Cici (older Chinese women) was the masseuse and she was pretty thorough overall with hot oil massage on back, front, arms, legs, feet as well as a nice head, scalp and neck massage. She also used warm stones (I think) on the back area and it felt very soothing - first time I've experienced this. Paid for an hour, but she WAS a clock watcher as there was one in the room and she glanced at it several times. Also, there was another male client (somewhat loud talking) who distracted her and she said something in Chinese and left the room? Not sure why as he was able to wait patiently in his car or just go away (preferably!). However, the spa was very clean outside and inside of the room and fresh linens and towels were used. 1 hour will cost you $70.00 (I heard the loud client say "Your prices have gone up!"), so it was probably $60/hour in the past.

The reason I am even giving two stars is because the location was very clean from the time you walk in. I also appreciated that she took me fifteen minutes early. I unfortunately cannot speak highly on the massage. I was REALLY disappointed with it for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it felt INCREDIBLY rushed throughout the entirety of the process. I completely understand that there is only one hour to do a full-body massage, but that doesn't mean you can rush to a point where I am unable to even relax. I have received many one-hour, full-body massages in my life and this one felt like I was being massaged by a very inexperienced person (although I understand she is licensed). Secondly, the experience felt very unprofessional, as if there was no rhyme or reason to what was happening during the service. Cindi mentioned a couple times that she was physically tired from the holiday rush, so I already felt shortchanged. Regardless, please do not charge $60 for a service that you cannot perform to your best ability. If you know I'm paying and you don't feel your best, please still take your time and try to provide a relaxing experience. The whole experience felt very chaotic and I felt very taken advantage of. I feel terribly writing this review, but for $60, I must say it's not worth it. I normally will tip no matter what happens (bad haircut, bad nails, bad food service-- because I do believe in tipping and in treating people well), but I was truly so disappointed and confused as to what I had just experienced that I simply could not add more than a couple dollars additional tip.

This isn't a big chain with a flat screen tv in the waiting room, however, from the moment I walked in Laura radiated warmth and comfort. She introduced herself to me and asked a lot of questions to understand what my concerns were and what I needed. She made suggestions yet wasn't pushy or domineering as some of the local competitors tend to be. It was all about my personal comfort. Her studio is clean, relaxing, fragrant and the perfect space in which to get out all of the kinks. I hurt my lower back this week and it not only knocked me out of commission with my regular routine, but it made the rest of my body tight and achy because every muscle was over compensating for my aching back. Laura did such an amazing job on me, I felt like a million bucks after. On a side note, Laura practices Reiki. I am not even going to pretend to know what that is, but she said two things to me about my root & heart chakras that were so spot on that it was actually mind blowing! It is hours later now and I'm still thinking about what she said - she has an amazing intuition and is deeply perceptive. The massage was epic and I will be back as soon as possible for another. I have chronic aches and pains and the managers are always helpful and communicate to staff clearly what areas need to be focused on.
