I think I died and went to heaven. lol. This is the best food I had in long time. I've been waiting for this restaurant to open and I had it bookmarked for quite some time. The food was out of this world. The Mofongo Bites were just simply delicious. The chicken on the Mofongo bites were cooked to perfection. The Sweet Chili wings were so delicious and crispy and I haven't eaten any wings that tasted that good in long time. The Rasta Pasta was so delicious that I almost dropped a tear. It was very creamy and so flavorful. Last but not least, were the delicious Jerk Tacos. The chicken on the tacos were cooked perfectly and just had so many flavors. The restaurant was very clean and I just love the interior design. It gave me that fun atmosphere vibe. The customer service was amazing and are waitress was incredibly friendly, outgoing, and very helpful. I will DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!! read more

awful Save yourself the trouble- do not eat here. Took over 1 hour to get a lychee martini. That was not a lychee martini. Food overcooked, old grease. Ran out of rice- just gave mashed potatoes and said thats the only starch and the menu is a hit or miss. read more

Very unpleasant staff. Food and beverages take forever to come out and when and if they actually arrive they're melted down and watery. The staff could care less about your experience and take forever to drop the check even when the establishment is half empty. Blows my mind that this place has been around for as long as it has since it's an absolute ghost town during prime time dining hours. I would say that I hope they get their act together but somehow I genuinely doubt that's going to happen. read more

I visited Mint this past Saturday for my daughter's Birthday Dinner. The owner did an amazing job communicating with me and hosting us. The food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The restaurant set up is beautiful there is a lot of photo worthy pictures. I would definitely return! I did not enjoy the coconut mojito at all. Where to begin. We had a large reservation (23) with months notice. We arrived but nobody came to take our drink order for awhile. The waitress finally came Deli (spelling?) took our orders drink/food altogether to get everything started. Drinks didn't come out for nearly 1.5 hours and half the table still didn't get it theirs. When looking over to the bar no one was working! They have bodies moving around but no one was actually making any drinks. When asked they said they were short today. Then about 2 hours in we started to get some food to the table the bang bang shrimp is 5 pieces small shrimp with a few leaves of mixed greens for $16 not worth it. Some guests got wings and they looked pretty good an no one really complained about that. Me and my lady each got the steak frite, 1 medium rare the other medium. One came out well done and the other pretty close to it so I sent one back because it was inedible. The kitchen sends it back blue raw, like it touched the pan for 2 seconds on each side and he cut it and put it on my plate angrily to make a statement. I sent that back and said I'll still take the steak but just toss it around on the hot pan and bring it back then it came back fine however they garnish it with minced raw garlic which is just not pleasant. Lastly they say on the menu that it's a grilled skirt steak and we received fatty pan fried sirloin. The other side of the table still had not received drinks or food yet. 1 guest got fish tacos and it was raw after sending it back 3 times. 1 guest got salmon and it was burnt to a solid black chunk and the chef told the waitress to tell the guest he would not make it again so we asked for a manager who said she'll get him to do it but it would be a while (she then canceled the order. Another steak order came out and the same thing it was raw, the guest tried her best to eat as much as she could but ended up eating the edges and the fries. Nearly 3 hours in 1 guest kept asking about her food as now the first round of dishes are now finished. While all this is happening the waitress is being rude and smiling, rolling her eyes at all the issues. The birthday girl who was now devastated of the her long awaited dinner reservation just wanted the bill and her cake back. They took forever to give back the cake. As a cook and manager there was so many issues that could've been solved at the get go. Based on the other reviews they are unable to keep up with large parties... reduce the menu and have large portions set to family style pasta bowls set in 2 spots, whole salmon filet platers already portioned, appetizers and salads, Drink pitchers instead of trying to do 23 little drinks at one time.. or if your short staffed call the guest and give them the notice so they have time to look for a new place with out hurting the business. Rule of thumb 10 guest have a bad experience they will tell 10 more people each and then it spreads. This place will likely not make it. Do your self a favor and just don't go read more

I was there this past weekend and the service was horrible! the food took almost 2 hours to come out and when it did, it was cold. we had to keep reminding the waiter to bring us our drinks. I recently organized my birthday dinner for a large group at Mints, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We were excited to celebrate, but the poor service completely ruined the evening. I wish I could give this experience a better rating, but unfortunately, it was one of the worst events I've ever attended. We booked this venue for a large group birthday party, expecting a fun, memorable celebration, as perceived on their social media, but it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First off, the staff was disorganized, and the manager was unprofessional. We arrived on time, only to find that nothing was prepared. The tables were put together but we weren't given any silverware. It was a complete mess. The event staff seemed overwhelmed, despite the fact that we had made all arrangements well in advance for a group of 15. It seemed as if the manager was being more attentive to other guests as if they were people she knew instead of helping the only two servers that were also bartending at the same time! When my son-in-law went to say something to the manager she simply replied with, "then just leave a review". The food, which was supposed to be one of the highlights, was shockingly bad. We waited over 2 hours for our food, some of the guests (who drove all the way from MA) did not even get their meal! Some dishes were served cold, so we had to send back and a few items didn't even arrive until the event was almost over. We had to constantly remind the staff to bring our drinks. The lack of attention to detail was frustrating. There was what looked like a large group setup, but they had yet to arrive. Our food started coming out what felt like one person at a time. When we asked if we could take the silverware to the empty table, the server responded with, "no that's setup for this table". Mind you, we were already waiting two hours with nothing set up on ours. Overall, it was a chaotic, disheartening experience that left our entire group disappointed. I would strongly advise anyone considering this venue or event service for a special occasion to look elsewhere. They completely failed to deliver and what should have been a fun birthday celebration turned into a stressful, disorganized mess. First time coming to dine. The esthetics are nice. Plenty of places for photo ops including the bathroom, which was nice and clean. Drinks were good and so was the food. My only suggestion for food would be add a vegetable to the main plates, especially if the portions are on the smaller side. Service was great until the end when it was time for the check. Any restaurant I go to we get a printed check to see what we are paying for. Our server did not provide that. Also we were not asked if we wanted to split the check or pay it as one. Server automatically just split the check which wasn't necessary. Lastly we were told that the gratuity added to our checks were NOT for the server or the supporting staff, they were just for the kitchen staff and we would need to pay an additional gratuity for the server. I know servers may not make as much as they should, but we are a group of women that love to eat out and we ALWAYS take care of our servers, even more when the service is on point as it should be. No need to try to deceive and hustle an extra tip out of your patrons because that's how you scare them from coming back again. Overall I would recommend everyone trying this place at least once. Food took forever to come out I ordered a drink they brought it to me the owner walks up to the table and attempted to take the drink out my hand, insisting that I had the wrong drink. While the ambiance at this place is nice, the service is absolutely terrible. We waited over two hours for appetizers, and despite the fact that our server was on her second day, she was given a table of 20 to manage by herself. She clearly wasn't equipped to handle such a large group, and there was no support from senior staff. The kitchen was so backed up that our food didn't come out until three hours later. This isn't an isolated incident--many reviews mention similar issues with slow service and long wait times. Historically, this place has hovered around a 2.5-star rating for the same reasons. I wouldn't recommend coming here until they address these issues with service and speed. To make matters worse, the music is way too loud for a restaurant. You can barely hear the person next to you because the volume is cranked up as if it's already a nightclub, even though the club part doesn't start until 10 PM. Save your time and go somewhere else.
