My former PCP was Dr. Laccheo, and my review will be from that perspective. I will begin this review by saying that his front desk assistant/secretary/what have you is the most pretentious and rude person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Even the other staff in the office are ready and willing to admit the same, so long as she is not within earshot. She alone is a reason not to deal with Dr. Laccheo. Dr. Laccheo himself, unfortunately, is equally pretentious though emulates an air of class to a certain degree. He knows his stuff medically, even if he thinks bragging about a cruise passage club is worthy of anyone's time. To your dismay he will rush through your appointment making you feel as if you are wasting his time by asking important questions. The nurses/room assistants/what have you are kind on an inconsistent basis, but when compared to their coworkers they are heaven sent. I have nothing further to say in those regards. Beware of coming here for any injuries that could result in litigation. My insurance revoked all my payments due to litigation that arose, and the office agreed to allow me to hold off on payment until the litigation had been resolved. Well, I then received official threat letters months later stating they'd turn me over to their attorney if I didn't pay. Luckily I have no income, and they listed the cause of my injury incorrectly. Having mentioned they listed my injury incorrectly on an intent letter, I would beg you to question their competency in any regard to handling your medical needs. They don't even know how to reference their own files to ensure accuracy of threats, let alone treat you appropriately. Upon all litigation being handled they will be paid, and I advise them to cease and desist in all forms of harassment over the verbal agreement they decided to break regarding payment. I have not received any formal contact from them since the aforementioned letter. read more

I chose to go here based on my husband's past - good - experiences. He claimed he likes them better than the Stormont Vail Walk In Clinics around town. Went in with what I thought was a bronchial infection. Had to wait an HOUR before I was seen. (I'd expect this of a normal doctor's office but not a clinic.) Miserable and uncomfortable, when they finally took me back, I didn't have to wait too long to actually see a human. The PA who stepped in seemed annoyed to have to see me and didn't really want to hear the answers to his questions. He was on to the next one before I could think through my answer and I felt like he was treating me like just some dope off the street who wanted antibiotics. (I'm not one for drugs if I don't really need them... I'd rather let my body heal itself, but he never really let me say so.) He promptly prescribed me some popular antibiotics and basically kicked me out. I left without knowing what was generally wrong with me and feeling a bit ashamed that I'd bothered them at all. I will think long and hard about ever going here again. It just wasn't a pleasant experience and ultimately, I ended up going to my regular doc, sicker than ever before, 4 days later. They switched the AB and gave me a cough suppressant and I was hugely improved within 24 hours. It was probably a bronchial infection - but more likely pneumonia. Whether or not that's Minor Med's poor choice of drug, I don't know but they've lost my trust. They seemed cold and impatient. read more

I have usually had a good experience with the Male doctor here, very professional and made you feel comfortable. However, this time my visit seemed kind of rushed and I didn't really feel the diagnosis was done with accuracy, but more so felt "upsold" on services I didn't need perhaps and got a poorly wrapped splint around my hand and wasn't given any replacement splints for future use... As I was leaving the ladies at the front were rude in their response, to my seeming dumb question (since I don't work their like they do). I don't think I will be returning to this one. I would rather try my luck at a better rated business around town or call and ask for the Male Doctor if I were to go. read more

I thought it was an injustice (to put it mildly) for the one review of Minor Med (of all places!) to be one star. That is just wrong. My wife has hyperemesis gravidarum, which is a rare and horrific condition during pregnancy. Dr. Iliff at Minor Med couldn't have been nicer, or more willing to listen and answer questions. We have dealt with this problem at many clinics and in three separate states, and no one has come close to Dr. Iliff in terms of his genuine concern, his knowledge of the subject, and his willingness to take the time we needed to get our questions answered. We plan to move our entire family over to Dr. Iliff. Easiest decision we ever made. read more

I'm at my LAST appointment with them. I see Doctor Iliff. My appointment was supposed to be at 11:20. It's now 11:55 and still in the waiting area. I just recently moved to the KC area so since I haven't found a new doctor closer to home yet, im here for a medication check up(to get a new prescription). The doctor will only take 2 minutes to see me, yet I'm waiting for nearly 40. I'm driving a total of 3 hours for this appointment. If you're not a patient person, I definitely suggest not going here. read more

Dr. Illif is a cock. I went to see Dr. Illif for a follow up after being discharged from the hospital after a car accident in which I broke my spine and a hip. After 2 months I was still unable to move hardly at all due to severe nerve damage. After no real exam he told me I was "addicted to pain killers" and took me off of all pain meds and muscle relaxers. Needless to say that was NOT the answer. I went elsewhere to get re-evaluated only to find out that I still had a severe fracture in my spine which was not healing properly. read more

Even though I was there when it opened, it still took a good 20-30 minutes to be seen for a physical (which itself was rushed with no bedside manner). Upon check out, I was completely shocked by the sticker price! I had been told $55 for a physical previously over the phone, but apparently, a teacher physical is a lot more than that, even with my insurance! NOT a happy camper! read more

I had a doctor visit here back in March of 2008 for pneumonia and just had another visit with them in January 2017 for pneumonia. Both times my pneumonia was so bad that I wished I would die but they prescribed medications that relieved my symptoms quickly and gave me hope to carry on again. The staff were polite and professional and the two different doctors that saw me were some of the best doctors I have every met in my life. read more

Absolutely unacceptable. Not only did I have to wait for an hour in the waiting room to see a doctor, but when it was finally my turn the receptionist told me that there was a small bill that went to collections and they could not see me today. I have pink eye... it is extremely painful and it inhibits my ability to drive. That however matters not apparently, the only thing that does matter to them is their money, helping people in need seems to be last on their priority list. I will be telling everyone and strongly discouraging visits to their "clinic". read more
