Almost every step something was dropped or banged into my finger. I asked her to cut a little and completely cut my nails. I asked her to keep them square she rounded them out. I've also never had to pay before service and I was asked and made to pay before receiving my manicure which was a little uncomfortable. After that her attitude and attention to detail lacked. I'm left with a bumpy uneven manicure with polish on my fingers as well as in my cuticles. Will keep in mind for future reference to not book with her again. Very disappointed for a repetitive customer.

I booked an appointment in advance for acrylic nails but still had to wait 15-20 mins. Then they call over a lady who's in the middle of doing a mans pedicure I had to ask her to change her gloves. I show her a fall design (brown French tip with glitter outline on the french) she says $165 so I tell her I just want French nails white tip and show her a photo of what I got last time at the same salon- it was $55 (65 with tip) and she tells me it's $95. I tell her this photo is what I got last time at this same salon the photo I had was even taken inside this salon and it was $55 but she just starts saying something fast I truly don't understand other than that's obviously not the price today.. At this point I've already got the tips on my nails and I'm leaving for vacation the next day so I don't have time to find another salon I tell her that's fine. I specifically tell her I want clear acrylic powder and gel nail polish (so I can get a fill elsewhere because at this point I know I'm not coming back) she starts putting gel builder on my pinky and I immediately tell her no I want acrylic powder. Again more fast talking about "you say gel you say you want gel". Yes gel nail polish I thought I was talking to a competent nail tech clearly I'm mistaken. Also I told her before she got far I don't understand what the attitude was about all she did was wipe it off and take out the acrylic powder.. The whole time she's doing my nails she's speaking her language which normally I wouldn't mind but she's clearly upset with me and the nail tech next to her keeps looking over at me and my nails another nail tech also comes to see my nails after she spoke with her so clearly things were being said. I'm pregnant and came here to relax and this experience threw off my whole vibe. I'm new to the area and had only tried this place once before and the first time I didn't have nearly as bad of an experience just a little wait time which I can deal with Then after finishing my nails she doesn't oil, lotion or massage (which I saw every other nail tech do to their client after finishing their nails and I got last time at least the oil and hand lotion would have been nice considering I just overpaid for short frenchies) Then she tells me $75 in the rudest way possible and walks off. Happy for the price cut from 95 to 75 but again why is the price changing over and over? I paid and left fast I came in for Kami and pedi but after my nails I couldn't even be bothered with a pedicure. Just disgusting behavior I would not recommend and will be trying some place else

Now at other establishments I have always paid for services after everything had been completed, so I was shocked when the nail technician stoped in the middle of painting my nails and ask "ok you pay now" I paid but quickly realized that every other customer paid after there services were finished . I brushed it off and decided to give this place another shot but the same thing happened, a customer even chimed in and asked why do you have to pay first. The experience was extremely uncomfortable. My cuticles are still burning. 2 days out (manicure was on Wednesday) and already the top coat is peeling off about half my nails and my nails are separating from the powder. When I arrived I was started immediately. Very carefully my pedicure was performed perfectly. My finger nails needed extensions, sns powder, with gel and a sweet design. I couldn't be happier. One of the biggest issues has been trying to schedule appointments with the nail technician I request. It has consistently been more difficult than it should be, despite my being a long-time customer. I shouldn't have to fight to book with the technician I prefer. I've also had multiple experiences where my nails looked fine when I left the salon, but by the time I reached my destination, the polish wasn't fully dry or something had already been damaged. When I returned to have the issue corrected, I was often made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff. The reality is, if the service had been done properly the first time, I wouldn't have had to come back. Another concern has been the level of customer service. On several occasions, the manager, Vicky, has come across as dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational in her interactions with customers. The way concerns are communicated matters just as much as the resolution itself. In contrast, Joyce has consistently demonstrated a much more professional, respectful, and courteous approach. Even when addressing an issue, her delivery reflects good customer service, and that difference is noticeable. I also find it unprofessional when staff members begin speaking in another language while actively addressing a concern that involves me, especially without including me in the conversation. I understand that employees may naturally speak their preferred language with one another. However, when it happens during a customer interaction, it can make a customer feel excluded and leave the impression that they are being discussed. Whether or not that is the case, it creates an uncomfortable experience and does not reflect the level of professionalism I expect as a paying customer. I've also noticed that some customers appear to receive a different level of treatment than others. Every paying customer deserves the same respect, attention, and professionalism. I work hard for my money, and I have every right to advocate for the service I want. Asking for quality work and respectful customer service should never be treated as a problem. After five years of supporting this business, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Loyalty should be appreciated, not taken for granted. The shop is spacious, quiet, clean and spa-like with chill music; no shouting or blaring TVs like in other places around here so it's a nice relaxing experience. Their gel manicures stay strong for weeks, prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking in front of the store. CU2 is popular so they can get busy, best to call ahead for an appointment although they do take walk-ins as well. Fantastic.
