They told us we would have 3 movers at $45/hr per mover and gave us a maximum estimate of $300 for our 2 bed/2 bath apartment, which seemed reasonable. The day of our move, instead of 3 movers, there were 4. The entire time, under my supervision, I felt like I was watching 4 bulls handle our belongings. In less than 3 hours, they managed to rip our mattress, shatter our irreplaceable lampshade, break one of the drawers in our dresser and scratch our dining room table. The lead mover gave us $45 off to cover the lampshade, which was an estimate he made off the top of his head. Our balance due was over $100 over the initial estimate. We called the company after the movers left to complain and they asked us to send photos of the damage. We did. They never contacted us again. This company is ridiculous. There's no service agreement. There are no guarantees. And they should have never gotten our business.

Packed multiple rooms in the same box. Final price was $1800 more and said we didn't show them everything despite them walking through the house. Destroyed our Murphy Bed and didn't want to replace it. The owner did not contact us to discuss the bed. I called him a day and a half later. After a lengthy discussion and mentioning an attorney they finally agreed to replace it and install it. This after we specifically asked them if they could handle it.

On the day I was supposed to move, I was informed that I had accidentally been booked for a Sunday--even though the company does not work on Sundays--and that my move would have to be pushed to the following day. As a single mom, I had carefully planned my move, my time, and the cleaning of my old apartment around the scheduled moving date. Their failure to show up didn't just inconvenience me for a few hours. Having my move pushed back meant I also lost the time I had set aside to finish cleaning the apartment I was leaving. Ultimately, I lost my security deposit. That is why this was such a major issue for me. When you hire and schedule movers, you are relying on them to show up on the agreed-upon date. Other deadlines and responsibilities are often tied directly to that schedule, and a company's mistake can have real financial consequences for the customer. To their credit, they apologized multiple times and did refund my $50. However, it took more than a week for me to receive the refund. I appreciate the apologies and the fact that my money was eventually returned, but a $50 refund doesn't undo the disruption or the financial loss their scheduling mistake contributed to. I'm sharing my experience because other people deserve to know what happened before trusting a company with something as time-sensitive as a move. Mistakes happen, but reliability matters enormously in this business. Unfortunately, when I needed them to show up as scheduled, they didn't.

I left 3 messages within 48 hours of my move about the damages and "they didn't get them". Now they are calling me a liar because I filed a claim with BBB. Be prepared if you do use them to follow them all over your house to see how much they are on their phones since they take photos in your home without your knowledge. According to the owner. The gentlemen that helped me worked hard and were very friendly, I just would maybe been I formed of these items being damaged before finding them hidden like a little kid did it. Also one of the hottest days in South Dakota this summer so I made sure they had cold drinks and asked if they wanted lunch my treat. And I am a liar.
