In addition, the other remedy she advised me to follow was in total contradiction with an underlying condition and ended up not only not relieving my pain but causing a dangerous condition. Most disappointing of all, I wrote a letter to this facility expressing my displeasure with their service and nearly 2 months later they still have not responded. Didn't stop them from cashing my check though. So you see where their priorities lie.

They billed for a comprehensive new patient visit. I guess they counted the 45 minutes we spent in the waiting room as part of his care? When I called to dispute the bill they quickly agreed to drop the CPT code down and re-bill to insurance. My advice: avoid the place or if you've already been there and get a bill, look it over!!

Barely touched the scope thing to the outside of my nostril (on both visits) and pronounced that I didn't have a sinus infection, all while green mucus was dripping down the back of my throat. She completely discounted my own PCP's findings from two days ago, despite the fact that I showed her a message from my doctor saying explicitly what the next course should be. The fact that my father died four days ago, there is a blizzard coming tomorrow, and I urgently needed a different antibiotic in order to clear this three week long infection before his funeral next week did not move her. The lack of competency and compassion was appalling. (I ended up calling the on-call at my doc's office and they called the prescription in immediately. I should have thought of that first and saved the aggravation.)

We left Canada several days later, still with the stitches. We stopped at AFC Danbury-Newtown Road on Sep 25 to have the stitches removed. We had to wait less than ten minutes. The clinic team were quick to assess that the wound was infected and needed more than just removal of stitches. They also said it was good that I came to them because another clinic might not have been able to provide the treatment the wound required. Dr Ali and his staff cleaned the wound, removed the stitches, cleared the infection (ouches), applied steri-strips and new bandage. The gave me and my wife instructions about cleaning and bandages, and another antibiotic prescription. The treatment and prescription costs were covered by my US insurance. The wound is healing well. I am lucky, and extremely grateful for this group of medical professionals.

Un-fucking-believable!!!!! And yes, I rechecked the number multiple times and I had it correct. And the 3 numbers after that on the list were ALL the SAME phone number and it was a SURGERY PLACE! Over the course of getting "care" there, I was under the care of no less than 5 PAs, APRNs and other "doctors" there. No comprehension of anything I needed help with. They have no idea of uncommon illnesses and how to treat them. If it wasn't that, it was indifference. They hire the CHEAPEST people, without regard for whether it's a reputable person or not. When you hire cheap, you get cheap. WORST people around. Additionally, theirs is a broken phone system, with multiple hangups anytime I need to speak to someone. It is SO bad, that I can drive there faster than they'd answer the phone - IF, at all. When it rings enough times, the system just hangs up on you after being on hold for a good many minutes. This is on a CONSTANT, not an occasional basis. By the time COVID hit and there was a shutdown by everyone, I was at my limit with these Neanderthals (one actually looked just like a cavewoman!) with the SOLE reason for me continuing to be a patient there, was because I needed weekly care. For 5+ years I was treated by the best chiropractor I've ever known, a Dr. Peter Szynkowicz there. HE was getting fewer and fewer hours each week, in favor of a cheaper and less competent chiropractor there by the name of Dr. Kim. Kim's solution to chiropractic was a huge massager. He made me WORSE. Obviously, Szynkowicz had decided not to return to this circus atmosphere so, there is zero reason to step foot in there EVER again. NOTE: I could NOT see him unless I used one of their incompetent PCPs. But please, do go there if you like crap care, a lack of ANY communication between people and can wait for eternity for a return phone call. I have called operations manager Carissa Catalano more than TEN times in the past month. I'm STILL waiting for her phone call. Believe it or not, this is just the tip of the 3 ring circus comedy of errors this place made. This included lost paperwork, the wrong medication, NO medication, waiting days on days to get anywhere. What's more insulting is that I received an invoice by email 20 minutes into the visit. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, was finally given a test. Was told they would call me with the results. Never received a call. Still don't know 2 months later how it turned out.

The facility was clean and properly maintained, assuming it was sanitized as well. Nurses were nice, but they're short with you; they do the job and are done. No conversation. I'm a nurse myself, but I'm a little more chatty with patients. I was in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before the doctor saw me. She was nice as well, but again, short as they were running late. Apparently, the computer system was down for a few hours. The procedure was done in less than an hour from anesthesia to recovery... I woke up and was discharged in 25 minutes.
