I feel bad for writing this average review. I realize this is a family business and I want to…read moresupport them. However, I can't help but be disappointed. My fridge was making a whining sound from the back and it had stopped working. I called for an appointment. Indeed, the website states $49 for a trip and diagnostic fee. And that's exactly what he did. He came out, rolled out my fridge, unscrewed three screws, and said yep...your compressor's out. Buy a new fridge. Total time - 2 minutes max. All that for $49. Now that would be fine except I can't help but compare it this business to my water heater repair man. This guy came out on a weekend and spent two hours trying to fix my water heater. When he couldn't, he REFUSED to charge me because he couldn't fix it. He recommended I replace it, which I did. He came back with a new heater, replaced it while I was gone at work, and didn't even ask for labor charges (probably built into the margin of the heater). But when I looked online, he didn't even charge me anything more than other retailers for the heater. I felt AWESOME after that experience, feeling like I found a great deal. Not in this situation. I felt crappy, paying a dude $50 to unscrew three screws when I could have done it.

We made an appointment for Tuesday morning. Pat arrived on time and after diagnosing the problem gave me a price which matched his phone price from Monday evening. The refrigerator was fixed shortly and is now running fine. I couldn't be happier with his honesty and good service. I will highly recommend him to my friends. Dan H.

No call, no show twice!! Rescheduled the first missed appt. They reached out and asked to…read morereschedule that second appointment. I agreed they didn't show up to that appointment, Or the one I had scheduled before the rescheduled appointment nothing like waiting the four hour window. No one shows up, called multiple numbers for them. No one answers. No call back!! If you enjoy waiting around for someone not to show up schedule with these people.!!! Zero stars!!! The name under the account was Anubha...I have text, saying appt change no response back. I'd be happy to share.

I almost never leave reviews, however I feel this is a case where it is warranted. I mentioned that we didn't need an emergency visit and he fit me in his schedule for the next morning, quoting $175 for the service call. After diagnosing an electrical short in the contactor, he left to pick up a replacement part, and finished the job that same day. At no point, before or during the repair, was I given a total cost estimate outside of the initial $175 or a chance to approve the total job amount prior to completion. It was shocking, then, that the final invoice came out to $800: a $175 diagnostic fee, two hours of labor at $175/hour, and a $275 charge for a part (contactor) that retails for $50 or less. In addition, I wasn't given an invoice upon completion of the job, but rather I had to ask for it twice afterward. If any part of this review gives you pause, I'd consider taking your business elsewhere.
