June 2924 Saved me a trip to seaside or other market. Very small but had my wine, Water, half n half and half the side of building was a cooler full of beer, EVEN MY FAVORITE! Calling this a grocery store would be a stretch. It's more like a convenience store without gas pumps in a town with zoning that requires low-key signage. They have snacks, cold drinks and beer. But that's really about it ... I was looking for a grocery store, and Google Maps came up with Theresa's Market. As a convenience store, it's probably fine ... but even something like their candy selection is really very limited (standard cheap candy bars, nothing sophisticated). This is not the place to Tim's potato chips, Theo's chocolates or Annie's popcorn. We're talking Reeses peanut-butter cups, Hershey's chocolate and Lays potato chips. read more

Popped into this little market a couple of times on my birthday weekend visit for forgotten items or things I ran out of. Fairly priced and Tumac at the front counter was very nice and friendly. Happy to find great customer service in this small place. read more

Theresa's Family Market is a little place that is located to the South of "downtown" Cannon Beach and is a much appreciated place to have around since it always seems that the grocery store in town is full with people and waiting lines. This place doesn't have that issue. It's easy to jump into and grab a few things and get out of fast, without having to maneuver around a ton of people and wait in line to purchase what you have chosen. Even though this place doesn't offer stuff, from what I saw the couple times I went, that you can take back to your room and cook (if you have a kitchenette), it does offer quite a bit of snack options and drink to purchase and take to go (more than a gas station). I would definitely suggest this place for a quick in and out option rather than heading to the grocery store "downtown". read more

Got wood? Firewood. It's $5 a bundle. Buy it, light it, stay warm. Sometimes we like to carry a bundle to the beach & after a fire is made we dance around half-naked shouting, "I, have made fire!" Wilson normally looks on... unimpressed. read more

Re: Transportation; C.B. to PDX by Bus./According to "Chelsea" it is called the N.W.Point Bus (future Riders f.y.i.). She provided me with immediate answers to my travel questions (uncomplicated unlike trying to traverse the Greyhound or Amtrak Bus data sites; and way more succinct than Sunset Empire info - no offense intended). The employees are friendly and professional people, but I wasn't expecting they would have such information at their fingertips (she didn't have to look it up). I need to be at my Dad's house in Portland to 'say goodbye' - so frustrated after hours on-line, Chelsea took the sting out of the travel situation. Now I know what type of accomodations and jaunts to make to accomplish things and so forth. Very reliable person. read more

This place is overpriced. Don't expect to buy anything with a credit card for less than $5. They don't add a fee... They simply wouldn't sell it you. I have never stood at a counter with a coffee and a newspaper before and been told I can't buy them unless I buy more overpriced crap. read more

These low reviews are ridiculous! This is a tiny beach town with few options; the place is like an oasis. Can't use a credit card for a purchase less than $5? why is this important enough to lose 4 of 5 stars? And they even have a sign saying so. We are staying at surfsand and the place is steps away. Was able to get beer, boxed wine, foam cooler, in addition to the other necessities. One guy helped me with the cooler and wine, and the shop keep guy chatted me up, called another customer by name while he checked out, told me he'd be there till 11 or later and just knock on the window if the light was on after hours if we need anything. Then he told me about the open container law here, just so you aren't on any kind of wheels, you can wander around town with your drink in hand. The only problem was the line forming behind me as the guy chatted. Super friendly and convenient. I spent $50, paid with cc, he reminded me to buy ice, etc. Products here do cost more than Target. If you want the cost of Target, shop there before you travel out to Cannon Beach. If you flew to Portland like we did and wanted to get to the beach ASAP, then TFM will stock you up with utter convenience and charm! In fact I'm going to go back there when I get done with this review to maybe buy a kite or lighter fluid or craft beer or beef jerky just because i can. And Gary or whatever his name is can continue telling me the story about the drunk guy that got off the bus that the cops wouldn't do anything about because he wasn't breaking any laws and Cannon Beach doesn't have a drunk tank. Not sure how it ended, I kind of backed my way out of the store during his story when he was ringing up the next person. read more

One of the few Kwik-E-Marts I spotted in Cannon Beach, this place stocks pretty much what you'd expect at a convenience store. The super friendly and helpful shopkeeper makes this place worthy of an above-average rating, though! read more

I was disappointed in the store. I needed some items before it opened, hoping that we could get a coffee and a danish and head to the beach for sunrise. Upon returning, the four parking stalls were full and that was inconvenient. Lastly the man behind the counter was not friendly at all. I won't be stopping there again. read more
