We were in the shopping center and decided to get mani/pedis. My nails were thick and chipped 2 days in. Within 5 days three were chipped and one peeled off. I went back for a repair and the person fixing my nails put top coat on top of the gel nails that were already done. Anyone who has even done nails knows that doesn't work. It chips, but I let him do it. So here we are, less than two weeks in and every nail is ruined. Save your money. Buy a light and some Gelish polish from Sally's. Staff was nice, place was clean, and Lisa did a great job on my pedicure and nail refill. Reshaped my nails and also did a minor manicure. I will definitely be going back! I used to go here all of the time & never had any complaints. However, the last time I went for a refill I was told I needed to have them taken off and to get a full set. I asked for black polish, to which I was told to only paint the tips black. The lady doing my nails then did a design without asking me. I was charged for all of these additional things that I did not ask for and my nails came out very sloppy. The shape is uneven. They started lifting after a day. Do not go to Mint nails. If I could give them zero stars I would. My girlfriend's daughter has had her second horrible experience with them. First off, they refused to listen to her and gave her nails that she didn't want and then up-charged her. Then today, they were the only place open, so she went to get her nails done. Not only, did they not listen to her AGAIN, but they tried to to blame her for the bad cuticles. This is 16 year old young woman came home in TEARS due to how bad they messed up. They cut up her cuticles and she was bleeding (I didn't get the pics of it, but she was bleeding here at the the house) and they tried to blame her for the issues. The nails are longer than she wanted and then they up charged her AGAIN and refused to reimburse her Mom. Do not waste your time or money at this place. They won't listen to you and they will mess up your nails. They need to have their license revoked. read more

The two stars is for first impression. It looked like a nice place and appeared clean. Unfortunately it was an awful experience and I would not return. My daughter suggested going here because she has had a few decent experiences going with her friends. So her snd I went on a Monday afternoon. She was going for s refill and I was going for a pedicure. They took her back immediately and had me sit in a chair. The guy who was doing my daughters nails put a liner in and walked away. I sat there for 15 minutes with my pants rolled up and feet sitting in an empty tub. Finally, a girl comes over and begins to put water in my tub. Only problem is it's cold. So I tell her and she attempts to adjust the temperature but it's still cold. So once again remove my feet and she looks at me and says, " It's still cold?" I tell her yes. She then adjusts the temperature again and it finally starts putting warm water in the tub so I put my feet back in but she stops too soon, turns the water off and says she will be right back leaving my feet soaking in water that is barely like warm. I sit for another 15-20 minutes while she is doing someone's acrylics. At this point I'm annoyed but trying to be patient. I figured I would have her put some more warm water in the tub when she is done. Now I look across the room and see a woman who had come in 30 mins after me getting her pedicure while I am still sitting soaking in cold water with no one around. I did go back in when my daughter was finished. No apologies, no attempt to rectify the situation. I will not be back. read more

While visiting in town, my sister took me to this salon. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. My pedicure was standard, no frills. My manicurist, David, went above and beyond. Many times we leave nail salons wishing they would've spent a little more time on us... not with David. He is a perfectionist. I got a fun yellow color but it wasn't coming out great so after he did both hands and three coats, he decided to remove it and try again. I couldn't believe how much he cared and wanted to perfect his craft. The second time around he put a white base coat, then two coats of the yellow. I'm very happy with my nails! I do like that you can call and get in most likely same day. I don't like that even when I make an appointment I wait over a half hour or have 3 people work on me and go from table to table. Every single time I get dip the tips chip and I've even asked them to make them a little thicker. This last time was it for me, 24 hours and 2 tips have chipped. I went to the owner and he never seemed to want to do nails. Went and got my nails done two days ago and I absolutely love them! 5 stars for getting my nails the exact way I wanted them. 4 stars for the whole process. I would give 3 stars for how impatient they are when it comes to finding your color as the women who work in this nail salon want you to walk in and know exactly what color and sit down. I usually need a few minutes. Also another thing that's a little bit upsetting is that the prices on the wall is not what the girls who are doing your nails tell you the prices are. It clearly says nail design 2 for $5.00 which means 2 nails is $5.00 I asked how much the design would be and she said 10.00 - not sure why. It's just upsetting I basically am up charging myself but you ruined it by saying $10.00 - also while I was in two days ago it seemed like a customer had a bad experience maybe 2 weeks ago and she let Don the owner know and it sounded like he took care of her bad experience but came back to talk to his team about rushing getting nails done or over charging and yet I was almost over charged after he walked away.... so disappointing but I do love how clean the salon is. I went here this past weekend and I will never be back. I had an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes. There were no temperature checks for anyone, they didn't ask anyone to wash/sanitize their hands, and they weren't sanitizing their stations between customers. It seems like they were taking walk ins because their waiting room was filled during my whole visit there. When I was finally sat, the tech was getting up every 5 minutes to go work the front desk (even though there was someone already working it). Also, I feel like they aren't taking the necessary social distancing precautions as I was very close to two other customers and their techs. I asked my tech to cut my nails a little shorter since they had obviously grown out. I wasn't told that I would be charged extra for that, yet I was. After I left I realized that some of my nails aren't even the same length on both hands. I was also charged a "covid fee" of $5 which is ridiculous considering they aren't taking basic precautions with their customers, or sanitizing their workspace regularly. I went to this place a few times pre-covid and I thought they did a very good job but this past visit was horrible and unfortunately I don't feel comfortable going back. read more

I tried this salon for the first time today. My pedicure was ok at best because it was rushed. I sat in the chair for twenty minutes waiting for someone to turn on the hot water so I could at least feel comfortable while I waited. My skin was filed and cut by the cuticle cutters. Then I was surprised at the price! I picked a $32 pedicure and was charged over $50 for an end result. They charged $15 extra for gel polish and then $3 for some kind of Covid pack. This nail place is more expensive than all the other nail salons in the area and they didn't do a very good job. My nails were all filled unevenly and when I was done I was sitting under the dryer letting my nails dry when the manager came over touched my nails and said they were done. I am very disappointed, I came here for my first time because my friends love it. I had old acrylics on and they charged me 10 extra dollars to remove them.. and then I got dip on my nails and I was there for 2 hours and then exactly a week after I got them 2 nails fell off. I paid 45 dollars plus tip for them to come right off. Dip usually lasts me 3 weeks at the previous nail salon I went to and I was never charged for removal of previous nails. I have never been done so dirty. I came in for a mani/pedi. The same girl did both. The pedi was excellent; attention to detail, neat straight edges etc. the manicure was the worst manicure I have ever received in my life. I came in with long nails that were well maintained by myself and in fact had been painted only the week before again by myself. I tell the girl that I want my nails shaped more oval because I have mixed nail shapes (some grow out more squared, some more rounded). The girl then cuts off all of my nail at my pinky and goes "square." Wtf. I explain that I can't have square because I work with my hands and they'll get caught on something and I'll lose my entire fingernail. She proceeds to take off nearly a cm in growth length on every nail. Literally NO white left. She then roughly rounds the nails and calls it a day. Most of the nail shapes are uneven. She paints my nails, doesn't even cap the ends for longevity and when I remind her that I wanted a gel top coat so they'd last more than a day for me, she goes "no". Wtf. I had told her several time from the time I walked in what I wanted done. I have given myself better manicures in less than ten minutes. I actually wanted to cry. I will NEVER get another manicure done here. It's like they resent that you won't pay more to get a full set done. I paid $14 to have months of nail growth removed in seconds and every request I had to be ignored. I'm in my 30s. I've been getting my nails done for 15+years. I have NEVER had such a bad manicure in my life. If the issue was communication, I'm sorry but I was clear and concise. It's going to take months for me to undo the damage. read more

ive heard good things but was VERY DISAPPOINTED .. didnt get what i asked for. i got a pedi and told them i was happy to pay for the best service as long as it came with a good massage but i got none. i had to remind him several times during the service but he just didn't do it. if i had known i would have just gotten a polish change and a manicure instead of blowing so much on the pedi and not having enoughto get my nails done. he also burned me 4 times! usually the hotter the better for me but he literally kept putting scorching water on me. i also i couldn't get the massage chair to work well and nobody cared. the worst was that there was NO attempt to make it right on their part. it was so uncomfortable to try and be assertive and to keep reminding of what you want when i obviously just wasn't going to get it. i paid way too much for what i got. SO UPSET! read more
