She took me to a fairly large room that could have had three clients, but it was just for me to enjoy - at least that day! She started by asking me quite a few questions about my daily haircare and goals for the cut and deep conditioning treatment I requested. She listened. After a lovely wash and sit with the conditioner, where I enjoyed the peace of that lovely room, she came back and gave me the perfect haircut. She didn't try to do anything extra; she didn't try to offer me a bunch of product; she listened to my request, and made it happen. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm looking forward to pre-vacation manicures and pedicures with my partner in a couple of weeks. Also, I liked their online scheduling system. It's easy to navigate and use, and sends appointment reminders!

When I asked the masseuse to stop my massage, I was offered ear plugs and asked if I knew how to meditate to drown out the noise. It was the first massage in 30 plus years that I had ever been offered ear plugs. The total disregard for my experience was beyond disappointing. I did speak with the manager the following Monday and was offered a rebate of 40%. I was also told that the rooms are not soundproof. I never expected them to be. I cannot in good conscience recommend this spa and will not return.

Celeste is a very talented massage therapist and my massage from her was one of the best I've ever had. I can't recommend her enough. With that said, and this will be the odd part of my review, I have to admit I had one of the worst "massages" ever. I went for the cranial sacral drainage massage (I think that what it was called) and it was the worst $80 I ever spent. There was something off the moment I met the person who performed this service. She was actually rather condescending to me in her attitude and didn't even explain anything to me about this type of "massage", even though I told her this is my first time doing this and I am not familiar with it. I can't even call it massage, but it felt more like torture. I was told to lie down on the table, and then she held my head suspended with her fingertips for an excruciatingly long time. Not 5, not 10, but I'd say a good 20 minutes my head was suspended like this and it was making me nauseous. Finally, I had to say this was too painful and making me feel sick. She put a pillow under my head, and then sat there for over 5 minutes not doing anything. So already 25 mins of my hour massage were gone and it didn't get better after that. From that point on, she squeezed my head very hard and finally I was at the point of irritation and asked if there was going to be any "massage". She got defensive and said, "don't you know anything about this type of massage?" and I said, "No, I already told you I didn't" and even then she didn't explain what she was doing, but instead I should research it myself because there's "tons of information out there". I wish right at that point I would have just got up and left. The very last 5 minutes, she gave me a few shoulder squeezes and rubbed my face a bit, but I still to this day have no idea what I was supposed to get out of that. Instead I went home and grabbed my migraine medicine because I could feel one coming on after that. I seriously think she was literally just messing with my head. (ha) This happened a while ago and I've been waiting to see if that woman is still there. I'm thinking she's not because I don't see that service offered anymore. So, despite that miserable experience, I still give this place 4 stars because of Celeste and I'm sure her other team members are talented as well. Thank you.

Even more disruptive, my massage therapist answered the phone four times during the session. I could also clearly hear another staff member in the next room answering calls two or three more times. It made the whole experience feel chaotic and unprofessional. Despite voicing my concerns during the massage, nothing changed. This did not feel like a place that values customer comfort or understands what a relaxing spa experience should be. I do not recommend this establishment and would strongly encourage others to seek out a more professionally run and calming environment.

Pretty amazing. The foot massage was very good. They use baby oil. She rubbed it all over my face. Again, a little strange. She massages my forehead a lot. I was a little disappointed I didn't get a scalp massage. When I was face up, she climbed right on top of me and began massaging my thighs right into my groin. Weird. My towel was sliding down with my breasts fully exposed. I'm not shy, but if I were, it's be extremely uncomfortable. Just all so strange... That's about it. Not sure I'll go back. Oh and the place wasn't that clean. She kept leaving the room and left the door open. I just laugh at how weird it all was....

While she did spend a lot of time on my knots, it's not what I asked for and not what I agreed to pay for. $10 isn't that big of a deal, but the sneakiness was off-putting. Additionally, she would pause and hold positions for 1-2 minutes. These were not nice positions that benefited me - one position she held 3 times was just putting her hands under my neck. Didn't even flex her fingers or anything - I think she may have thought I was asleep? Some aspects of the massage were good, and I was planning on giving her 3.5 stars prior to finding out about her charging me more without telling me, but I don't like people that try to take advantage of others. I tried reaching out twice to see if there was any chance the extra charge was an accident, but I've been ghosted. Look elsewhere - there are plenty of other options.
