first appointment for this past Sunday and had the most amazing experience. My therapist was very friendly and professional from the moment I walked in the door to the second I left. There was a friendly conversation up to the point of the massage and little talking after which is awesome. It was dark. It was relaxing. Music was peaceful- a little loud but hey I fell asleep at one point which has never happened, so it must not have been to bad at the time. Best 90 minute massage I think I've ever had. Full bottle of water and two wonderful pieces of chocolate given to you as you leave. Will def make another appointment in the near future. read more

There are so many things done right at this place that I felt inspired to write a review right after my massage. They appear to have taken the "best of" and mirrored it in one spa experience. I love the "no tipping" policy. I prefer to pay for professional services rendered without having to add a percentage. I like the quiet atmosphere...nice zen-like music, with minimal conversation.
