Let me just say the lady that did my manicure had to do it 3 times because everytime she put me under the door to dry my nails the fan in it would blow the polish, so it would look like my polish was smeared. No supportive interjections from the nail salon worker. Just a screwy 20 something year old, getting in my face, a 60 year old, with her absurd and outrageous flack! I was the one that was trying to get things done a certain way. I was the customer . For example, I explained to the salon worker that I prefer she didn't clip my nails on the side of my finger, I like the length cut to a certain point. All the tools were in a vacuum sterile pack and a brand new pumice scrub was used to exfoliate the bottom of my feet. A gentleman did my nails. He took his time and they came out ok. I just wish they would use oil as opposed to cheap lotion on customers feet. My skin shouldn't be dry or chapped when I leave the salon. They lost a star there for me. As well as with the filing and shaping of my nails. It wasn't as perfect as I'm used to with my salon in Queens. Overall this was a very relaxing environment. It's as quiet as a library here. There's a sign that says to be mindful of your cell phone use. I felt very relaxed the whole time. The gentleman gave me the best happy ending massage while I dried my toes.
