Routine cleaning... (I hate people digging in my mouf) however I don't like cavities, tooth pain or eating on one side of my jaw either! So I had to be a big girl or whatever... Entrance: greeted smile, temp check on wrist and a few forms to fill out. It's a area with clean pens, dirty pens and hand sanitizer. Restroom are on that side of the office as well. Spacing of waiting is really cute and stylish. During: I was so comfortable during my cleaning with Pandora on Monica station and the massage chair on. My doctor continued to ask if I was ok or in any pain. Now I assumed I would have pain medication by syringe to numb my jaw line. But that nasty taste of gel that was used did the trick. So I was happy. I was more mad at my self for bringing the wrong insurance card and had to pay out of pocket for my cleaning but that was my fault. I had a 3:45 Appt and was given a 15 min grace period I called to let them know i'd be there by 4:00 and I was but I wasn't inside the doors till 04:01 Kayla was very rude when I initially called stating i'd be late because I payed for extra nitrous and it would cause me to take longer and it would keep them there longer today cause it's friday and once I arrived she seemed as though she didn't want me there so I requested to speak with the doctor and see if I could get my treatment completed but it was not manageable today is what Dr barker said due to not wanting to keep his staff past they're time which I then expressed to him he should be more concerned with the patients and they're experience while here instead of trying to get out of work earlier cause it's friday. read more

Went to this location and all the bs they promise on the radio does not happen. all they did was took xrays and gave me a "treatment plan" close to $4k without even consulting my insurance alleging a lot wasn't covered i called my insurance and that info was false. i called them to question them about it mint claimed they would look into it and call my insurance and call me back. it's been a month no word... go somewhere else read more

I came in yesterday for a walk in to schedule an appointment. I was super nervous because I had went to a different dentist last week , for an exam, and I left with high blood pressure and not wanting to get the necessary cleaning due to the untrustworthy environment. With that being said, when I walked into Mint, Cristina , a warm bubbly face, immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. So with those vibes I booked an appointment with them to get an exam. I was scheduled for the next day and I came in early to fill out paperwork. The room was clean and quiet. Soon after my paperwork was completed I was set to go and take x-rays and take photos of my teeth so I could receive a quote on the proper treatment. Whilst that was being completed I sat in the massage chair that momentarily took my stress away. Soon after the doctor came in and told me her recommendations. Before I knew it I was being numbed , getting the proper treatment and it was topped off with a suitable cleaning. All I can say is the work is commendable and I'm looking forward to finishing the rest of my dental work with them. The icing on the cake was the free whitening kit. I actually was astounded that the company provided this option for customers. So if you decide to go to Mint, tell them I sent you! read more

Not one, but two appointments-two chances to get it right and they dropped the ball twice! Why do you have appointments if you're going to be late every time? Total inconsideration for my time and then no apology or explanation for it. My frustration was visible during the first appointment so you would think for the second appointment (which was just supposed to be a 15 minute visit) that they would make sure to get me in and out, but oh no. I waited for 45 minutes for nothing only to leave and just tell them never mind I won't be back ever!! The ladies at the front desk even paged them and said "customer is here and ready" it's not their fault up front but whoever is running things or the actual dental staff itself is horrible! Arrived at 320 for a 330 appointment. Current time is 426 and I remain in the waiting room. No conversation regarding running late or other interaction from staff. I rise and ask at the desk attendant the wait time. She states, 'We are cleaning a room for you right now'. It's what they just said to another waiting room patient 10 minutes ago and she remains in the waiting room across from me, still not in for treatment. I am further advised that i get $1 for every minute I wait. i'd like my time back. suggest: communicate via text when my time is near ready or advise me airline style that my flight/appointment is "delayed" allowing me yo drive the 2 miles home to return when my time is within 30 minutes. The service was lack luster and i wasnt greeted with a smile. The dental asst. had an attitude and mind you it was the morning and first impressions definitely matter. The clinical staff is always great. I would say the same for the 1st face I see on entry, except for my experience 4 days ago. I walked in to a man and the receptionist discussing a dental treatment the man was kindly declining. I stood behind him in line for a few minutes, with no acknowledgment. I had just got off a 24hr ER shift and my legs were aching. I went to the restroom while they continued. When I exited they were still conversing. I sat down. I could tell I was starting to fall asleep as they continued to converse as my appointment time was in just a few minutes, so I got up to ask this receptionist for the check in paperwork. They talked for a bit more as I stood at the counter, before she told me to have a seat, without giving me the paperwork. I sat down. She then told the young man, to continue. It would have taken less time to say, "Hi here you go," and just given me the clipboard. They talked more, and, and he finally left. THEN she had me get up again to retrieve the paperwork. It was so obvious that not efficiency, and courtesy but conversation with this youngish man, and showing him her photos, was THE priority, and how DARE this tired ER doctor interrupt...to ask to complete THE MINT DENTISTRY PAPERWORK. read more

Shady shady shady practice. Where do I begin? There's the luring with "free whitening with a cleaning" that they NEVER fulfill. You come in and they'll say "oh it can't be the same day as your cleaning, sorry" they never mention that before but then they say come in any other time but when you call, they book you for another cleaning. 3 times I tried to get my whitening, never happened. How about the borderline harassment they bombard you with the text, calls and voicemails. I've told them numerous times that I do not want their services and they still leave you voicemails and texts. If you block them, they'll use another phone number. 13 calls and texts I received after telling them I don't want their services and blocking them. This is the ghettoest place I've ever been to, shadiest business ever. Do yourself a huge favor and drive literally across the street to Smile Village Dental Care or 3 minutes down Broadway to Pearland Modern Dentistry, unbelievable difference. They have amazing service, professional staff and just one simple reminder that you're due for a cleaning. Oh and they also give free whitening... the SAME DAY! read more

Wife's a teacher and has PPO insurance like commercial says you need. Went to use my insurance and was told $400 for a cleaning with ppo insurance! Oh but they don't t tell you this until they take ur X-ray! So left work early to get a cleaaning and got nothing! BuT a bill for my insurance for $350! This place is an absolute JOKE! I went to this office since I moved to the area. I expected to get the same level of service that I received at the Heights location. Boy was I wrong. The cleaning I received was fine, but when Dr B. started on my BASIC cavity filling, things went horribly wrong. While drilling on the tooth, I felt excruciating nerve pain and told her as much. She tried to tell me that it wasn't nerve pain, but just my sensitivity to the cold. Really?!? No ma'am I know the difference. She then proceeded to pump my cheeks with enough lidocaine to tranquilize a small elephant, yet the pain persisted. As a result, I've had two weeks of jaw claudication, temporal swelling and extreme pain when I chew... all from a routine treatment. Use this location at your own peril. read more

I recently went to make dentistry for the first time located in Pearland shadow Creek area and I have experienced the greatest customer service in my entire dental experience in my life. I walked in and I was immediately greeted by this lovely with long brown hair and a side part. They save me almost $2500 dollars with the amazing discount plan that they referred me to. I walked in and all the dentist were so sweet so helpful and even guide you to the restroom play the music for you if you asked and also had a massage chair as well. The ladies even let me put on my own Netflix show and they also informed me about fractures in my teeth that I didn't even hear about from my other dentists. I already recommended three friends to this exact office and if you're smart you would go as well. They also gave me three different kinds of toothpaste to take home one ProNamel one Colgate and one charcoal. read more

Recently I became a new patient at Mint dentistry. April 1 I went to get my first cleaning and exam done with their office. I was told I had a cracked tooth in the back and a couple of cavities. The dentist was nice went over my options and we settled on do the cavities and a crown even with a cracked tooth it's a 50/50 chance a root canal maybe needed. I scheduled my next appointment for the crown and fillings for April 12th and that's when things went down hill. Not having any big procedure after my wisdom teeth being removed I had no idea of what to expect during or after the procedure. I went home in pain to some pain relief and laid down. The office called to do a follow up although I was hurting I thought it was due to needles and possibly brusing from the numbing. However, days were still rolling I'm still in pain so I got a follow up appt for Friday, April 16th and the dentist made it clear that a root canal would be necessary. Because of my fear I tried to talk her out of her own diagnoses. Again, I gave in and scheduled an appointment for April 29th that's the earliest they could see me. The dentist did prescribe an ibuprofen for pain a steroid of inflammation (I thought it anti biotic) and a muscle relaxer (never used). Needless to say the meds were no match for the pain by Monday morning I was calling once to twice that day and on Tuesday to see if there were any cancellations so I could come in and sadly not one. Pain so bad it's in my ear, I have jaw fatigue and heart burn and stomach issues stemming from this tooth and the pain meds. It was so bad I went to the doctor yesterday, April 23rd because I thought I had an ear infection from the pain (thankfully to God I don't). Icalled the dental office again to see if they had for Monday or Tuesday coming up... nope still booked. To accommodate my needs the receptionist booked me for Monday at the Old Spanish Trail location and come to find out she did that incorrectly and that office called me and was able to put me in at a different time all for them to call me back to say the dentist there will not do the procedure and that I have to go back to original location or they have to refer me out to a specialist. The OST office stated they were going to call the Pearland office to discuss and that I would hear back that day, remind you it's a Friday at 5pm when call is taking place and if I heard from them then Ray Charles just put out a new album with James Brown as the feature. So NO I didn't hear from anyone and now I'm shit outta luck without an appointment. Pissed is an understatement. After these two procedures I'm done with their asses. read more
