When I told the owner Travis, the jamb I was in, he went out of his way to bring his crew to my place ASAP and they did a 14 hour day to get them all planted. They were literally working by spot lights in the dark to get done. Travis kept me informed throughout the day and made sure I was good with spacing and backfilling and mulching along the way. What happened? At first he told me "I forgot". Not very professional. I asked him to come out and do it. He said he would. Then he called back about 10 minutes later saying he didn't realize how far away I was and decided not to do it after he said no problem. I asked him to send back the check. So, with no notice, he left us hi and dry to shovel ourselves. My wife and I are in our 70's We are not as strong as we once were and need help. But Andy Olson, who I assume is AOK, just decided he didn't want to do it, AFTER the snow fall. AND - I still haven't gotten the check back. It's nice somebody had a good experience with them. The tree was leaning awkwardly between our pool and fence, so it required skill and precision. Jason and his team handled the felling expertly and brought the tree down safely without any issues. Their price was very fair, which we especially appreciated since we had just moved and needed the job done safely but as affordably as possible. We only needed the tree taken down and chose not to pay for debris removal, and they were great about placing the debris exactly where we asked so we could handle it ourselves after it is seasoned. For no additional charge he then re-seeded with some seed we had already selected and purchased. It was our first time working with him. He gave us a very fair price and delivered a lot of hard work. I would add he came on a Sunday because it was a convenient time for us. We discussed his other services and will probably have him back for various lawn treatments as well as consider him for snow removal. We consider JD a great find. He deserves more customers. We heard about him from several recommendations on the NextDoor app. JD told us his area of service is a 10 mile radius around his house in Roseville. That being his service area, how can someone from NY, NY be allowed to leave a one-star review that says nothing except someone was rude to her? Heck, I grew up in NY and if someone was rude to her that's actually par for the course out there. Anyway, the chances that her JD was the same as this JD working in that area is about zero.
