I had no idea this place existed! I mean I saw it when I walked into Longs but had no idea until I called a doctors office to ask them if they do earwax removal. My ear was itchy nonstop and thought maybe I needed some cleaning. They recommended that I call Longs. What?! They do that? Looked it up and sure enough... it's an easy process, could make a quick appt through the app or something even could be waitlisted if you want same day. I was able to get in the following day. A RN called me into the office and asked me some questions. After that, the Nurse Practitioner called me into another bigger office to check me out. I had clean ears after she checked and I had an ear infection. She prescribed me some me ear drops and I was on my merry way. Super convenient and easy. Wish I would've known about this place rather than going to the urgent clinic in which I waited 4 hours! The NP was super thorough and the place is clean. read more

Actually ridiculous. I went for a DOT physical which i get every 2 years. Nothing has changed for my medical history!!!! NOW all of a sudden i need a doctors note stating it's safe for me to operate cmv. This is my 3rd DOT physical ive needed and never needed this So i pay the $122 and then ANOTHER $36 for a "follow up" to bring back signed paper work that i didn't even need to have !!!!!! No one disclosed another charge would be needed to return signed documents !!!!!!! read more

Just letting you know, they can just cancel your appointments on the day of without giving any reason apparently...I'm not able to get an appt with my PCP to get a health symptom checked out this week so I made an appointment to come to this minute clinic location. I've been here in the past and 3/4 of the times I've came, the service has been alright. Located in Longs Pearlridge Makai, Google maps is wrong. I didn't want to drive into town to see my pcp so I made my appointment online which requires a credit card and your insurance info. I was seen on time by a nurse then sent back out wait less than 5 minutes for the "doctor" who is a nurse practitioner. I went in due to sinus infection and got rx for antibiotics. Came here for my scheduled vaccines. Checked in and there were 2 people in front of me. Only one provider working, I understand she's busy. She calls in people consistently and then stops. It was easy to book an appointment but it took forever for the appointment. I honestly felt sorry for the aprn who had to stop midway during my appointment to accept a delivery. She said they cut her ma. It wasn't just any ordinary delivery, it was vaccines so it took her even longer. Thought I could finish my appointment on my lunch break. Barely made it back in time. I don't think I would trust the provider judgement either. After my infection wasn't healing when I was taking my antibiotics a couple days later she told me to continue. The culture of my toe said that there was better antibiotics. She refused to change it. I would have changed the med. Well I had to go to another urgent care and had to get my toe drained. I think it would have been preventable if I had the right antibiotic to begin with. read more

Don't have an issue with the services provided except for the lab provider they use (Clinical Labs of Hawaii) which refuses to accept Medicare and Tricare as payment and will demand full payment. (Even though the CVS clinic is both a Medicare and Tricare network provider). read more

Things happen and when they do this is a good place to go to get treated. This is not a place to go for serious injuries or illnesses. They can treat most minor illnesses and injuries. This review is specifically for the Minute Clinic's covid 19 test site that is strictly an outside entrance underneath the pearl ridge mall parking lot directly right of Long's Drugs. There are two designated parking areas for covid 19 tests. There is no present body outside to make you aware you are in the right area. The only signs shows that you do not enter the store - longs drugs; for testing, and to go to designated parking areas for testing. Their cvs hotline does not give you a person specifically at the minute clinic location, and the longs drugs pharmacy only tells you that someone will eventually be there, they will call you, or that to remain in your car or to stand outside the door someone will eventually come out. Take extra care when reviewing the appointment you schedule at this location that it is indeed a covid 19 test, and not an antibody test, otherwise your instructions will state differently To scan a code at a kiosk, which is only available inside. Follow the instructions from your initial appointment submission via receiving an email and a text message. Upon arrival the nurses will send you a text message requesting for your confirmation number before your appointment. Also prior to going, you should receive a courtesy call prior to your appointment. For whatever reason I made a mistake in creating my first appointment, and waited a long time thinking someone would come out eventually, so definitely review your initial covid test schedule instructions. What a truly awful experience. The "provider" we scheduled an appointment with for my grandmother was extremely rude, unprofessional, and vengeful. She was angry that my grandmother was in a wheelchair because her office was small and at one point she used her foot to kick the wheelchair as she conducted an exam. She would not answer any questions I had and instead just repeated the same thing again and again, with increasing agitation and volume until she was yelling at me. I had no clue there was a place like this at Longs! My friend told me they do TB tests here and I went online to make an appointment! I also went to the minute clinic in Ewa Beach, the one by Foodland and they were very nice also. You just go to CVS.com and go to the minute clinic section to make an appointment--it's SUPER easy and SMARTER to do just in case the walk-in wait time is long. And when you get there, just check in at the kiosk in the back. My practitioner, Karen Berlin was very nice and although it's a tiny room, you feel comfortable and taken care of in there. I also got a Flu shot and it was $50 out-of-pocket with a $5 off coupon for next time. The shot is good until next summer. It's $35 to get the TB and $35 to have it read--free I believe if you have HMSA. When you get it read 48-72 hours later, you just schedule another appointment and go back to the same place. They also take care of other minor illnesses, I've attached a picture of what they help with. Should I ever feel sick, I know where to come back to! read more

Unfortunately didn't meet with anyone as they advised to cancel appointment. Girl on phone was super friendly just wish they tried before saying that the medicines I tried were the same thing they would give me since they are narcotic free, but Aren't there like a million medicines for cough? I have chronic cough but I assume they don't want to help because they're worried about Covid 19 even though any other patient could potentially have it. I don't really have a PCP (or I kind of do, but I never ever heard of him or seen him). Minute Clinic is a quick way to see a doctor without an appointment! It may take an hour or so, but what better way to kill time is window shopping in Longs or even Pearl Ridge?! If you're worried you're going to miss your spot in line? Don't worry they'll send you a text asking you to come back to the clinic when there's 30 minutes left in the queue. The Nurse Practitioner I saw was Caitlin Bray. She is super nice and friendly! It was really quick process because she does everything. I don't have to be seen by a nurse/ma to get my vitals check and then wait a good 10 minutes or more for the doctor to come to see me. As per usual, I found myself feeling close to death on a weekend and of course that meant getting in to see my doctor was a no go. Since I know better than to go to the ER for something that doesn't involve life or limb, I put on my best yoga pants and meandered my way over to the Minute Clinic located in Long's Drugs at Pearlridge. When I arrived, I checked in using the automated system and was advised that my wait time was approximately 18 minutes. The provider, Lindsey Farrar, NP popped her head out when her patient stepped out of the room to let me know she would be with me shortly, which I appreciated. After she was done with her patient, I was taken in about five minutes later. The provider (Lindsey Farrar, NP) was knowledgeable and had a good bedside manner. Although she is not my primary provider, she spent the time with me going over things to ensure that I understood what she had prescribed and the over the counter suggestions she had made to ease my symptoms, and made the visit a good experience. After my visit I was provided with a comprehensive print out of both the charges sent to my insurance carrier for the visit and aftercare instructions to take home with me. Should you find yourself in need of walk in care, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend coming here. read more

I really needed a prescription for my infection but my doctor's office is closed on Sundays so an employee from the Pearl City Longs suggested I go to the minute clinic here. Signing in is easy, you just fill out basic information on the sign-in screen. Also, there was practically no wait for me since no one else was before me. bad first impression. Came here as the reviews "looked" good. So I booked an appointment online. When I got there I could not be seen right away as there was a lady there at the kiosk for 10+ mins. After, they said they lost their confirmation number and so the NP saw them BEFORE me, when I was actually im front of them on the waiting list, just that I could not enter my confirmation code saying I was there. So they got seen now, while I am waiting posting this review. Keep in mind it only took me 2 minutes or less to enter my confirmation code and other information they wanted. I will not be back here again and even almost thought of walking out. Just will give the NP my thoughts of having people cut in front. read more

The next day, I arrived 20 minutes prior to my allotted time because the website m.face a point of saying that I'd lose my place in line if I didn't show up on time. I waited over an hour to be seen for TB test. That is unacceptable. Also, they took my insurance info, told me my insurance covers the test, a month later I receive a bill for this service for the full amount. I can't understand how this place has such a good rating. First off, for those using Google Maps, this in the mall's lower level, not the upper. Anyway, I signed in. The machine you use to sign in said it would be about a 40 minute wait, but I didn't get seen for an hour and a half. The 2 people immediately before me came together and went in together, so in effect they were 1 appointment. Despite this, when I went in, they wouldn't let my wife, who is a nurse and is familiar with my medical history, come in with me. So I went in and told them about the problem I was having. They quickly came up with a theory of what problem I was having, but in doing so, they completely ignored what I told them about my medical history. Even when I told them I had the same symptoms a few months earlier, they stuck to their theory, which I knew to be incorrect. They ran a test which told me nothing. They said they be able to tell me more in a few days though. In the end, after 2 hours there, I left, no better off than when I arrived. Going here was a complete waste of time. When I called to get further information, they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know and I had to wait in hold for 25 minutes. I will not be wasting my time by coming here again. read more

Unless it is a very minor health issue or illness, don't go here. Nurse practitioner works here and not MD. I went here and got a wrong diagnosis and ended up going to ER later twice. I just had a slight lump which the nurse said was nothing serious that swelled up and was in severe pain for 2 weeks. Go to Pali Momi ER across the street if serious illness or have doubt about their diagnosis... I got charged $129 for wrong diagnosis. What a waste of money... read more

Came here to pick up meds and get two shots! Now getting shots is not one of my favorite things to do but my doctor said at my advance age (lol) I needed to get a tetanus shot which I didn't realize you need one every ten years as well as a shingles shot. This place is usually busy but if you come close to closing time it's a little less crowded. Lance the pharmacist was fantastic! He explained that these two shot can be painful & since I was getting two he suggested that the more severe tetanus shot be administered on my non dominant arm & the shingles on the other arm. When he finally gave me the shots, both went pretty smoothly with less pain than I anticipated. The shingles shot comes in two stages so I get to come back within 2-6 months to get the second one! I'll be sure to see Lance again for another not so painful experience! read more

The staff members and treatment I definitely give five stars. But the set up of the area could be improved. Another kiosk would be helpful and more chairs for those patients waiting. Although the waiting time was not that long there definitely was a reduction in comfort for those patients waiting, not enough seating for future patients. At the time my family and I went, there was a lady before us who was not tech savvy and she took nearly 45 minutes for a form that would normally take 10-15 minutes. read more

Signing in is easy and the computer doesn't go on until the place opens. Anyway, after 30 minutes or so (able to shop at Longs or talk story with others), I was seen by Lahela. I was able to make an appointment the day of online. When I arrived I went towards the back of the store and there was a little desk to check in. Make sure you have your confirmation number on hand. The screen on the monitor was a little difficult to press but what it was prompting on the screen was very straightforward. After finishing registration I sat down for about maybe 10 minutes. I did arrive about 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I was seen by Vanessa Kreiger NP She was very nice and very through. She was able to answer all my questions I had in regards to my visit. I don't have a primary doctor on the island because I'm from out of the state so she printed me a list of providers that fall under my insurance that I could possibly see. If you're having minor issues nothing life threatening and time is not on your side I highly recommend the minute clinics. read more
