They have tons of coffee and tea options as well as baked goods and hot food of the day items (quiche, frittata, etc). They also do beer and wine and had a solid tap selection. I had the dovetail latte and my friend had an iced vanilla latte and we both loved our coffees. They also have a small craft and trinket section from local sellers which was so cool and made the space feel so homey. It was so good we ended up doing back later that weekend as well. I didn't realize they had three locations and it probably would have been more convenient to go to the Lincoln Park bakery but alas I found myself on the Superior side. Grateful though as parking here was easy, it wasn't crowded, but you can tell it's a local hot spot. They offer tons of cute activities for the community and have plenty of seating for you to enjoy your baked goods! I got the pizza danish, a caramel roll, and a crunchy munchkin cookie. The pizza danish was really good! Super interesting balance of herbs, pepperoni and cheese on a fluffy danish. I think it would have been better slightly toasted but that might have changed the danish to not be as soft. The caramel roll was absolutely AMAZING. Probably the best caramel roll I've ever had to be honest, I don't usually like walnuts but it was a really great balance to the super soft and fluffy roll. Usually I find caramel rolls to get too hard but it wasn't at all even after eating it a few hours after I purchased it - so delicious, I might get another on my way out of town! The cookie was my least favorite - it was more like a shortbread cookie, a bit flavorless and just buttery and a bit dry.

Pecan rolls were very good but coffee nothing to speak of- downside was barista. She was only worker and away from counter when we arrived for about five minutes. She left a note. So we waited. She was a bit abrupt. She controlled the half and half and wouldn't let me touch container and she determined what quantity was needed. Later, as we ate our roll, she attempted to place a blackboard above a cooler. She failed, it fell on her head and knocked coffee supplies to the floor. Another customer checked in on her, asking if she was ok. She replied she was fine. Customer then said that what she had done wasn't safe to which barrister responded that her commentary wasn't welcome. If I come back I hope she's having a better day and has a more pleasant demeanor.

I've enjoyed coming here periodically over the past couple years, attending community events like their anniversary celebrations (free cake and great music!) and visiting the cats. The coffee is also top notch, with a varied menu of creative drinks and even seasonal flights. I adopted my two kitties, Bailey and Bixby, from the cafe a few months after the opening. Not only have they been amazing additions to my family who are well socialized from their time at the cafe, but I've been really impressed by the staff's continued interest in their wellbeing. I've been offered tips as a new cat mom and often get asked how they're doing when I stop by the cafe. Now that we are moving out of town, Misha and Leila even made time to stop by to see the cats and say goodbye to them before they leave. What a great small business that plays a big role in making Duluth an amazing place to live.
