This place has been here for a while but I visited for the first time a couple of days ago. I had a regular gel manicure and a pedicure and it was amazing. The lady who did my nails was super nice and helped me pick out a matching color for my nails. The pedicure was also very relaxing and the perfect way to end a long work day. She also took great care to make sure my nails were nice and prepped before putting on the color, and cleaned my nails very gently. They also had a wall of colors to pick from! I absolutely love this place! I get UV hard gel done by Chris every time, and it lasts me 4 to 6 weeks. I used to see Mia for dip powder nails, which also held up really well. I switched from dip powder to UV hard gel after developing an allergic reaction, and since Mia doesn't offer hard gel, I started seeing Chris. Both Chris and Mia are fantastic -- they really listen to your requests and do an amazing job with prep, shaping, and designs. read more

I went recently to get my nails done and booked with someone else who isn't my usual. I even asked the guy who I believe is Yumi's husband to please make sure the person is good because I don't want to complain or come back he said "she good she good"... it started off bad she didn't shape me well which is what you usually do then powder then shape again and top coat and boom you're out the door. She missed spots, had nails going different directions, missing powder on nails and I had to keep pointing out the errors. I felt bad I even teared a little because I was tired and just wanted to get my nails done and come home to my kids. As we finished I told her I had too many red marks she tried to remove but we all know red is hard to take off. I let it be I already had in my mind I was not going to tip her she did a horrible job and I had to damn near tell her how to do my nails. I paid got my stamp and mind you I'm one stamp away from the "prize"... her husband yells across the room and tells me "where is her tip"... now i was even more livid I told him "tips are not mandatory look at my nails I'm not happy with her work" he didn't even care to look and told me "I don't care I trust her work don't come back keep your card".. horrible customer service and to top it off someone had came in to get their nails fixed because they were chipping. Ironically most of the time I'm there at least one person is fixing the mess up of other workers. But as a man you shouldn't talk to women in any type of way especially if you're running a shop where is your customer service knowledge at. I am truly hurt as I've been coming here for a while now because a friend recommended this place and I even told others to go... but this place is not it anymore. He would have to apologize and do my nails for free a couple of times to get me back, I'm so over your husband Yumi please teach some manners!!! read more

Been coming here religiously for the past couple of months. I have 0 complaints, everyone is great. They are super busy for good reason, but their attention to detail is reassuring. I always get compliments wherever I am, I had always gone to specific nail techs and never to a salon but You & Me changed my mind. I usually get dip-power gel manicure and regular pedicure. 10/10 stars no notes. You will not regret booking an appointment, everyone is nice and accommodating. I go out of my way to visit since it's not by my house but it's totally worth it. The nails also last super long and they keep the integrity of the nail. Not to mention they're pretty affordable! Best nail spa I've been to on Nassau for as long as I've lived on Long Island. From their phone etiquette making a same day appointment on a Saturday to their exquisite service. In the spirit of National Relaxation day, after work today I treated myself to a Lemon Spa Pedicure with Angie. I read the high praises in the reviews and decided to take a chance. This was the best spa pedicure I've had. It started off with a lemon moisturizer on the legs, callus treatment, cuticle clipping, lemon scrub and ended with a relaxing 10 minute hot stone massage and paraffin wax on my heels. The hot stones were my favorite ! After the paint job, I went to the drying station and received a complimentary back massage. Perfect amount of pressure. This was the perfect way to celebrate National Relaxation Day. I love that they have manners here and that they have so many nail colors to pick from. Also they have curtained partitions to keep it sanitized during COVID19. Also their pedicure chairs actually recline all the way back. I made an appointment the day before I did my nails. They were nice and accommodating given my busy schedule. I went there to take my acrylic off and get a regular manicure and Wendy informed me how they would chip and be brittle and how I should try SNS because that is their specialty. Me and my cousin wanted to get our nails done to treat ourselves and so we visited this place because of the high reviews + it was the closest to my house. We didn't have an appointment and just walked in but they attended to us very quickly. We both had did the gel powder nails because it was highly recommended (although unlike my cousin, I got nail extensions done as well) and wow let me tell you how bomb my nails look as you can see from the pictures I provided!!! My first gel nail experience was a few years ago and it wasn't as good looking as this. They person who did my nails back then did it fairly quickly too, meanwhile Kai, the nail technician who did my nails here, really took his time in perfecting it. They try to shame customers who don't tip Enough to their standards ($10 wasn't enough- I got powder mani, regular pedi and eyebrow done...). They are entitled and seem to believe tip is a requirement. After sharing his recommendation that tips should be 20%, the manager dare to tell me not to visit their place again because mine wasn't enough, even came back to where I was drying my feet to lecture me some more- No problem!! I had a great experience at this salon. I called in ahead to see if they could squeeze me in as a walk in for powder removal and a new overlay at 6pm. Kai removed my previous Mani that I do at home. And he reshaped my nails. Mong put in a ton of care and was efficient. Chrome itself is hard to do well because once the chrome powder is buffed in you can see every bump and scratch. Update!! This is now my go to regular salon. I just can't explain how much I love the service I get at this nail salon. I called the salon one day to change my appointment from a SNS to a different powder gel. As soon as I gave yumi my name she immediately remembered me and what my usual service at the salon was. Just that alone just shows how they get to know their clientele and how much they appreciate patronage. When I go there they treat me with so much patience and kindness. Ive been to this salon 5 times before and have had nice experiences & good quality, but Im never going back. Ive had 3 different nail techs but this last one , which i believe is the MANAGER or owner was so horrible. Ive never EVER complained or have ever written a yelp review so it was baddd! Had a 4:30 appointment for dip powder on a Friday afternoon, which is always busy so it's fine that I had a wait 15 minutes. When the nail tech who was a man & manager started doing my nails he was using the electric buffer, he not only skinned one but three of the sides of my fingers causing them to bleed. Not to mention he didnt clean the station at alll after the last person. There were bumps,dents and unevenness all over every single nail. Each nail is a different length and shape. This is all because he was barely looking at my nails and rushing... too busy yelling at his employees, on the phone, making appointments for other customers. I didn't leave until 6:30pm, i mean he had some one else put lotion on my hand at another chair in the corner which was so uncomfortable and awkward. , I really liked this place at first but he did such a horrible job that I can never go back. read more

I was impressed with availability of appointments. I made one with Jess and arrived slightly early. I was seated as soon as I got there. Place was super busy but somehow I felt very relaxed. There are multiple TVs on mute with relaxing music playing in the background. The walls are lined with many different brands and colors of powder. I think they specialize in powder more than gel nails.The chairs are comfortable as well. I chose a nice red gel color from the large color selection. Mong does a great job- so does Kris - when they can get you in. But this place is always super busy and even if you call ahead you often have to sit there on the side waiting for your turn with like 4 more people. Also no massage at the end if they're really rushed which seems like they're cutting corners. Sometimes they will sometimes they will not. I went there for a number of months and brought work friends but then one day when I couldn't wait any longer for the growth of my SNS and needed to get it redone because my nails were going to break and they said they had no room for the entire day I just went somewhere else. I was happy when I had Mong and Kris. But other times not as much. Mong has great customer service skills and Kris was just very funny and both did a great job.
