A doctor won't see you, so you'll see a nurse who will tell you only a doctor can order bloodwork and refer you back to your PCP three days later after giving you steroids and antibiotics, in which case the doctor three days later will NOT order bloodwork since you're already on steroids, wasting time and money. Then when you go to a normal PCP he will tell you, you should have gotten bloodwork from the beginning. Ridiculous. Don't go here.

My Assumption was correct. From the time I arrived it took me less than fifteen minutes to fill out paperwork, go through the standard H&P with the staff (who is probably just working after high school), get seen by the doctor and then get a prescription and pay my flat rate for an office visit. Key things to note: it took less than fifteen minutes before i walked out with a prescription, and it was CHEAP. Unusual flag-raising kind of things: 1) I didn't see any patient charts anywhere. None. No clutter ANYWHERE. 2) no computers anywhere. These things don't equate. 3) The high school girl in scrubs basically told me what my symptoms were. That's a little odd. 4) they don't bill insurance. They essentially have two fees, one for an office visit and another for a sports physical (which was less). 5) the walkout statement had seven "standard" procedures (in addition to the two office visit codes) pre-typed on the form for the doctor to use as a template. One of the codes was for Nail Removal. (Seriously??) 6) the walkout form had a place for ICD9 codes and not for ICD10. ICD9 codes have not been actively used in medicine for office visits in two years. But I did get my prescription in under fifteen minutes.

The warm greeting that I received from Aretha was very welcoming, and she was very attentive. Aretha got me checking in right away she ensured I understood the payment policy, I agreed and paid my copayment due for initial visit. Here is were things took a bit of a turn. My appointment was set for 2:48pm. I was called to the back an hour later and was finally seen at 4pm. Why advertise appointments just tell patients to walk in because you obviously do not have the bandwidth to keep up with the schedule. However when I arrived I can count on one hand how many others were in the waiting area and I think a few were waiting for their loved ones to be checked out. So to me not very busy at all. But as you will see in others reviews this location is very slow. Now the kicker!... I was triaged by Angelica! She was very dry, not personable and has no personality. It appeared she hated her job and took it out on the patient. When she swap me for Covid, Flu, RSV it felt like purposely forced the swap down my nostril farther than it needed to make me uncomfortable. She did the same when swabbing me for strep. When I gagged she gave a mischievous smirk like she accomplished her mission. She then showed me to my room. And said the doctor would see me shortly. Sara Worku was the PA that saw me. She was very pleasant and advised my test were negative but were treating me for upper respiratory infection. We went over a few things and sends Angelica back in to administer the steroid injection. Angelica comes in looks at me and just say " left hip". Biting my tongue I got off the patient bed and position myself so she could administer the injection. Professional nurses would warn you before the injection. Nope not this one, she wipes the area and feels like she just jams the needle in no warning. Still biting my tongue, I adjusted my clothing and got myself together. Angelica proceeds to just hand over my discharge papers and I look at her and ask is that it. She says "Yep! You can go! REALLY??!! That's where I had to rush out off there because I started to see RED I didn't want to embarrass her in front of her coworkers. Last thing!...Typically the person who triages you verifies your pharmacy details but in this case I was not asked so I was not able to request my prescriptions be sent to an alternative location. Unfortunately I could not pick up my meds today and have to wait until tomorrow morning after 11am since I had to put in a request for a transfer. I again the front desk associates were/are the joy of that urgent care operation. I did not get the other lady's name that accompanied Aretha but she too had a pleasant customer centric attitude. Aretha made my visit worth it. She deserves to be among others who possess her positive attitude and stellar customer service. Thank you Aretha and front desk team and thank you Sara for your wonderful bedside manners. Some people (Angelica) just do not belong in healthcare and I'm hearing she's has complaints from several others patients!! Listen to the reviews! If you want more insight you can also check out google review at your leisure. Better believe I've posted on that platform as well!! I truly dislike posting negatives reviews. My hopes are that they will be positive, but unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way. Funny thing is I've been to this location maybe once or twice prior and things were fine but it's been a long while. Not sure when the shift occurred. Please know, after today, I'll NEVER set foot at this location again! What an awful experience and I can imagine how the others were treated prior to me. Be careful who you mistreat!! You never know who you are servicing and the connections they have! WHAT A DAY!!! ** Apologies in advance for any grammar/spelling errors. I'm still not feeling my best but needed to post this review PROMPTLY!

Parking is just enough for the building. It can get tight, there are spaces surrounding two sides of the complex. Reception was friendly and efficient. She had a like when I arrived, but was able to assist and keep things moving for everyone. All areas including the lobby, restroom and back of house were well maintained and clean. The lobby was free of clutter and the chairs were all appropriately spaced apart. They do have a small children's area with small tables and an interactive TV, but no toys given the current Covid era. **To anyone needing a Covid-19 test...I recommend booking an online/virtual appointment first, completing it then booking your actual appointment. I went this route and got same day booking for a rapid test. If I would have just made an in person appointment without the virtual visit, it would have been two days before I was able to be seen.** Total wait time for virtual visit was 1 hour, on site was 25 mins and for results was 15 mins. So total wait time was 1 hour and 40 minutes from start to finish. Overall, this is a solid option for Urgent Care needs. I prefer to not be a frequent visitor, but in the event it's needed, I would certainly choose this location over a few others in the area.

When we showed up, they were expecting us, and they treated our child well. We were in and out within an hour (remember we booked online about two hours precious). Everything was friendly; the nurse actually got out kid several stickers. We felt cared for and welcomed. We've been here three times and been pleased every time with the care. Yes, there will be peak times when you will wait a while, but it's immediate care, not a hospital or a primary practice. Thus far, all diagnoses and prescribed medicines have worked out great. Grateful.

On Wednesday June 24 I started to feel ill, headaches, sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes,…read morethings like that. After running a fever for a few days I decided to visit Peachtree Immediate care on Monday June 29th. I was tested for Covid and Strep. Doctor said I had strep and tonsillitis and prescribed me amoxicillin and lidocaine 1ML, and sent me on my way. All was well and I felt a little better but the headaches, and sore throat persisted. After 8 days of taking the antibiotic I began to develop a rash all over my body. The rash was small red dots that were not raised. Me and my mother decided it was best to have a visit at my primary doctor, but I would not have been able to get an appointment for a number of days, so with the rash worsening we decided to go back to Peachtree Immediate care. We had an appointment at 12:50, we weren't seen by the doctor until 2:45ish. The doctor comes in and takes a look at me and goes, "yeah your tonsils look like they are healing, and your rash is definitely a rash. We will prescribe you an alternative antibiotic incase you need it but I don't think you do, come back if anything worsens." Unhappy with that experience and answer we left. I didn't take the antibiotic as instructed by the doctor. After a few days I took a look at my tonsils and they looked horrible, definetly not tonislls that were healing. At this point I had been under the weather for nearly 2.5 weeks. Doing my own research, strep and tonsillitis should have cleared up within 5-7 days. A few days after the poor visit at Peachtree Immediate care, we go to Piedmont Urgent care. At this visit I tell the doctor what has happened so far and her first thought is to get me a rapid Mono test. It comes back positive. Turns out all my symptoms pointed towards mono and they were unable to tell at Peachtree. The telltale sign was the rash and persistent symptoms despite amoxicillin and no allergy to amoxicillin. We also learn that the second antibiotic that the doctor at Peachtree prescribed me was pointless as it was for skin or bone infections and had nothing to do with my "infection." At Piedmont I was prescribed a steroid to help me feel better as I recover, as well as a normal amount of lidocaine (10-15ml instead of 1ml.) Overall, My first visit at Peachtree Immediate care was good and I appreciated the help. My second visit went poorly as the doctor kind of brushed off my symptoms (Of mono) as an allergy to the amoxicillin and "improving tonsils" (they were not improving). The added 2 hour wait time also made the visit worse, though I understand sometimes places get busy. Payment was easy as each time was just a $35 co-pay I seriously do recommend people to Piedmont urgent care instead, as from my experience the doctors there were much more knowledgeable and eager to help find out what was wrong with me and treat it. I hope my experince at Peachtree Immediate care was an isolated incident but from reading other reviews it appears it is not.

This clinic presents itself as a place of care and professionalism, but my experience showed…read moresomething very different. I witnessed behavior toward both patients and employees that felt discriminatory, racially biased, and deeply disrespectful. Patients suffering from kidney disease deserve compassion, dignity, equal treatment, and a safe environment regardless of race. Instead, there appeared to be favoritism toward white patients and employees while others were treated unfairly, spoken about negatively, judged, ignored, or made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No patient should ever feel racially profiled while receiving medical treatment. No employee should feel discriminated against or talked about because of their race. Healthcare is supposed to be built on trust, care, and humanity, and unfortunately that was not the environment reflected here. What disturbed me most is that these are people already dealing with serious health conditions and emotional stress. The last thing anyone fighting kidney disease should experience is mistreatment, unequal care, or feeling unsafe in a place that is supposed to help them heal. I hope leadership takes these concerns seriously, investigates the culture within this clinic, and makes real changes because discrimination has no place in healthcare.

Confused why it took so long as 1) The waiting room was not crowded and lot of empty patient rooms. And 2) They just gave three tests all at once that they said results would take 10 mins, did not come back until 4:30 and then gave me an additional test that was supposed to take 8mins. I think they just are extremely understaffed. Would have been more of a bearable wait of table for patient was not seated at such an awkward angle. Think I would have been okay with such a long wait time if I could have laid down flat with a pillow and napped while I waited. Hope they are able to hire more staff soon so wait time isn't as long.
