To me, one of the hallmarks of a good contractor is good communication. This is often a skill that is lacking. The owner, Todd LIndgren, always answered my texts, calls, and emails promptly and kept me informed about my project. This alone, makes him stand out in the contractor world. The project was completed in one day, not long after I signed the contract. This too is a rare circumstance in the roofing world. I was very happy with the work done and that Todd came to the worksite to check on the progress during and after the roof installation. When he noticed that a rain diverter had not been added (as discussed), he had someone come back and add the missing diverter the next day. I recommend ARK based on my experience and felt that they did a quality job, promptly, and at a good price. 7/19/25. Mathew Hogan from Experienced Builders asked to inspect my roof after a hail storm in…read moreOlivia MN. He quickly surmised that the house suffered hail damage. He was top notch to deal with and was there when the State Farm adjuster showed up for the inspection. He coordinated everything about the re-roofing and was there on Saturday all day until the crew was finished. We walked the site and all work was excellent when completed, with attention to details such as 50 year shingles, top end roof vents adding ice and water around the vents and up beyond eves, clean up including tarps to check debris. He inspected the sub roof on both house and detached garage. He arranged for all materials delivered to site and the dumpster to haul out debris. My tenant complained about the roofing crew dropping a bundle of shingles on the roof and leaving a few nails (I believe it woke him up, but he was informed of the activity ahead of time). I am the owner and the landlord. Matthew and his crew were totally professional throughout the process, including one roofing member hopping into action after I open the garage doors and he saw some chips on the floor; immediately took action and blew it out. I have extensive experience in construction both with extensive home remodels myself, contractors building 2 of my homes and doing roofing jobs myself. I am now in the process of working with Mathew Hogan and Experienced Builders to re-side the same house and garage. From time of the quote to time of service was, I think unheard of, 5 days! We purchased a property fall of 2021, and it had at least a dozen 70â to 80â trees and half of them were branching out over the house and leaning towards the house. Two weeks after we closed on it a huge branch fell on the outside boiler, which we then were unable to use for the winter. Since then we had been looking for an affordable and safe way to remove the trees from around the house. After months of searching and extraordinary price quotes we were recommended to Chris and his team. We called for a quote and unexpectedly he was able to be there the same day for it! Then came back the next day with a co-worker to double check how to do it safe and affordable for us. The quote ended up being over less than half of all the other quotes we had been given! Not only that but he then said he and his crew could be there and start with in 5 days, our minds were blown! They were fast safe and clean. We told them we just wanted the trees down and weâ d take care of the rest. They went above and beyond by chunking it up and making nice piles!
