This is a large, 3 story climate controlled storage unit complex of the kind you'd see at Storage…read moreWars. You know, long hallways with uniform and neat metal overhead doors. This location sells moving/packing supplies, has rental van/boxtrucks available, PO boxes, sells locks and even has some offices available (if setting up shop in a storage unit is your idea of a good time). There is indoor parking for your loading/unloading convenience, and access is gained via an overhead door operated by a gate code. Because of the different levels there are evelators and several carts which you can use to make hauling your stuff easier. Make sure that you abide by the opening hours which are between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, because if the alarm is set off a $250 fine will be assesed. If you don't return a cart and leave it in your unit there's $25 down the drain. If you put trash by the dumpster versus in the dumpster, $75 will be charged for illegal dumping. $10 mandatory lock purchase as you can't use your own, $20 one time administrative fee upon start of the lease and monthly $1 invoice cost if you opt for paper bills (you can opt out of this!). Be sure to pay on time because there is a tiered fee structure for that, too. They seem to be fee happy here so just make sure you read the rules and regulations and use common sense and you should be good, I think they are just deterrents for potential unreasonable folk. I'm no saint, but I don't foresee any fees in my future so I'm pretty happy so far. Ironically even with abovementioned charge for a lock and administrative fees, the cost for a climate controlled unit is very reasonable. Due to the nature of what we are storing climate control is a must, and I was happy to hear the quoted costs in comparison to some other facilities in the Metro Detroit area. One gripe is that 2/3rds of the carts were tied up with packages destined to be picked up by FedEx by one of the businesses renting an officebox. When inquired about this with management we were told it is a regular, normal occurence. When a hand pallet jack is available, is it too much to ask to pack shipments on a reusable wooden pallet for the sake of consideration for the other several hundred tenants in the building?

We Care Movers did an amazing job helping us move out of our 4 bedroom home. From start to finish,…read morethey were reliable and professional. We had 3 movers on day 1 (Darnell, Ray, & Sean). They were fantastic and worked fast for 10 hours straight without a single complaint or hint of a bad attitude. It's not often anymore that you get such impeccable service and feel you "got what you paid for". Moving rates were reasonable. I do think the scheduling office underestimated the size of the move, so it did take more trips than expected, but the job was still completed in a timely fashion. I think this is because they don't actually come out to view the items you have prior to giving an approximate amount of moving time. These guys worked HARD for us and I would recommend them again in a heartbeat! Thanks for all you do. Michelle Adzigian

It took them a month and a half to deliver our belongings. We were never told that we were going to be sharing a truck with others. Our belongings sat in a warehouse in Florida for almost a month. They broke or damaged most of our belongings, and some belongings were missing. We filed a claim and were offered under $200. We declined the offer. We even shipped our car through them and the driver told me he went through a tornado in Arkansas. There was extensive damage to the exterior of our car.

A thorough review of the contents to be moved versus the cursory review by competitors. 2.A competitive price. 3.Our things were moved in dedicated trucks and not mixed in with other people's stuff. 4. Honestly about damages: a table literally fell apart during packing and the crew pointed it out to me rather than concealing it. 5. No high pressure sales tactics. 6. The guys were patient with my wife repositioning furniture at the destination. 7. Nothing was broken although we had quite a few minor dings in furniture. 8. Crews showed up on time at both ends of the trip. Negatives include: 1.No formal acknowledgement of payment. They were almost offensively anxious to get the final payment even though the third and final truck had not arrived. 2. Loss of focus at the end of the day: We did a walkthrough at the end of the loading process. Every time we found something that needed to go into the truck, the guy leading the walkthrough took it out, chatted with the guys on the truck, and then we would lose our place. This resulted in a few things being left behind. At delivery, the guys took down a door to get furniture into the basement but never put it up again. They also left a moving blanket and personal items belonging to one of the guys. The items were eventually restored to their owner. 3. Not mentioning messes or problems. After the truck left I found that one of our toilets was plugged with toilet paper, paper towels, and human waste from someone that was apparently ill. Fortunately, I found the problem and was able to unplug the toilet and clean things up so this mess was not left for our cleaning crew. I think I would have responded calmly to this if I had been told about it. I can appreciate that it would have been embarrassing to report this to me. I'm human too.

My bed was not put together, my box springs is in the garage because they couldn't get it up the stairs claiming the hallway was too narrow. For the money that All Sons Moving Company charge, do not use them...you will be disappointed.

The top of my long dresser with mirror had the finish scraped off the entire length of the top. The tall dresser was scraped around the corners/sides, and then when they reassembled my platform bed, they over torqued the screw and splintered the frame. I will not be able to move this piece again without further damage to the frame! Pink Zebra's policy is that only $60/+100lb piece of furniture will be refunded which is only 6% of the price of this set -- absolutely not worth it. To make matters worse, the movers scraped the walls in both the location I moved from and to! There were complications in Pink Zebra scheduling a drywaller, so the manager, Avery, with no professional drywalling experience himself came and did a pretty awful drywall and paint job. He didn't even use a roller, only a brush so the paint looks very uneven, and you can still see the wall is uneven where it was scraped. The manager Avery did not stick around to see the job done right. The two movers wrapped one piece of furniture while he was there and didn't bother with protecting the rest of my furniture after he left. They only used the door protectors on the first house entrance and not the second. Since Avery was not there for the remainder of the move, the movers did not do a walk through with me and left as soon as I was told they were done. Lastly, they never updated my credit card charge to reflect the entire bill and Avery noticed 8 weeks after the completion of my move! Here I thought maybe since they gave me such a bad experience that they just would rather eat the cost -- nope. Do not use this company. I've moved 8 times in my life and have never had an experience this bad before. If I wanted to destroy the drywall of a brand new build and ruin my furniture, my partner and I would have moved this ourselves.

Patriot Moving Systems caught my attention so I called them to get more information. I talked with Dennis to get answers to my questions. He told me they are full service, meaning they will pack as well as move your household contents. You also have the option to do your own packing. One place I called pretty much only loads and moves your stuff so you have to do your own packing. Patriot sells boxes and packing materials but also suggested Home Depot or Lowe's but said he actually prefers and recommends getting these from U-Haul as he thinks theirs are better quality and sturdier. What I like is the way Dennis explained our options without overly promoting materials through Patriot. He also explained the rates for their services. Basically it is an hourly rate per person plus a trip charge and cost of the truck usage. He came out and walked through or house and then was able to give us a rough estimate of the number of hours we would likely need. We planned to use a staging company so we needed to pack some things to thin out certain areas like closets and kitchen countertops. So we arranged for Patriot to send out three people to box and move things into the garage for three hours and that was a big help. They were focused and hard working guys who went practically non-stop for the time scheduled. Whenever there was a question about packing certain items they asked about it. I could tell that they all knew what they were doing, their experience showed and they treated our things as if they were theirs. Delicate items were wrapped well for protection. Our move is currently on hold as we continue to pursue selling our home but Dennis checks in with me periodically to see how things are going. I will update this review once we actually complete our move but we know who we trust with packing and moving our property.
