Mini Social is an amazing space for all kinds of events. I couldn't imagine a better team to make a vision a reality than Luke, Jessica, and Jakki. It's hard to list out all the reasons I love Mini Social: the event space itself, the customization that's possible, the location in Old Town Scottsdale, the kitchen, the storage space in the back, the lighting, 2 bathrooms inside, and all the options with the furniture (tables, chairs, couch, coffee table, etc) are all 10/10. Beyond this though, the team behind Mini Social is what stands out at the top of my list - they are truly so unmatched. You won't meet people more committed to making your event magical. While many people use Mini Social for private parties, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events, etc, my experience has been with hosting craft socials for women's community events. I felt so supported by the team and got so much help from them in customizing the setup for my needs, plenty of time for setup and cleanup, and epic communication. They are absolute pros! Jessica is super talented when it comes to design elements, florals, balloons, etc. I feel like planning and hosting events can be so stressful and there are so many moving elements. Our organization has held multiple venues at the Mini Social. The space is always clean, well and I never have to do anything with chairs because Luke takes care of that. The bathrooms are very clean. Both of them in the kitchen area is always recommend the Mini Social Arizona Mad Mom Twila Lake. read more

Mini Social hosted our daughter's baby shower on Saturday 6/27 and it was the perfect venue! Prior to and during the event, they were so great to work with. Very responsive to any and all questions, very quick to communicate, very clear with the details and what was needed from us. When we arrived for the shower, Mini Social was decorated beautifully....tables, chairs, linens, table runners, the very fun champagne wall, mimosa bar, and balloon garland extraordinaire! I rented this venue to hold a rehearsal dinner / welcome party for my son's wedding. Luke and Tess were outstanding to work with! The venue was perfect for our event. I was able to hire them to help with some of the table scape (flowers/linens), they helped me find serving help and bartending. I wish I could give TEN STARS! This little gem is the perfect event space for just about anything, it's so multi functional. I don't have a ton of pics of the space but it's BEAUTIFUL! We used it for our one year old's first birthday and it couldn't have gone better. Amazing communication with the owners, easy loading and unloading, great tips for setup on their wall types (what sticks best to the brick, etc), and being accessible during the event if we needed anything. This venue is incredible!! The staff is so kind. Lane helped me unload my car and get setup before a big networking brunch I was hosting for creative entrepreneurs. All the tables were setup perfectly for our group, and it had everything I needed for setup! Can't say enough good things about my experience working with Luke & Jess from Mini Social. I wanted a venue for my baby shower that gave the feel of being in a living space with my friends and family without having to host it at my own place & do all the cleanup. MS was PERFECT! We provided our own games in the lounge seating areas (not pictured here but you can find on their website) and ppl moved about freely from eating at the tables, to getting drinks at the drink station, to playing games, to mingling throughout the venue. Jessica is a wizard with decor and I provided my colors and a few inspo pics and she pretty much did the rest without me having to worry about a thing! If you are someone who likes short reviews, I'll make it concise and simply say: this is ABSOLUTELY the best wedding venue around. Jessica and Luke make wedding planning a breeze, and I would recommend this venue and these people to anyone looking for any type of venue, but especially a wedding. If you are someone who, like me, appreciates a more detailed review, read on, although I'm sure I'll still forget to mention some of the ways Jessica and Luke went out of their way to provide us a PERFECT wedding experience. Knowing I wasn't going to spent $20 grand on a single day, I found a few "blank canvas" spots on PeerSpace. I toured 3-4 similar spaces (all of which were less impressive and more expensive than MiniSocialAZ, BTW) before connecting with Jessica. Before our conversation, I was overwhelmed, frustrated, and intimidated by the amount of planning it would take if I went with an open canvas venue. I had zero desire to coordinate a bunch of vendors, rent furniture, order a bunch of stuff from Etsy, etc. Immediately upon speaking with Jessica, I saw the full vision of what MiniSocialAZ offers. We discussed options, add-ons, etc. and when I hung up, I was actually EXCITED for the wedding planning process for the first time. The physical space of this venue is gorgeous and modern. It offers a primarily white, clean, open look with lots of natural lighting. The layout offers much flexibility in how you'd want to set up your event. We ordered many add on services, and THIS is where I felt MiniSocialAZ so far exceeded any "competing" venues I'd looked at or spoken with. The first add-on event I'd recommend is the décor assistance. While I did order a few decorations from Amazon and Pinterest, the majority of my decorations were created personally by Jessica. Jessica and Luke set up for our wedding. They were kind enough to let us drop off our décor in advance so we were not lugging a bunch of stuff around on our wedding day. We did not provide specifics. We simply dropped everything off, provided a few inspiration pics, and trusted their vision. They provided everything we needed and saved us the time/money/effort of coordinating yet another vendor- chairs, tables, accent pieces, hexagon/arch, mood lighting, etc. We ordered the dessert table decorations, and it was gorgeous! We added on the arch for the ceremony itself, and then we doubled it as our photo backdrop during the ceremony. When we arrived, we got to experience the "holy cow, this looks amazing!!!" surprise feeling seeing it all set up for the first time. Jessica was the owner who was personally present from start to finish at our event, so a lot of this review will focus on her, but Luke was present for our initial tour, set up, when we picked up our décor, etc. and I have zero doubt he would've been just as amazing every step of the way had he been the owner to attend our event. Jessica also handled all florals (centerpieces, bouquet, boutonniere, floral decorations), which was another vendor I didn't have to coordinate separately. She introduced me to flowers I'd never even heard of but became my favorite upon seeing them. Several times throughout the planning process, I'd realize I needed something we hadn't discussed (welcome sign, meal/beverage sign), and Jessica immediately got on creating it. MinisocialAZ creating these items saved me shipping time and costs from sites like Etsy. We also got the drink station (we had a few kids and non-drinkers) and bartending services, and let me tell you, Jessica KILLED it in this area as well. They provided choices and let us choose two specialty cocktails, for which they provided all necessary items, garnishes, etc. All of our guests raved about the custom cocktails and I've spent more time than I'd like to admit craving both drinks she created. Their communication was TOP NOTCH, including random times when I'd text from the wine store asking about what brand of flavored vodka to get and I'd receive immediate texts back. Jessica also suggested I give the caterers her number so she could assist with any issues on the wedding day itself. We returned to the venue the day after our wedding, fully expecting to spend significant time boxing everything up, but as usual, they exceeded our expectations and had everything fully cleaned, packed, and ready for us to load into our vehicles (although they then helped with that also). If I could boil this review down to a single sentence, it would be that Jessica and Luke CARE about your experience. While this is obviously their business, it is also very clearly their passion, and it's evident upon meeting them that they are just genuinely amazing people who excel in customer service and truly want you to have the best experience possible if you wisely choose their space for your event.
