We've been for beer before but never food- the pizza is amazing! We tried the thin crust (cheese) and deep dish (spinach stuffed) and both were great! The deep dish is chicago style and maybe one of the best chicago style I've ever had. The thin crust could've been a little crispier, but the flavor was good enough that it made up for it. The place is really big with lots of seating, and you seat yourself and order at the bar, so it's very casual, but still nice. They gave us a heads up that the deep dish might be like a 40 minute wait, but it didn't take quite that long (or maybe we just didn't notice because the beers were so good!) I really like their coffee blonde ale. They also have flights available!

Great beer, the pizza was good, but I have to admit, I like the Chicago chains better. Would I go back? Absolutely!

Hello! I am very pleased to offer a review of Anna's House Grandville. I'm not gonna lie, this is…read morenot my first review. My first review was a terrible review because they had not learned their tablet system yet. My wife convinced me to come back anyway, and the second time I was hooked on aunt Anna's house. Unfortunately, after attending several years together and eating the finest of foods, my wife passed away in November 2024. I miss her dearly but one day I summoned the nerve to go in there on my own. It was right after my second of five surgeries I've had since November. I walked in and I was just recovering and I felt terrible, but I felt the need to go to church. So I stumbled in slowly and said to the server I just had surgery and I'm in no hurry and yet I'm in a hurry I don't know what I'm in... The servers name was Angie and the rest is history, it turned out. She: had had five surgeries of her own, and she was an empath all the way. Hugged me, made me feel welcome, introduced me to two other awesome servers, and their names are Victoria and another one of my favorites Avery. Avery is the one I call "a very good time." Now some might take exception to that nickname, but Avery loved it. And me and her can do no wrong with each other even though she's 50 years older than me. She not only is a great server, but she's my counselor there. I was having some LUV problems and Avery straightened me out. And if she didn't, Angie would've. And then Victoria is a content developer for Instagram, which I think that's just a normal user of Instagram but she's really cool and I think she didn't liked me at first. I said "Are we ok?" and she looked at me and said YES... so now next time I'm gonna ask for her to serve me because she is the bomb. Now the food is the real draw at Anna's House. Their menu cannot be topped. They have items for everybody from serious meat eaters to prudent young vegan eaters. Having mentioned the surgery during Nov-Apr, my system has sort of reset, and now I crave healthy foods. So the last time I've gone to Anna's, I've gotten Açai Power Bowl, which was great and then an another power bowl, which they have on the menu. You cannot go wrong with either one and on each case I could only eat about 3/4 of it because I just felt filled and satisfied from them. Being an egg, bacon, toast, pancake, kind of guy, this departure from my norm was, well, I never saw it coming. So just to summarize here the four people I know at Anna's house: Angie, the manager of seating and serving; Callie, the general manager, Victoria server level one, and Avery server level zero if there's such a thing... Oh never mind we'll just give her one as as well as Victoria. And if you want entertainment choose Victoria, but if you want care and compassion that would be Avery. A very good time... Lol. So if you're there on a Sunday, you'll probably see me. I'm gonna put a couple of pics down below and I'm sure you're gonna go. Oh that dude well, I'm staying clear that restaurant...

Our server Annabelle was so personable, friendly and engaged in conversation. She was so sweet! We started with what we thought would be a normal cinnamon roll. Oh my gosh, their cinnamon roll was on steroids. It was beyond big. Needless to say, most is traveled home with us. The cinnamon roll was warm and gooey deliciousness. Hubby ordered the breakfast lasagna. Never saw that before. It was an egg casserole - layered eggs, spinach, sundried tomatoes, basil, mushrooms, turkey sausage and ricotta cheese. Hubs gave it two thumbs up. I had a half order of Anna's healthy baked oatmeal with dried cherries and raisins served with steamed almond milk to pour on top. Very good. Anna's House has various locations throughout Michigan. If you ever come across one, stop here. It's one not to miss. Thanks Annabelle for the great service!

Got seated and were never welcomed we had to ask a server to please get us drinks. The same thing happened when we needed to order. It seemed no one knew we were in the section. Our table of three took us almost 1.45 to have lunch. Front of the house might not have had it together but the kitchen did! The food was great! We had fried green tomato app- fantastic sauce. One had shrimp and grits she loved her meal- grits were course ground. I had the veggie omelette and subbed Brussels sprouts for potatoes and they were amazing. I would highly recommend trying this combo! All in all food is good but the service was slow and not very efficient- honestly the service was bad enough to rate a three but I loved those dang Brussels sprouts with my omelette!

As far as the service, everyone was very polite, and food came fairly quickly. The menu had some limited time biscuit beignets that were so good. They were nice and fluffy and chewy and covered in cinnamon. Fried pickles were also very good and not overfried. They had a strong pickle taste which is a good thing, they tasted fresh. The portion size was huge as well, we couldn't finish them all and had leftovers. For my main entree i ordered the sausage and egg breakfast casserole. It was good but lacked something. I added some tobasco sauce to it and that gave it a bit of a kick. I probably would have ordered the steak and egg casserole instead had i noticed it before. There was the cutest store attached to the restaurant that really taste my self control. I bought 2 really cute aprons, one was a Dolly Parton Apron and the other was a mushroom apron for a gift. I definitely reccomend looking here if you want to get a gift for someone as they have a variety of kids and adults items. Some very unique items as well. Overall i highly reccomend this place, it's a good value all around, and the food is good

It's a beautiful building with lots of wood and decor that makes you feel like you've traveled somewhere far away from Grand Rapids for a tapas adventure. We were seated promptly, and our server was attentive, although I do believe overloaded with tables. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night they said, and we had to ask for several things a couple of times. This isn't a big deal as we all understand being busy. It almost seems like we tried the whole menu, but some of the standouts were the charcuterie (jamon y queso), the empanadas, and the goat cheese (queso con herbias). The patatas bravas were a big hit with our group. Our least favorite dishes were the carne paella and the albondigas. We did not try any of the seafood options, but some were very intriguing. We had a non seafood lover at the table. All of our drinks were delicious, aside from a couple of mistakes with getting the wrong ones. Overall, it was a great visit and I would return if in the area.

We waited about 45 mins before our food came (omelette, pancakes, a few strips or bacon & sausage, fruit). Food was lukewarm at best & plates were brought out in a weird sequence (2 of my kids got food, then after a bit came me and my husband's food, then a few more minutes came my toddlers food...). When the check came, I was SHOCKED to see a kids meal was $8.99!! The most expensive I've ever seen at any place. Here's an example of what is considered a kids meal: 1 pancake & 1 prepackaged container of apple sauce. $8.99!! Another example: 1 pancake & 1/4 cut banana slices w 2 cut strawberries...Here's the kicker...At the end we were charged for the kids drinks (a tiny cup of lemonade(s) and apple juice) $2.59/drink--I asked the waitress why that wasn't included with the meal since it's shown on the kids menu. I was told then that it's actually not included at all--wow, would've been nice to know, we would've opted for waters! Our food was about $12.99. Example of our food: 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of ham, 2 strips of bacon. & about $4 more than a kids meal & a lot more food than what they get. For a family of five, the bill came to $72 and some change before the tip! I'm just also here to say we took the family to dinner at red lobster and only spent $30 more than we did at ihop...for shrimp, lobster, snow crab legs etc...I think you get the point. We are all set on ever returning to IHOP.
