Yet, even then my wait was probably all of 15 min. More than likely I picked a slow night but not attempting reason for another visit anytime soon...haha... Overall, between the moment of check-in to check-out the staff were kind, caring and supportive. The only thing that stinks is paid parking. All small price to pay for the prompt and expedient service!

The staff were professional, attentive, and very helpful, which I truly value--especially during a time when I was dealing with post-surgical discomfort. At the same time, I would like to respectfully share a concern regarding patient comfort. As someone who is still recovering from spine surgery, I found it very difficult to remain seated upright while waiting. I understand that wait times are part of urgent care services; however, having a few reclining or more supportive seating options for patients in significant pain or post-surgery recovery could make a meaningful difference. I had a reaction to a medication I was taking and my prescribing dr said to go to urgent care…read moreimmediately. I had to find one that took my insurance. They were on my list of providers so I called to confirm and they said they took my insurance . The person that answered the phone was really helpful. I drove over, filled out the paperwork and waited. It wasn't long before I was escorted into a room where my vitals were taken. The dr came in shortly. I showed him the reaction and he went to look up the information on the Rx that caused it. He was unfamiliar with it. He returned shortly after and showed me a printout with the information that reactions were common in about 45% of patients. This was my 3rd month taking it and it had been ok previously. He ruled out an allergic reaction and sent in a prescription for treatment. It was a quick visit I wish I didn't need but I wanted assurance after my prescribing dr ordered me to urgent care asap. It was my first visit to an urgent care ever and it was pretty easy. Hopefully I won't need it again but if I do I know where to go.

I asked to have a Complete Blood Count Test Taken so I can check on my blood clot that has developed in my right leg do I can find out if my Blood Clot has progressed and has increased and has gotten worse. This Nurse Practitioner was working at the front desk. She was very MEAN and not understanding to my very serious medical condition. The NP told me that she refuses to allow me to take a blood test at their AFC Urgent Care Center. I was mistreated by her with her bad attitude towards me. I told her my medical insurance company sent me over to her Urgent Care facility. Then she said that since I have not checked into their facility that I am not considered their patient. I said the reason I am not checked in is because I just arrived there by an Uber Driver and I was not told by their receptionist to sign my full name and to write down the date I arrived at their facility and I n ended to write down the time I arrived at their urgent care office. Again , this Nurse Practitioner said NO she won't accept my business. The NP forced me to call 911 and to request an Ambulance transport me to Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. I told that NP that I will never come to their facility again .

I brought my son in immediately after he got a busted lip during baseball practice because I wanted to make sure he was okay. There was only one patient waiting ahead of us, yet it still took over an hour before we were finally attended to. After they called us in to take my son's vitals and brought us into a room, we had to wait again for quite a while before the doctor came in. The wait time was extremely long considering the clinic was not busy at all. They only gave my son one pill of ibuprofen for pain relief and that was basically it. We had to go to the CVS right after to buy more. Some urgent care clinics provide it on-site. Overall, the biggest issue was the excessive waiting time. It was frustrating to wait that long when there's literally no other clients but only us.

Great alternative to the sometimes long wait at in-person Urgent Care (to avoid exposure to flu, etc.) and physicians willing to work with you. They are experts in telehealth. I love the fact you may receive doctors who are "no longer accepting new patients," yet they are made available for telemedicine. (You likely won't be able to secure them as your PCP but can at least visit with an amazing doctor one time.)

I was prescribed and given a steroid shot in my arm which subsided the discomfort after a few minutes by 60%, or so. I was also prescribed oral steroids for 14 days & provided with a note for light duty from work for two weeks. Thank you for your concern, which in my opinion is/was misplaced, it would have truly been appreciated upon my initial visit which was unfortunately, not the case.
