Me and 5 buddies came to the course with two tee times back to back doing a 3-3 scramble since our long time friend came from southern Oregon. Everything was going super smoothly as when we called ahead we asked if a scramble was allowed on a Sunday and we were told yes. Around hole four, a gentle man came up to us quite hot headed informing us that what we were doing was strictly "against the rules of golf", that scrambles were prohibited on the course and we were holding up multiple groups behind us. As of that moment we had just waited for the group of two ahead of us to finish their hole so we would hit them when we swung, and the group behind us had just hit their tee shot on the previous hole. We bickered back and fourth as we also explained if we split up whoever allegedly called in on us would just be further behind but he drove off and we continued, passing by was another employee and we asked his opinion on the matter and he stated it seemed completely fine as long as no one was being held up which I agree with. By hole six he returned again and stated again we were not following the "rules of golf" even though at hole 6, again we were waiting for the group ahead who were still on our hole, and the group behind us were just teeing off. While he was speaking to us the previous group caught up and then the group behind them also arrived. We decided to go back to the club house and get a refund but when we got there we were told we would get the difference of what a 18 hole and 9 hole, which was absolutely inadequate. read more

We called the course 2 days in advance to book two tee times so a group of 6 could all play together, by hole 3 the Marshall began to bully us out of the course and by the sixth hole, we decided to call it quits. Pace of play was kept the entire time (except for the constant stalling by the Marshall) we were promised a refund for the horrible experience but we given a poultry $17 of the $60 we payed. Poor service, poor course, and poor communication. If you see an old man with a red hat, please don't give him your money, it will be better spent at a course that respects the game rather than the "rules". read more

Today, we had a foursome at Saturday morning. We came to play golf from Vancouver, Wa and Olympia, Wa. The cost was not cheap, but the course appeared to be in very good condition. The starter told us that a squad of 5 young men had been okayed to play ahead of us. He went on to indicate the large squad would not hold us up or they would "let us play through." He also indicated he would keep an eye on them to make sure they weren't holding up the other players. Well, he was wrong on all counts. The play was glacial for the entire 18 holes. They did not offer those behind them to play through. Staff did not monitor the pace of play. By the time we made the turn, golfers from 3 and four squads back, at least, were stacking up. It took roughly 5 hours for us to play the course. Absolutely no excuse for this. We won't be back. read more

I have had the 2 worst experiences trying to golf at this course. Both times we booked our tee times through THEIR website and both times the course was closed for maintenance and a tournament. The first time the lady was nice and apologetic but after trying this course a second time and having the same issue a month later we will never go back. Our second try the older man working the pro shop was so rude to us making it sound as if this was our fault. After arguing with this man for awhile the manager finally comes in who was very nice and actually knew how to handle a customer respectfully let us on the course. We got in our last few complaints of letting him know this happened before and that the man working the pro shop was a d*ck. Well the man heard us and actually came around the counter and got in my fathers face and said "What did you call me?". We told the manager we will never come back to this course because of this man. If your in the Longview/Kelso area go play Three Rivers golf course. Much better course and they always treat you good. read more
