The second was soup - and it was served cold! That was a disappointing start to the meal. Singapore style chili crab, while the most expensive (almost 3k for a kilo of shriveled crab), tasted average and wasn't very flavorful. The buchi balls smelled bad off the fryer. But they did quite well on cha misua, fried lapu-lapu, and Peking duck that we ordered. Service is always good, but the kitchen can be very slow to serve. A little on the pricey side, but Cebuanos now have little choice for Chinese seafood restaurants since Choi closed too. Tao Yuan is probably the best from the Manila imports.

We always get the shrimp dumplings and the soup dumplings. Dip them in chili sauce and wow! Delicious! The seafood is always fresh. They have live fish, lobster, and even eel that you can pick from outside. May not be a good idea for animal lovers though or for anyone not into that sort of thing, i mean seeing that their meal was alive just a few minutes ago. But anyway, their food is really flavorful. And from what i hear, chefs are really from places such as hongkong etc and so the taste they put into their food is really authentic chinese. Even when we were ordering our food, it was disappointing since they didn't have three different dishes that we wanted to try. We ended up opting for the siu mai, shrimp rice rolls, bbq pork buns, and wonton noodle soup. The bbq pork bun was great. The rest of the food was worse than mediocre and as a comparison, I've had much better dim sum in Vancouver and Toronto. They didn't offer any hot tea with our meal which is interesting since dim sum translates to "yum cha" in Cantonese which literally translates to "drink tea". They didn't even offer water. The service was not good since there was no service. This was my last meal before I got crazy food poisoning that lasted several days. I can only suspect that something was bad in their food which made me feel extremely sick several hours later.
