When I moved back to Michigan last year I had the darnedest time trying to find a reasonably priced storage unit. Any thing remotely close to the city was freakin' double compared to what you would pay further out. I stopped by a location on Eight Mile Road to price a 5 room unit. !$300! dollars a month! WTH?!? My Mom told me to try some locations in Livonia. I came across Mini U-Storage that was the most reasonable for $169 month. It was just enough room for what I needed to store. The staff gave me a tour on the golf cart which honestly was fun. I was able to secure a space and move my items in the same day. They offer a 10 day grace period for your payment. They send you a monthly invoice via email and you can pay your bill on line. This location is close enough to service someone living in Detroit, Southfield, Farmington and Oak Park. read more

You only want to suddenly talk because you can't take down Yelp reviews. You didn't want to talk when I got behind on my rent when I was staying with a friend after I left the abusive situation. When I begged you for more time as I was trying to get on my feet and get into an apartment. Thanks for auctioning off my furniture and everything I needed to start over because you count wait a few days to get an entire paycheck over to you so I could get my belongings out. Thanks for three years of increasing my rent and not having compassion when I needed a little more time. read more

I am a 2 year customer and satisfied with the level of customer service the company provides. The hours for access, are fair. I've not had an issue in the time I have used the facility. I have used them for my own personal belongings as well as professionally through the company I work for, not a problem. I would recommend them for your storage needs. read more

I'm outraged they let me "use" their truck then when I come back to load my stuff in a storage unit I get locked out of the gate and I have no way of contacting anyone. They told me my gate hours were 7am to 11pm but I get there and I have no access.. I m there at 6 am according to their sign to access but I'm still denied access! I'm very upset I've lost so much time and I'm sure their going to take the security deposit because I didn't turn the truck in on time. I'm so mad at this place! They are running specials on several websites. I've made a reservation but decided to call to verify the price. They informed me that they require an additional for insurance, $10 more monthly. When pressed why the quote from them hasn't stated anything about extra fee for insurance, the owner told me to write to supreme court and hang up on me. Talk about Customer Service!!!! i would not advise anybody to do business with this company running bate and switch advertising. read more
