My little (3 years old) was seen on 8/25. As you can imagine Littles are ALWAYS scared going to any Dr's appointments. The front staff Christy and Michelle greeted us with the most comfort. This is my Littles second visit but over all fifth visit because my oldest daughter is also seen here. Everytime we have an appointment here the front desk goes above and beyond to keep us updated on time frames of when we should be pulled back. On Thursday, unfortunately, a couple of other staff had called in due to being sick. Christy and Michelle continued to apologize for the delay but I told them it's okay because honestly what can you do if your short staffed? My little wasn't so happy but they played with her and made her smile! Carla always goes above and beyond to help my little when she's nervous to get her teeth cleaned or pictures done. Both are very uncomfortable and Carla was patient, kind and understanding that my little was screaming and just not having it. I'm glad I found this office, sad I didn't find it sooner though. Dr. Lo is great, never sugar coats things and is so kind with my girls. Definitely will be continuing care here for my Littles. Thank you to the entire staff for always making our visit so much easier on us! I will continue care here with my girls. Office- it is always clean, has a few frames on the wall of toys for kids to play with, tvs in every room, and a pac man machine. We recently moved from Anthem Pediatric Dentistry, because they were kinda special, we had a few things we didn't like but never complained we just let them do their job but I needed to switch cause they randomly made appointments for me without my knowledge and of course, I didn't go and when I let them know they didn't care they told me if I wanna take them again I had to just call or show up and wait to see if they have a spot but it had to be on the same day ‍ like we have all the time in the world, and another couple things but that's for a different review. Like I said we recently moved the girls in the front were nice, no waiting it was quick, the dental assistant was nice and gentle with my girls the dentist was nice too she asked questions and took the time to answer ours which I appreciate with no attitude lol . Dr. Lo is very calm and explained everything to him while the procedure is getting done. He always asking to make sure the patient is ok. Our visit with Dr. Bibiana Ezeanolue at Mint Dental on 11/7/25 was extremely traumatic for my niece. The dentist was harsh, impatient, and raised her voice, telling my niece to "relax" while she gagged and cried. My niece was clearly communicating her discomfort to Dr. Bibiana who would not listen and kept trying to continue despite seeing her in distress. My niece left with an abrasion in her mouth and we did not even complete the treatment. The assistant had to console her afterward, and another staff member even asked if we wanted a different dentist -- which says a lot. This was frightening and unacceptable behavior from a pediatric dentist. I would not recommend Dr. Ezeanolue for children. read more

My 3year old had 2 cavities and a front tooth that she had fallen on and had trauma to. The dentist wanted to extract 2 teeth and crown 3 teeth... 2 of which another dentist said were perfectly healthy and didn't need any work. When I had asked questions the dentist was very short with me. I ended up signing off on her treatment plan for my daughter to be put under general anesthesia for all this work to be done. 2 days later I had asked to see the X-rays to show a friend and the next day the front office made me aware that the dentist would no longer treat my daughter and they cancelled her procedures at the surgery center for the next morning. Because the dentist "didn't feel comfortable with me questioning her treatment." I NEVER questioned her as a dentist. I just had questions on the procedure like any concerned parent would have. For her to drop my daughter as a patient over her insecurity of being questioned is so unprofessional. I did seek a second opinion. My daughter had one crown and one small filling done in office with some gas and sedation juice. Because of MINT dentals incompetence it did end up being for the best and all the excess work the dentist was pushing didn't need to be done and my daughter did not need general anesthesia. I would never recommend this office or the dentist. read more

I like this place! They definitely specialize in children's dentistry. I have a 4year old and a 8year old who don't fear the dentist because of this place. The doctor Bibiana Ezeanolue, had put the numbing on my nephew and had not waited for it to start working before she had started working, this cause him to be in extreme pain the whole time she was working on him to the point of crying. The office staff was good with my daughter but the actual dentist was extremely rough to the point where I had to tell her to physically stop and my daughter to get up and we left. My daughter was physically swollen in the face and traumatized after. Still I took her to another dentist with much better reviews (which now I am regretting not checking these prior) THE SAME DAY and they were able to diagnose her, give her antibiotics (which was much needed) and get the ball rolling on the next course of action for her care. Once again, there was absolutely no reason to physically or mentally hurt my child and now that I am seeing other reviews of similar circumstances I am asking why is this place still in business?! ****Be warned **** office is a wolf in sheep's clothing This place is cute and front desk lady is so nice. But this office pushes an unhealthy practice. I brought my children here for a routine cleaning. We have always had same dental office but changed because of insurance. Also my family is in the dental field. My children are 10 and 7 and have not ever had a cavity. They have X-rays done on the time line of the American dental association recommendation (every 18months) If you know about X-rays you know they are very damaging to bones and harmful to our bodies. Mint Dental policy is to do X-rays every 6months. Because my insurance covers it and it's there policy. I don't know how many times I was told that "it's their policy". Yes we are new patients. I did offer to comply with new patient X-rays. Understandable at this point. But not good enough for them. Next conversation was since I didn't want to commit to every 6 month X-rays in the future they could not clean my children's teeth. Was then toId not to "tell the doctor how to do her job". Ouch! I would like to ask the doctor and staff, would they submit themselves or their children to do X-rays every 6months? I did agree to do new patient X-rays but please don't make them every 6months. I was reused service by office staff and doctor. They informed me that their office was not a good fit for us. They do have that right to refuse us service. I also have the right to voice my experience. ****This office is not for the best interest of the patient.**** Thank you for refusing me service. I am grateful for blessing. PS I was very pleasant during whole experience and understanding. Left office in complete shock. I am not wanting to bash anyone personally. Just expressing my experience. The dentist works well but the office staff over charges for treatment so make sure to take a list of co-pays for your treatment. They also don't submit referrals to the insurance so if your being referred somewhere make sure your ready to make several phone calls and for them to tell you it will be done and months later the insurance has not received anything. read more

Today was our 2nd visit at Mint Dental with Dr. Nathan Lo, DDS. All the staff is very nice & speak to me and my 6yr old with care. I cannot rave enough about the Dr. The relaxing room is so thoughtful for the kids who have to be medicated like mine did. I like how the Dr speaks to my child & still explains what he's doing while he's working. It's the most gentle demeanor, he makes my daughter who is afraid of men completely at ease. The 1st apt we had last week I was so emotional with what a great experience it was. A lot of times when you have medicaid insurance you just have to deal with rude staff members because it's where your insurance works, which of course I'm grateful. But this staff is a whole different experience and I've been to many offices throughout the years with my kids. 10/10 recommend, we will see you in January. read more

I am so grateful for Mint Dental and Orthodontics. My 10 year old daughter came in today for an extraction. I was honestly nervous because it was her first time getting work like this done. Grateful to say, it was a breeze! Literally. The Disney movie playing was a super plus, she actually tried to dance with her hands as the dentist was drilling. The laughing gas really helped her relax and the tooth popped right out in no time. She felt nothing and didn't even respond once it was removed. I was so relieved for us both and she was excited he let her keep the baby tooth. This Dentist knows his stuff! My oldest daughter who is 15 has had unfortunate experiences in the past with a dental office in California that is now closed down. She was very nervous at first but the staff made her feel welcome and comfortable and she was able to receive care with comfort. She walked out with a big smile on her face and that's all we parents can ask for. My daughter was referred here because she needed a tooth extracted. It was infected and causing her a lot of pain. We have a normal dentist for her and this was going to be a specialty visit just for the extraction and because of insurance/ referral this was the place we had to go to. It's in Henderson and that's quite far from us, on the phone was tried to stress how serious the work was and that my daughter was in great pain and wanted an appointment as soon as possible. They said it would only be a consultation. I said can we please do a consultation and also leave time for the work because it's important and she needs the tooth extracted, I know under normal circumstances that's what's done but in this case I already knew what she needed and was hoping she could get it taken care of . They did get an appointment in for the end of that week. Waiting room has a lot of games and fun stuff for kids, not great seating for parents though. They ended up only doing a consultation and saying she needed her tooth extracted, so we had to go all the way back to Henderson again and almost additional 4 days later. Again they tried to get us in as soon as possible . Appointment issues:Day before appointment comes and I get a phone call asking if we can change the appointment time to later in the day, both my husband and I had already made work arrangements, school arrangements etc. and we're not able to do so. Told her we were going to keep the 11:30 appointment. She said she was going to see because she wanted to make sure she had enough time for all the work then if since I wouldn't change to 1:30 if another patient would cancel their 11:00 and call me back. No call back or anything, appointment day comes and I had my husband double check and they changed appointment time to 11am. Girl claims to have called but not one item in our call log or anything, plus I had literally been waiting by the phone. Procedure: my 7year old hasn't had any type of major work done since she was 3 or 4. There was nothing explained to her really except when I told them she was sensitive to noise and stuff they would tell her was was happening. when they put the numbing swabs in there was no wait time from when they did the shots, I remember texting my husband saying "I hope she didn't feel that". They had never asked her to tell them if she felt pain during procedure or anything, she had the laughing gas but she really didn't seem like she had. So could stand up fine after . Way different from how she was her last procedure with a different dentist. When all was said and done and tooth was extracted and as soon as we got to the lobby she broke down crying in my arms. Saying it hurt so bad and she felt everything. The whole time they were pulling her tooth out and the shots and said she was trying to be a big girl. (Plus new dentist, office, people she didn't know) Even I hadn't thought to explain to her to say if she is feeling pain to tell them. You couldn't pay me to go back here, my child has never had a traumatic experience at the dentist or felt pain until we came here and now she has. Oh and no extra gauze or anything for the ride home, she was bleeding all over we couldn't even make it home, had to stop at cvs for gauze. read more

I'm so glad that I found this dentist office! After having long wait times and bad communication from another office in town, Mint Dental was able to get my son in quickly for a consultation and within a few weeks his dental surgery was complete (compared to months at other dentist offices/surgical centers). I had the option having my son's(4 yo) dental work done in office or in a surgical center. The options were fully explained by Christy who weighed the pros & cons with me. She also explained the financial part to me clearly so I understood what insurance would cover. I chose the in office option and I'm so glad I did. I was really anxious and nervous bc this is the first time my son would be put under general anesthesia. The anesthesiologist really Calmed my nerves, she was very informative and caring. Throughout the surgery Christy made sure I was ok and kept me updated on my son. And on top of the the dentist was fabulous! She was quick, thorough and transparent about extra procedures she might have had to do and their cost. I highly recommend this dentist office! read more

This is an amazing clinic!! My children and I recently left their old dentist, and I'm so thankful we came across Mint Dental!! We came here for a second opinion as my younger son was recommended for baby root canals and crowns. I was hesitant and nervous about such a heavy procedure on a child, so we scheduled a consultation with Mint. Indeed, he definitely needed surgery, but Dr. Ezeanolue took the time to show me his x-rays and explain exactly what was going on with his teeth and how pertinent the procedure was. She was very kind and answered all my questions, plus she gave me tips on how to better care for his teeth at home. We ended up scheduling the procedure, and from day 1, all the staff have been kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They went above and beyond for us. Dr. Ezeanolue did an immaculate job, the anesthesiologist absolutely rocks, and they even had a recovery room post-surgery where I could monitor my son and call for help if needed. My son feels so much better having his cavities removed, and he recovered fully within 24 hours. The office even called us a few hours after his procedure to ensure he was doing well. The clinic itself is very kid-friendly. They have a TV playing in each room, things for kids to do in the waiting room, and the staff is kind and patient to children. On top of that, my older son has Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming to him. This is the first children's dentist that we've had such a great experience with. Dr. Nathan Lo is my daughters' favorite dentist. He is absolutely the best children dentist is Las Vegas/Henderson. We live 40 minutes away from the office, but will make the drive to avoid a painful evaluation and treatment from dentist closer to us. Dr. Nathan Lo and his staff never disappoint. Staff is incredibly rude! Their waiting room is tiny, doesn't fit as many people as they have appointments for. Speaking of appointments I had one for my 3 and 7 year old and didn't get in until 40 minutes AFTER THEIR SCHEDULED appointment! It's not easy for little kids to sit there and wait for 40 minutes. Oh and the first time I made an appointment I showed up and they told me I needed to reschedule. Our first visit went well. The ladies in the front were pleasant and helpful. The dentist we had Dr. Bibiana- was honest which is huge for me. I was told my kiddo has no cavities and doesn't need braces. I often feel dentist lie just to get money out of you, not the case here. The office was clean and I watched them sanitize well between patients. I like that they have a children's side and adult side for the patient waiting and treatment areas. So due to covid I was not able to go back with my son when he got his cleaning and x-rays done(Because of covid and I completely understand) but when my son came out he was damn near in tears for the way he was treated!! He said they were being very rude, aggressive and acted as if he was an inconvenience to them. I let my son go back alone thinking he'd be treated with care and understanding not like a piece of garbage!!!!!! So disappointed in this office WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN!!!! My hubby and I are starting our journey #braceslasvegas #teamperfectsmile with invisilign together and we chose Dr. Benson's office since she is one of the few orthodontists in the area that offer Acceledent. ( this speeds up your treatment by 50%, I'll tell you how this comes into play later ) We hate taking time off for work but we fly into Lv almost every month and pricing is cheaper out here so it makes sense to fly out to party, gamble and get a quick tuneup for our teeth at the same time. So the hubbs and I have both had braces growing up and we didn't wear our retainers, so round 2 of orthodontics for us it is ! I know there's more of you guys in this same situation too right ? During our first consultation Dr.Benson indicated that hubbs would be eligible for Invisilign express with 10 trays and 20 weeks treatment and for me 20-25 trays and 40+ weeks treatment. I was so sad that his treatment was half the time as mine and I wouldn't be able to show off my perfect pearly whites in Bora Bora for our honeymoon. I would need more treatment than hubbs due to my teeth shifting and I really wanted to have perfect teeth as well for our upcoming honeymoon . Ugh worst news ever.. This is where Dr.Benson came to my rescue . She said there is a new technology we can use for 20min per day that speeds up the treatment time in half, and also helps with sore teeth while moving. Omg what a life saver. Acceledent !!This electronic device is handheld and sends vibrations to your teeth though a mouthpiece. This would pretty much put my treatment time to 5 months like hubbs woot !! Plus who doesn't love new technology ?! We got our impressions done, and we will be back in a month to get our trays ! Notes: There are several options for treatment that are offered but for us the Invisilign combo with Acceledent worked best for me since we had just mild to moderate crowding with our teeth. Offered with Dr. Benson are Invisilign, metal braces and clear, and if you need actual brackets she can even put them on the inside of the teeth so they are completely hidden ! We had an appointment on August 10th, this dentist office called us to reschedule for August 19th at 2:30pm. Us being the on time people we are, showed up 15 minutes early. Only to find a tiny waiting room, crammed packed with people, with several people standing to wait. We waited for over an hour being totally ignored by the staff. Not even an update on time or an apology for the long wait. They obviously don't care about there customers. Only the money!!! Suggest you go out of your way to find a dentist office that appears to care and want your business. DON'T COME HERE!!!!! read more

The place is not bad but still not the best Ok so I had pain in the back of my lower gums my dad takes me there to check it out i went there when I was 6 or 7 and it was called something else but whatever. My appointment was at 11:00 am I took school off that day so I can make it. I first walked in it was very nice small waiting room but I didn't care the lady found our names and was waiting for the dentist about like 2 minutes I was called,into a chair I lay back and checks my back teeth she took xrays and she told me to open then bite this weird black thingy idk I didn't understand what she meant? Then she told me then I understood fast forward an hour she was cleaning my teeth idk why? They were fine but Then I was trying to open my mouth like she said I was so embarrassed and nervous I actually cried not loud but very quietly and told me " your a older "kid" now Excuse me? I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Benson. I was terrified to get braces at 27. But she was super encouraging and she helped me stay on track to getting them off, even sooner than expected. During my first consultation she projected 18-24 months. I will be getting them off just at 12 months! My smile will be summer ready! The staff is always super friendly and even remembers facts about my life. The environment is clean and vibrant. Very family friendly. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages to get his or her teeth straight. I was also surprised at how much less braces cost. I was expecting to dish out a lot of money.
