Caprese salad, Nonno's pizza & bacon/pickle breadsticks. YUM!
Jamie H.

In search of a satisfying pizza & salad combo for dinner tonight, we opted to support local & give Mineo's a try. Holy cow did they knock it out of the park!! I placed an order with ease online & patiently waited for a text to say the order was ready. The employees were very nice & had our order correct AND done early. Considering that the smell of bread & bacon tantalized my senses on the way home, the flavors absolutely delivered once I took a bite. Our family greatly enjoyed the Caprese salad (super fresh mozzarella & tomatoes on spinach), the bacon & pickle bread sticks (that was NOT a typo - yes pickles & they are AMAZING) and Nonno's pizza (sausage, ricotta, spinach & magic, I swear). The flavors were on point, as was the hand-tossed crust. This meal was perfect beginning to end & exactly what I was looking for!!

Chicken Bacon & Ranch (medium)

We ordered delivery from Mineo's while we were babysitting and it worked out great. Their online ordering process was simple and it allowed us to look through the menu while deciding on our dinner. The automated system estimated an hour and 15min for delivery but it only took 45min at 6pm on a weekday. The Mickey Mouse pepperoni pizza on the kids menu was perfect for our 6yr old niece. The pizza is huge but it's so cheap. The Mickey Mouse shape was loved by the kids. The chicken bacon and ranch pizza was very good. We would prefer a little less ranch since it kind of took over the pizza but it was tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the large chunks of tomatoes on it either but overall, the pizza tied together nicely. The breadsticks were fantastic. When it comes to breadsticks, there is a fine line between seasoning and boring bread. These guys nail it and they are large enough to share with everyone. We also ordered a side salad which was the perfect size as well.

Everything is good enough, I suppose. However, one dirty martini and a Caesar salad without protein…read morecomes to $31 with tip? Yeah... no. I suppose the food is fine enough, but I've had several subpar experiences with their mussels here. It's not a hipster establishment, but the prices do make one question this restaurant's lore. I cannot reconcile the high price with the lack of quantity, regardless of "quality." Truly, I always come back because it's close to home and albeit sounds good, but Pepino's happy hour menu can't be beat imo. They also have nice pasta and it's only $10 on Thursdays instead of $15-23. I understand that Licari's is upscale Sicilian, but I think I prefer establishments that deliver on food and price rather than just talking a big game. Sorry Licari's. $30+ dollars for a salad and a drink is a bit much... I did see some happy hour special for bruschetta and a drink for $15. However, I probably won't come back to try it.

A very cozy modern atmosphere. There's plenty of light and it feels welcoming…read more I ordered some Garlic Bread ($4) for an appetizer. 4 slices of a superb garlic bread. Very tasty with a fresh garlic taste. My only complaint is they don't give you enough sauce to go with it. I had read that they have one of the best pizzas in Michigan. So I ordered a small Amore Pizza ($20). This has House-made sausage, ham, bacon, pineapple, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. I got mine without the pineapple. The pizza was good. It just wasn't special. The ingredients all seemed tasty enough. The crust wasn't my favorite, but I didn't dislike it either. I brought some home and I liked it even less cold. I've had so many better pizzas. Not sure how people think it's the best. The service was outstanding. Definitely service with a smile and enthusiasm. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? For the pizza, no. Maybe to try something else. It is definitely an above average place, just maybe not for me.

We were seated very promptly since we had a reservation. The outside of restaurant is beautiful and has a huge parking lot. The area where we were seated was really nice with windows all along the wall. And our appetizers- the dressed eggs and lobster ravioli were amazing!! One of the biggest issues was the number of gnats flying around our table throughout the meal. We constantly had to swat them away from our wine glasses, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the evening. I understand the occasional gnat. But this was kind of ridiculous. The service was also disappointing. Our server mentioned that he had worked at the restaurant for quite some time, but he didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu and wasn't able to answer questions confidently. He was also not very attentive, and we often had to wait longer than expected for check-ins. Our food came out quickly but the wine always took quite a while to come to the table. The food itself was good, but when you're paying fine-dining prices, you expect the entire experience--including the atmosphere and service--to match. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues because it has the potential to provide a much better dining experience. Also, I would skip the sea bass entree. I was not really impressed with it and wished that I had ordered a pasta dish. However the server helped me decide and chose the sea bass. I loved the atmosphere. I loved the decor. I loved the wine and appetizers. But everything else just did not impress me. Not for the amount of money we dropped on this meal. I doubt I will return.

Meh- 1. Parking-There are spots to park behind the…read moreestablishment. Not a lot in front or to the side. 2. Emplyees-I found them kind of rude, honestly. I was alone sitting at the bar trying to figure out which beer I wanted to try. The lady didn't ask what type of beers I like or offer any suggestions. I drank the cranberry seltzer, which was OK. Had a nice flavor and I felt like I was drinking Ocean Spray Cranberry juice. I will say the man who came on around 5 or 6 was super nice and attentive, but by that time I had given up and was planning my exit. 3. Employee Conversation-I overheard the employees talking about a large group who frequented the bar. I felt the employees were speaking a bit negatively about the group. I wish they had known there audience b/c I was part of that group. 4. Food-You have to order at the bar, which is cool. I can not speak to the food, b/c I didn't order any. Rather than listen to the employees talk about people who spend money in their establishment I went to Culvers down the street where they may talk about me but at least I don't know it. 5. The menu does not match what is on line. Prior to going there I looked at their on line menu and what I saw online did not match onsite. Perhaps if the bartender had been more invtiting I may have been more inclined to ask questions, but she didn't seem very interested in talking with me. Online they talk about doing a cool partnership with the funeral home to raise money for a cool veteran fund, I would have gotten that if I had felt more comfortable asking questions. 6.-Overall my experience was meh. I don't intend on returning, but in talking with other people they really seem to enjoy this place. From what I have heard the pizza is really good, I do like a good Chicago Style Pizza. I am sticking with my three stars. This is just my experience, I am all about supporting local businesses. I overheard the owner or manager telling someone they have a property in South Haven. South Haven has a piece of my heart as do local breweries. I hope I caught the place on a bad day and I hope more the SH establishement has friendlier staff.

Good sandwiches as well; sloppy Joe was best of the group. Fries were great. They no longer have pizza, but they don't seem to lack for options. Everything reasonably priced. The chef/owner, Cody, came out and spoke to our party at length. Very welcoming.
