According to the pack of questionable-looking guys who came to move me, they are subcontracted by MiniMovers and, "hey, this is just a side hustle for us." Wow, where do I begin... Let's start with, they cancelled on me about 45 minutes before the expected time. Moved me to the next day. Thankfully I could accommodate but I had already taken the afternoon off from my new job. I'll spare you all the details but here's just a few things; no contact with me until I texted them all morning for an ETA; came late with stuff in the truck from another move; brought five guys and yet it still took them 6 hours to move our furniture (no boxes, just disassembled bedroom furniture and half a garage of other furniture); they waited until they were at my new place to discuss money and the fact that they only take cash, and since I was planning on using a credit card, they immediately started threatening to take my stuff back to my apartment and dump it and "take their losses," I believe that's called extortion. I scraped together as much cash as I could and then while my brother went to the ATM, they actually stopped working. They would not move a muscle until they got their total amount. And when they started working again, they tried to steal one of our TV's. There's more but I'll just leave this here. I find many movers to be a blessing in my life they took care of my stuff they treated me with respect respected what I asked them to do and help me , I recommend them highly they're well polite well mannered and they're willing to work with you they work hard you asked them to do something for you they do it help you like set up a bed , they've been a blessing in my life so anybody out there that needs a good moving company many movers are the best especially when you're on a fixed income or you're poor and you can't afford to move they will help you they help me in the need when I needed them I am blessed to know them and I thank them from the bottom of my heart may God bless them 10 times back thank you Ms Judy Jackson . read more

They helped me move my mom, very polite young men and were very personable to work with. made a very stressful time much easier.

The movers were not careful with my items. I had a box labeled FRAGILE and items in that box were broken. I was told unless Mini Movers pack the box that items in the box are not guaranteed not to be broken. What part of Fragile was not understood? Also, a handle was broken on my dining room hutch that is over 50 years old. The most ridiculous placement of furniture was the placement of my chest of doors in my clothes closet in my bedroom!!! I will not recommend these movers to anyone!!! read more

Highly unprofessional. I received an email from them after asking for information and the guy said I was ignorant and also said "no wonder you're in the shape you're in." All I did was ask if they could move me on such short notice because we had a friend cancel at the last minute. I was shocked. I don't recommend them. If he treated me that way through email then I can only imagine how my stuff would have been treated during moving. read more

We hired Mini-Movers for our move from Sioux Falls to Orange County, California. The men were extremely fast loading our furniture onto their truck (less than 4 hours for a 3 bedroom house) and arrived in California within our requested timeframe. They were kind, professional and reliable. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because our stainless steel washing machines got scraped pretty badly during the move (in addition to minor cosmetic scuffs on some of our wooden furniture). Scheduled with them one week before our move. The day before our move they called and said that they were moving our appointment up 1.5 hours because they had another move they had to load for. Since my appointment was not that important to them, I ended up calling Movin' On Out and was able to move us around our schedules. We were trying to save money when we moved and thought they had a great option of packing ourselves and getting our own truck. We paid Mini Movers to load the truck for us. They were about an hour late and left a half hour early (from the time we were quoted) and several of our items were ruined because of the way they loaded the truck, including our dining room table (which we had to fix ourselves by buying lumber and replacing broken pieces), a zebra, vinyl covered stool from Hobby Lobby, and a mirror. Other boxes were crushed. They were in too big of a hurry to get to their next job. They offer no insurance unless you pay for them to transport your belongings and Penske only offers insurance in the event of an accident so we were just out of luck... read more

mini-movers have moved me several times. they are polite and professional and do an excellent job. i would hire them again!!

These guys were great. They showed up on time and were extremely friendly. Shook hands and introduced themselves. They had me show them around and asked what I would like them to take. I told them boxes that were fragile and they had no problems taking a little extra care. They always asked questions if they weren't sure about something. All of their equipment was very clean and left no marks on the carpet. Only reason i didn't give five stars is they said they could take my TVs (3 in total 2 32" and a 55") but they said they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't get broken so I told them I would move them myself. Also, they gave me an estimate with a timeframe of 3.5 hours. My boyfriend and I moved ALL boxes ourselves which cut the move to an hour and a half. The main guy asked if we got an estimate and I told him we were told for approx. 3.5 hours to move everything would be $400. They still charged us $400 even though they only took 1.5 hours. The owner us the biggest jerk I've ever know and surprised they have been in business longer than a year. They ruined 2 pieces of my furniture and because we were moving ourselves they said it was out fault. I'm not the one who dragged my futniture across the ground to cause marks and chips. BUT THE OWNER SAYS IT WAS MY FAULT! Possibly taking to court. read more
