Absolutely Terrible!! nothing about my message was relaxing, enjoyable or therapeutic. my husband went as well and had the same experience. they start by asking what your target areas of concern are but they do not concentrate on those areas. Majorty of my massage time was spent with their elbows jabbing me and scratching my scalp. I asked repeatedly for them to target my back and neck but they did not. Typically when patients are asked to turn over they stay covered. here they held the blanket very high and asked me turn over fully exposed. they did this several times. they also slapped wet towels on me and washed me every 10 minutes. I was freezing and it was extremely uncomfortable. I can't believe they have any good reviews And people pay for this treatment. honestly i could go on and on it was that bad but do yourself a favor and do not go there!! read more

I had a fantastic experience at Everyday Health Spa. My husband booked me a spa package as a Christmas gift from our newborn daughter and it was exactly what I needed! I had a one-hour massage from Lilly that was the perfect pressure and incredibly relaxing. Then I had a body scrub and reflexology from Lakshmi that relaxed me even further. Her hands were magic on my feet! Finally, I had a one-hour facial (I feel terrible that I did not get the woman's name) that was so blissful and calming and left my face astoundingly smooth and dewy! Honestly, I don't think anybody would've believed I was a new mom heading home to a newborn baby after the transformation I went through! The environment was warm, quiet, and relaxing; I might have dozed off at one point in between treatments! I think one really nice detail of the experience was that all of my services took place in the same room, so there was no awkward bathrobe-clad trek to another room for the next step. This one is a big no thanks from me. If you want to read my first, full review of this place, please check it out on Google. It has every detail of my lackluster experience there. I'll leave a couple recommendations for a good massage at the end. This place is not worth your money. I booked two 90 minute massages. One for myself, and one for my Mom. First, while I got my 90 minute massage, my Mom did not. That's not okay- since the whole reason I booked them at all was to treat her. Turns out her therapist was only available for 60 minutes, which left her sitting in their lobby for half an hour while she waited for me. Second, for what they charge I would expect them to use something better than baby oil. Third, the walls are paper thin. I could hear conversations and maybe a child laughing from other rooms clearly. Not exactly a relaxing experience. Fourth, the lights kept coming on. Super bright, and even though I was face down I could tell it was like California in the summer time in there. Fifth, upon paying for our services they didn't even know what to charge us. She asked me what the price was, haha. Now here's the most important part: I wrote a google review that night or the next. I'm always honest- good or bad. A couple weeks later I got an email from Lily and she had asked if I'd be willing to come back again and that she would give us each a free 60 minute massage to make up for my last visit. She addressed the issues I had mentioned in my review and assured this time would be better. I asked my Mom if she even wanted to go back (it's a 45 minute drive for each of us) and while she was hesitant she always gives people a second chance. So I emailed her back and I agreed. I asked her about a specific date etc. She replied and said she could accommodate us... And then she asked me to take my google review down. So now, when I look at all of these reviews with five stars, I just assume they bribed those customers too. I emailed her back and told her that I would like to retract my acceptance of her free massages, as at that point it felt dishonest. She didn't email me back. Yuki was Amazing I went for a deep tissue massage this was my first time going to Everyday Health. But not my first deep tissue and in my experience I have ALWAYS had someone pretty big and strong to be able to really work the Muscles deep. Now the place is nice very peaceful and here comes Yuki so tiny and petite and I'm thinking how is this going to work? Fast forward 60 minutes later and I had the best massage I have ever had my muscles are relaxed and no knots without the pain I've had from deep tissues in the past. I highly recommend. read more

I had a great experience with Everyday Health. I injured my lower back and made an appointment for deep tissue massage. I got to the spa about a half hour early, and checked in at the front desk and the receptionist offered to move my appointment up, which I really appreciated. The reception area is cheerful and pleasant, with a nice comfy area to hang out. My practitioner was Dan. He interviewed me to find out about the nature of my injury, my history with body work, and the amount of pressure I would be comfortable with. This was cool because it allowed me to set the parameters of the massage and attune it to my specific needs. Dan worked carefully on the injured part of my back, gradually easing and resetting the muscles that were sore and in spasm. This was hugely relieving. During the rest of the session he focused on the rest of my back, and did some work on my arms and legs. In doing so, he transitioned the session from intensive therapy to relaxation, which was exactly appropriate to what I needed at that time. He was exceptionally good at working on my neck and shoulders, where I typically carry a lot of tension. The massage room setting was also very soothing and the combination of Dan's relaxation phase and the chill music and lighting elevated my state of mind and by the end of the session I felt like I had been transported to a new level of awareness. I heartily recommend Everyday Health for massage therapy, and will definitely be going back soon! read more

This spa radiates relaxation! From the second you walk in the door and are greeted by the super friendly staff, you feel right at home. The atmosphere is beautiful with lovely plants and decorations around that are incredibly tasteful. I received an hour long custom facial and left with my skin feeling very soft and rejuvenated. There were several masks, exfoliation and even an arm and hand massage. In from out of town, I was in desperate need of a massage from constant traveling. My coworker and I decided to have spend or Sunday off with a spa day. Pur hotel happened to be staying right across the street from here in Novi so when I googled spa they popped up on the map. It didn't have many reviews but from the photos looked beautiful. My colleague had happened to also find a Groupon and they only had one therapist in at the time but found someone to come in and accommodate both of us. From first entering I immediately was happy. They have handmade products on display and the receptionist was very inviting. My appointment was with June. She was outstanding and my colleague had a gentleman who she said was amazing too. We both laughed about how we fell asleep and felt so relaxed afterward. My massage therapist, Kimber Ann is out of this world! However, this is where things start going south. You walk in and feel attacked, not welcomed. Then when the massage started, the last time, the owners started whooping, laughing and getting increasingly louder even though they knew there was a massage going on.
