I am very disappointed in the quality of the food prepared for the hot case. Nothing is freshly made, all way over fried. We ordered the Tornados. Suppose to be a breakfast item. The eggs looked like cardboard and the other items inside were indistinguishable. They tasted awful and we couldn't eat even half of them. Everything else besides the corn dogs looked way over cooked and very dry. We were using the laundry services. As we walked in and looked around, the floors were scattered with dirt, laundry soap, and other items. There was no paper towels in the dispenser to dry hands. And a good portion of the machines were "Out Of Order". I attempted to use the quarter machine and it wouldn't work to take my dollar bills. I recently finished a 10 hour patrol shift as a police officer. I went for a jog at 2:30am because I get off at 2am. While jogging a man with a gun chased me into the Shell station. I asked the employees to call the police three times after telling them I needed help. They hesitated and when I confronted the man chasing me I was told to leave and treated like crap. Went and talked to the manager and owner about what happened. They both gas lighted me and victim blamed me for being out so late. Hi my name is Pavel Barbura and me and my wife wee go to wash 2 big loads in a date of 2o January 2021 and because i du have medical problems after wee du put in the machines the clothes , i decide on 3:45 pm to go purchase a soda and because the clerk with id 999 was drinking himself a soda i du ask politely if i can have a glass and same ice from my wife and i ask if wee can consume this is the store! The Clark he said yes if you purchase from us the soda we can drink so i thank him politely for the glass and ice and i depart in the laundromat space! All this time i du have the mask and respect the social distancing! Waiting for the close to be dane i see a lot of customers have drink inside and eat their produce! After a wile came a man each i see pumping gas with a blond hair very dirty coming towards to my table approach very close bending over table so invading my space and the social Distancing and beginning to du yelled very strong on me getting me scare i that he's gonna hit me so i get back with my chair and because i read in my phone the messages i du not understand what he was yelling on me and he repeatedly again more stronger so i du telling him to slow down and du not yelling on me because all the customers presenting in the store are looking on us and just shake their heads and folding their clothes and just go! So i told him to chill of and telling me what he want and he telling me i du not spouse to drink in their store! I told him i du ask for permission their Clark each was drink himself and i told him anthers customers they du the same eat and drink in their store and i du ask him where he right that! After a wile another employer woman came towards to my wife the same very close to my wife very aggressive and pointing with the fingers and long nails painting in gray dirty without the gloves and continue to du harassing my wife instead to du their job and to understand if they want somebody same imaginary law they du have to respect herself and the rest of their employers to du not drink or eat in a front of anthers customers and give a bad and confuse example to customers, and after that to pick on us only from all the customers ! Wee du talk with the Press and they call this a HATE CRIMES !!! WEE CALL THE LOCAL POLICE AND THEY SAID THE HARASSMENT IS NOT A CRIME BUT IS A MISDEMEANOR Class B each is 6 month in jail and $2500 fine! Just because Dan Peterson is rich and hate minority's he give order to go from their store just because wee du call the local Police ! This is one of the best equipped business locations that I have seen since Petro Truck Stops. The Warrenton Mini Mart has it all -- with most services being offered 24 ours a day. It is just easier to list all that it has to offer : 24 Hour Mini Mart / Grocery 24 Hour Shell Fuel Station 24 Hour Coin Op Laundry -- (Free Dryer Wednesdays During Off-Season) Free Wi-fi / Internet Lotto / Power Ball / Keno Copy Machine **Taco Time Mexican Fast Food **Hot Food Case (Fried Chicken, JoJos, Pizza Rolls, Corn Dogs, Etc) ** = Not Available 24 Hrs This place has been a lifesaver for us many times when we needed to do large amounts of laundry, were waiting for our internet to be hooked up at our house, were too lazy to cook, craving a late night treat, had to fuel up after hours, etc. The staff here are always courteous and on top of things. This place has lots of "regulars" and it is always cool to see the staff interact and joke around with them. This can be a thankless job, and ALL of the staff here work damn hard and put up with a lot. I have heard many good things about the owner as well. He is very active in the local community and supports many local causes (schools, food drives, etc.). That kind of commitment earns my loyalty hands down. This is one of the few examples of what is right with Warrenton. The Shell / Mini Mart / Taco Time in Astoria is also owned and operated by the same person I believe. BOTH great businesses. Hands down the best establishment of it's kind, I've never experienced a more consistent staff, ALWAYS helpful & truly kind. I "misplaced" my truck keys while doin my laundry, could not find them anyplace, Tim noticed me lookin around still trying to keep my cool & asked if I needed help. We looked for those dang keys high & low...just as I was calling the locksmith to the tune of about $150,Tim walks up and says "OH you owe me big time!!!". He found my keys in the trash can in the restroom. Now, get passed the part where I tossed them in the trash can, and think about the fact that he dug in the trash to "maybe" find a total stranger's keys. Over and above his "job title". Best place to do laundry in the Astoria-Warrenton area. And they have a little spot in the corner where you can toss your kids and almost forget about 'em for a while. The smell of fried chicken in there is enough to drive a man insane. Can you even imagine trying to fold clothes with that grease on your fingers? What a crazy blending of worlds. While on Vacation not know my way around a young man approached me and offered to fuel my vehicle, he was so kind. He was a pure Gentleman, slender and tall. He is very professional, offered my pups dog treats. Treated me as if I we're family. The individual is an African American I believe and I would like his employer to give this young man a raise. I truly wish the best for this young man as with his kindness and his heart along with his work ethic he is going places. They have an okay selection of everything and the pricing is a bit high. The workers are okay, they don't really seem to know what they have in the shop. I do, however, adore the taco time items they carry. The ultimate burrito is my favourite. The sad part is, they never have enough to last past 8. I've been stopping in this place since I was a teenager... grew up two blocks away, my parents still live in the same house; been almost 20 years now, actually. In total honesty, it depends on the day the service you'll get... but I can honestly say in almost 20 years of stopping in,,,, there ARE more GOOD DAYS than bad, the taco time place there is the best one in the county,,, both on price and portion, they have a daily special for Taco Time and a daily special on something in their deli case (hot and cold) 7 days a week. they do get busy, and you can wait in line 10 minutes some times of the day for a pack of smokes or a lotto ticket,,, BUT remember to say HI to who you're next to in line, they probably live right down your block, or their kids go to the same school yours' do, OR the next time your truck breaks down in the sideways-january-rain,,, the person in front of you might just happen to DRIVE BY you walking, or scratching your head looking under the hood (while getting soaked)..... so, you can spend the time in line, getting all worked up about how it shouldn't take that long, OR you could say hello, and talk about the weather for a minute, and make a new friend.... it's your choice. they also have a very nice laundry mat, I used to be there every saturday morning, in my 20s...... the machines perform great, and it's always clean. . . . . Was camping at Fort Stevens last week and needed to fill the truck with gas. My truck requires premium and I told the attendant twice before giving him the keys to the locking gas cap and yet he filled it with regular. I'm glad I checked the receipt when finished so I could run over to the Fred Meyer store to buy some octane booster to protect my engine. read more
