Gerald Ferraro, Robert (the owner's) late brother, would have me sample some of their very easy drinking and easy pairing Pinot Noir and various others over the years. He wasn't the biggest wine drinker so I was always happy to taste and partake. The pinot noir is light and earthy with some fun notes of jam... Making it great for the holidays and holiday dishes among a plethora of others. I'm very grateful for being able to sample quite a bit and hope to get the tasting room in the near future. I know some select restaurants and shops carry their wine as well. They have great deals on cases online for vintage Pinot Noir and Viognier (my favorite varietal), which I'll be purchasing this year for holiday gifts for friends, family and myself. Cheers!

The guest house was spotless, very reasonably priced, and gave us the complete run of the vineyard once the tasting room closed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The property offers both 1- and 2-bedroom options and has gorgeous views overlooking the North Umpqua River and the vineyards perfect for morning coffee or evening wine on the patio. Steve and Paula, the owners, are wonderful, warm people who were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. Their wines are superb, especially the pomegranate sparkling wine, which quickly became our favorite. We also loved the complimentary charcuterie board! The guest house was well-equipped with a washer and dryer, iron, full refrigerator, coffee maker, and plenty of dishware -- everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located in beautiful Douglas County wine country, it's conveniently just minutes away from many other wineries, making it an ideal base for exploring the Umpqua Valley. I wasn't feeling well that day but the view was a total zen vibe! There's an inside bar area, ample seating outside. It's best to get a reservation or get there early for the outside tables. Restrooms are inside, parking is on the vineyard. The day we were there, they had a taco vendor for food. Overall, this was one of our favorite wineries to visit and hope to be back when we're in the area.
