I have not been to the dentist in years. I grew up with fluoride, so my teeth are not bad. I thought it was about time I got a cleaning. I live in a nursing home and live on $154 a month. I went to one place with my Medicaid. I came to the office for a second opinion because the first place recommended a crown and the tooth did not hurt. I had been saving for a new wheelchair, and this was going to screw up my budget. Once I accepted that I would have to get an expensive crown and not a shiny new wheelchair the Dr. worked within my budget to get the crown and a deep cleaning done so that I would not have to go to a dental school. I learned that they take Medicare if I have an emergency. They even used a new patient coupon so I can get a 3-month cleaning. read more

This is absolutely the worse dental office I ever been in my life! Went in for a check up and cleaning. I was pushed to get a full X-rays which was ok but the dentist refused to give me a regular cleaning, pushed me to get a deep cleaning which costs a lot more than regular and is mostly not covered by the insurance, also wanted to convince me to change crowns and do a bunch of not needed extras, he was so bold to actually say that I was on the verge of loosing all my bottom teeth if I didn't do everything he was recommending. He refused to treat me because I didn't believe him and kicked me out of his office, I even pull up my camera and recorded the incident. They later sent me a bill to get paid in which I did because they are so rotten and I don't need any more stress. Following that horrible incident I went to a different dentist (Boston Dental) also in Henderson and they were so surprised to hear what I went through, they gave me a regular cleaning and said my teeth are perfectly healthy and I need nothing extra. This is a business to see how much money they can get out of you, don't believe and go get another opinion you won't regret. They deserve 0 stars read more

I have a primary dentist out of state. Galleria Dental provided teeth cleanings in between my primary appointments, 3x per year min. The office admin refused service after I declined unnecessary x-rays. 2 stars because the dental hygienists were pleasant in the past. read more

How to turn a $99 Coupon into an $800 bill Received a flyer in the mail just when I started looking for a new dentist. $99 for x-rays, cleaning, and evaluation. Appointment made. Temara (hygienist) started taking x-rays and measurements, Dr. Fong didn't see anything worrisome in my mouth, then all of a sudden Jordan comes into the room and says: For all the work we need to do today, the cost will be $780.00. No crown, no massive procedure, just cleaning. Yes, I wouldn't lose my $99, that would be applied to the next visit. In 30 years in this country I never was asked to pay that much for something a hygienist does. Of course I left, just laying $60 for x-rays and evaluation. I think this process may be at the very minimum questionable, unethical, unprofessional, misleading. I will make the BBB and Dental Board aware of this as well. read more

I went and got my teeth cleaning and wisdom teeth on my right side pulled Saturday. The gum around my right side bottom wisdom tooth gum was bothering me thus leading to the extraction. I have been going to Galleria Dental for a while now, over 2 years and I had an emergency, tooth was hurting real bad for about 3 days (over a weekend). When I called my dentist to see if I could get in to get it fixed, and it was defiantly an emergency and was told they could not see me for a week and half. I have never had a dentist tell me it would be a week and half for an emergency. I have been going to dentists for about 60 years now and never once been told I would have to wait. Dental hygienist is an angel. So sweet, took her time with me and explained a bunch. She is funny, excellent bedside manner, remembered my name!! So so so awesome. However, Dr. Fong has really bad bed side manner. I left the office in tears... so impatient, so condescending. My procedure didn't go as planned but he never really took the time to explain why... didn't even look me in the eye, felt like he was getting frustrated with me for not being able to tolerate the pain. Even after I asked a bunch of questions, he was so condescending and didn't really answer any of my questions. I will not be coming back, really awful experience. read more

Everyone knows the dentist can be a scary place, but everyone at Galleria Dental made me feel comfortable. My last dentist appointment was horrific but here was a completely different story. They explained my treatment plan and my payments down so I understood everything. They were able to answer all of my questions today. I am looking forward to my upcoming appointments. I didn't have a good dental care and a routine set up while growing up, so I always am embarrassed to show up and need lots of work. With this office's help I am getting back on track with my dental care and am also doing Invisalign. When that is over I plan to also whiten my teeth with them. I appreciate all that they've helped me with and there and have been several visits. I'm surprised the reviews aren't better, but with my experience I'd say give them a chance. I think the receptionist and hygienist have changed since the last reviews as well because they have been nothing but pleasant and helpful. read more

Dr. Fong and Tamera are the best. I switched dentist last year and it has been the best decision for my teeth. I initially swapped after an emergency root canal and crown was needed. They had the bad filling removed and all my pain gone the same day. The pain was so unbearable and I couldn't fall asleep because of it. DR. FONG and AMY are amazing!! I usually have anxiety and they make you feel VERY comfortable. Amy is an Angel she makes sure you leave feeling pretty and I needed that. Jordan is at the desk when I get there and I NEVER wait long for my appointment. Jordan is Awesome!! He will fogure out a way for you to be taken carr of VERY limited pain ( uncomfortable) not really pain you don't need a thousand pain killers you leave there comfortable. My last visit will truly be my LAST visit and I would Not recommend Galleria Dental to anyone. It started with the dental hygienist not being able to speak or understand English. When she started my intraoral X-rays and inserted the mouth piece in my mouth the plastic edges cut the roof of my mouth and I tried to explain that to her but she did not care and just had a bad attitude from then on. After that she refused to do a basic cleaning on my teeth unless I BOUGHT more service work, what a scam!!!! The previous time I was there Dr. Fong rolled into the room on his chair (so unprofessional) and gave me the sales spiel of having to have to get all this non insurance covered work done or they will refuse to clean my teeth, and that is exactly what happened. I do not and never will recommend Galleria to anyone and I hope someone reports them to the better business bureau. If I could give them 0 stars I would and that is what they deserve. but the worst rating is 1 star and that is what they are getting. read more

My family and I have been with this dentist office for many years. They always make me feel as comfortable as possible. Whenever i have an emergency they get me in very quickly, most times the same day I call. Charlie is always my hygienist. She does a spectacular job which makes me always request her for my next visit. I have had a few different dentists in here. None of which have really done a bad job. The equipment is constantly being updated, not sure if that matters to anyone but i always notice! I would recommend them to anyone! UPDATE: After coming to this dentist for years I came back. But this time everyone was new. There was not a single person I remembered. Dentist, hygienists, and even the receptionist. I still went to get my cleaning anyway. It was awful. I can't quite remember the lady's name but I will say it was the worst cleaning of my life. It hurt and it really felt like she didn't know what she was doing. The rinse tool broke apparently to which they told me "rinse with your saliva". I wish I was kidding. I just wish I knew where Charlie and the old crew went. I have to say , my experience with this facility , from booking my first appointment to having my procedure done today has been amazing . After several less than great experiences with Tender Dental since moving to Las Vegas, I've been without a dentist for over a year . I recently began experiencing incredible pain in one of my back teeth . After many sleepless nights , I finally searched Yelp and called Galleria Dental at 8am Monday 2/27/17 , I was literally seen the same day at 11am . The receptionist , consultant in the front office , dental hygienist and dentist were ALL so wonderful . I had an entire treatment plan put in place during my appointment , making everything much more clear and easy to understand . I came back today , 2/28/17 for a root canal and was taken back immediately and treatment began . Everything was explained to me from beginning to end , my comfort was the staff's first priority . I have a few follow up appointments set to complete treatment and although no one looks forward to dental appointments , I will forever be a patient here . Thanks so much ! read more

Just an FYI the $59 for new patients is ONLY for people without insurance. It will not save you "insurance dollars" as their receptionist states below. Still as awesome as the first time I went. Different doctor this time, I cant remember his name it was with a T I believe, but him and his assistant Dave did very well. I had to have a root canal finally that was suggested during my last visit but at the time couldn't afford. Three teeth! They made sure I was comfortable and the procedure only took about three hours. Their office is never horrendously busy which I like, as it means they have a bit more time to spend with you. I had to bring my siblings this time and the receptionist (I think it was Christina) was kind enough to provide them with snacks and entertainment while they waited. At one point my sister must've asked them to check on me and they obliged the 6 year old which I thought was nice. Pain was minimal, and i can honestly say the only discomfort I have is a dull ache in my jaw. Really nice, I love this place. read more

I, like most, get super nervous about dentist visits. I moved to LV and had to find a new dentist. The staff here was amazing and made me feel very comfortable and I even had a smile on my face the entire time. I went to this dds. We were passing through vegas. He was very nice but a crook!! I got an estimate of $4388 but if I bought a discount plan he was selling the price would be $3291. I ended up going to another dds that a friend recommended and found out that Dr Holm lied about me having a big cavity under a crown I had. Said after he filled it then the old crown would not fit back so I would need new one with build up. Cost $1582 not including the filling!! I went for his X-rays & cleaning special for $59. The receptionist is not friendly at all, the only good thing was the very nice hygienist but She needs to work for an honest dentist. STAY AWAY FROM HERE or at least get a second opinion. I only gave one star cause no zero stars. read more

I LOVED this office, but my reason for 1 star is the constant change in dentists. For me, I have had too many bad dental experiences in the past and it's hard for me to trust a dentist to provide quality dental work. When I first came here the first dentist was kind, professional and sensitive to my dental needs. Shortly after he left the office because the owners didn't renew his contract. I was sketchy about trying a other dentist but Dr. Holms made me confident and comfortable with having him work on my teeth. I spent a lot of money and had some major work done. He stuck by my satisfaction of the overall outcome and my satisfaction, he made sure I was happy with the end product and made me feel confident in the large amount I was spending. The front office staff was always so sweet and nice, they knew me by name. I am very disappointed that Dr. Holms is not here and I don't feel that I will be returning to this office due to the constant change of dentists. I disagree with the reviews and have never encountered anything stated and I have been going here for several years. The ownership of this practice needs to get their act together because you've no lost a patient and my family. read more

My husband has had problems with his teeth for years due to acid reflux and bad dental care in the military. I got an appointment for him and they broke his treatment into several plans, and only gave him one with two extractions, bone grafts/tissue, and two implants. Their treatment coordinator there is an extremely greedy woman who told him the price for the extractions but didn't feel like mentioning it would be $900 just for tissue and bone. (and that's AFTER insurance) I've worked in dental, I've even treatment planned. The way their current Coordinator operates comes off as money hungry and shady. Yes, practices need to make money- but they also need to establish good patient care. She fed him a bunch of crap and when he came back for his second appointment today to get his teeth pulled and have the graft placed, she told him it was $900. Right on the treatment plan it has the price for the extractions and everything circled for his next visit- a total of $200 something, not $900 something. We had gotten him some treatment plans drawn up before he had insurance, and EVEN THEN, the treatment coordinators cut bone and tissue down to like $200, if that. NEVER have I heard of someone trying to pump a patient for $900 just for tissue and bone placement with an extraction. He would've gotten all the work done if that woman wasn't so greedy. Now they've lost their doctor's production from him today, all the production pay from the implants, and the rest of the $30,000 plan they drew up for him with everything. Don't go here unless you want to get your wallet snaked out from your pocket while they've got you in the chair. read more
