The butter spritz cookies looked great for a snack later. You really have to hold back. If i picked up any of the jams and jellies I'd put back on the 50# I lost. The only non specialty items were crackers and sodas as far as I could tell. There's a lot of stuff here and a lot of people buying it at any given time. My favorite was in the deli. Pete's jalapeno pickles. Now Yelpers know I don't like anything spicy. This just looked so damn good and it was bread and butter style. A great flavor. Super big slices too. They have good cheese assortments and I was impressed by a huge block of sliced American. Lots of staff. This place is almost like a hang out.

It's Wisconsin, so of course they have sausages. I would put their sausage selection right up there with Kramarczuk's. Also, they make their own sauerkraut, which I highly recommend. There is a grocery store too with produce. It's a great one stop place to get everything you need for dinner.

Both are a very good value for what you get - it's a little hard to compare since you pay one price for a variety of cuts but I did a back-of-the-envelope calculation and it ends up being about the same price as non-grass fed supermarket beef for the ground beef, and actually cheaper for the prime cuts. Most importantly, the quality is outstanding. I've been wanting to make homemade broth/bouillon and before buying from GFCC, I bought some soup bones from Whole Foods. It took four hours and a lot of extras to get some taste and color. After buying a similar package from these guys, I was surprised to get much richer taste and color after just two hours, and the flavor was sublime, just like what I remember my mom making in the "old country"! The only downside is that you have to either share with another family, or else you need a big freezer (and that's for 1/8th which is the smallest package they sell). They did however tells us that they are working on splitting up the quantity into smaller packages so that should be available soon.
