Great options from sardines and smoked mackerel(Tik Tok trend!) to garlicky Korean carrots and Napoleon cake that you must try!!! Take your time to walk up and down the aisles and don't be scared to grab something that looks "unusual" in American culture. You will be happily surprised!! Grab one of each candy, a jar of marinated tomatoes, some frozen pierogis...etc and have a fun night with friends trying new treats. Stop by the deli counter yet and get some cheeses and meats for a charcuterie board! Don't be put off by the lack of customer service, they are busy stocking and ringing up customers. They have a fairly strong selection of eastern European products, some things here that I have not seen at Paradise Market. The service can be a bit hectic though, they seem to struggle when there's higher foot traffic. read more

The owner of this grocery is very mindful about what he puts on his shelves. If you're looking for food that have no vegetable or palm oil in it, this is the place to go. He's very aware of quality ingredients. The store is stocked with very nice vegetables and dairy. There's a wide selection of condiments, pickles, frozen foods, drinks, sweets and so much more. The meat is wonderful as is the baked goods. I love going into this store. I feel a little less guilty buying candies and chocolate for my kids, knowing that there is nothing nasty ingredients in them. I really recommend this store. read more

Very well stocked market full of hard to find salamis, smoked sausages, smoked fish, caviar (2oz sturgeon for $55!!) and cheeses. Their Doktorskaya bologna is the best bologna I've ever had. They have a huge variety of pickled vegetables and vegetable mixes; soup mixes, condiments and excellent sour pickles. If you want dairy they have kefir, sour creams, butter, hard to find cheeses in individual sizes- all European. Tons of frozen products- dumplings, ready to bake entrees and snacks. Their lamb pelmeni are very good. Russian candy? A huge aisle. Beautiful pastry case too. I found their prices unbelievably low across the board. The staff was very helpful and familiar with the products. I could spend hours here. read more

This place has amazing salami. I tasted a piece of Hungarian Salami which had a great flavor- almost a hint of wine to it. Lovely little market over by the Eagan Outlets. Lovely little European grocery with some great meats and cheeses. read more

My new favorite hidden gem! I stopped in after waiting in the DMV line for over an hour. I'm glad I did. I had no idea how many amazing deli meats they offer. A little bigger then a typical russian store this particular store can fill a childhood void in my heart. They sell a few types of chocolate candies that I used to eat growing up, thus I am paying 5.99 per pound for nostalgia. For the rest of the folks, they have a good selection of breads, cheeses and meats. The deli looks quite good, and we have tried an number of items from there and almost all were delicious and authentic. There is also an abundance of pickled everything. They also have a selection of good breads, something every Russian persons soul longs for. Service is typical for a russian store, never seen an american in there, so I have no idea whether they are naughty or nice when it comes to you guys. read more

They sell kofola, and sheep cheese, probably only place in minnesota you can find either. Both were excellently priced, with the kofola at 2.99 and the sheep cheese was about 12 for 2lbs. The kefir is kinda spendy, but other than that everything is good price. read more

I love this store compared to the Paradice. Only go to Minsk Market for the past year and a half! Great service fresh food and if you ever have a problem with anything they're happy to help. Love this store! If your looking for great sausage this is the place. Staff always friendly and helpful. Use to have to drive 60 miles to go to Russian markets in California. To have this so close to me is FANTASTIC! Easier to now satisfy my kvas cravings. Still learning the Russian language so I can communicate better but, that will come with time. read more

They have a very good selection and are very friendly. Unfortunately when I was there all of employees' English skills were way way beyond limited. They could not communicate with me with more than gesturing. I do not expect everyone at a Russian deli to speak perfect English, just a few phrases would be nice. This is a Russian grocery store where all customers, attendants and the owner are Russian ex-pats. The store is pretty big considering that it's in a non-urban area. Nice selection of cheeses from smoked Gouda to Yogurt cheese, cured meats (not sure what they are because I don't eat meat but some of them looked very good) and fish, 2 aisles of various candy, 20+ of cookies, several freshly prepped veggie salads, jarred veggies and jams...Minsk Market had almost all of the items I was looking for: 'tvorog' farmers cheese, 'tort' cakes (they had 10-12 kinds of russian cakes in deli section), 'seledka', natural plain 'Kefir' and 'semechki' sunflower seeds. The only thing that I couldn't find there was 'moiva' (not sure how to translate it :) The service at the deli is ok: the younger lady is very nice, the older woman is slightly grouchy. The lady at the cashier desk is the most pleasant and always smiley! read more

Very unfriendly!!! First visit and probably last. The white-haired clerk only seemed interested in visiting with patrons who spoke Russian and never even acknowledged my friend who is black. She put his purchases in a bag, took his money, put bag on counter and never spoke to him. Not even common courtesy. Food was good. read more

Whenever I visit a new city I always try to find a Russian grocery store because I get homesick and miss the language plus food. I'm thankful this store was nearby because it was exactly what I was looking for. They even had my favorite childhood snacks. My experience is coming from someone who speaks fluent Russian, but my boyfriend came with me (who doesn't speak Russian) and had a good time exploring the food with me. read more

I have been coming to this store for years now, staff is not friendly, there is never a smile or just common courtesy, i can't shake the feeling that I'm in their way. Usually I only buy few things there that can't really go bad that easy, but last time I took a risk and bought some meat products. When I got home I noticed that expiration dates on all the packages where ripped off and all the meat was spoiled, terrible smell. I love their inventory of products. Yes, my comprehension of Russian is pretty low. I can say "nyet spasiba". But I did purchase a couple of things. One is frozen "cutlet" that my Uzbek friend Natalia told me about (she was a pen pal in Soviet days). And another thing which I call a "Slavic quesa dia". Meat and onions in pastry. Love to find another East Europe deli in town after the Polish deli on Washington St NE. I'm guessing this will attract mostly South Metro lovers of this kind of food. read more

My spouse's brother wanted a Russian meal for his birthday. Here is where we found everything we needed, an amazing market. We have made Russian meals many, many times since my spouse was there a number of times in the early '90s, but we lived in California at the time and ingredients were not too hard to come by.
