I came to this convenient care thinking that I would be seen by a physician. I don't really care…read morefor urgent cares, but I might have to rethink this next time. Very slow moving and you don't get a doctor you get a NP. I called my doctor before coming here and I had the opportunity to see the nurse practitioner at her office, but I opted to come here thinking it maybe quicker Service but my appointment time for the nurse practitioner came and went and I'm still waiting to be seen. Terrible.

I've been utilizing this medical office for YEARS. Main reason is that with the type of location…read morethey are, they charge insurance the same rate as a Dr office, but you can typically get in same day like an urgent care. That's important as last time I tried to get into my Dr office thinking I maybe had a sinus infection, they only appt they could get me was more than a week away... Some of the services are limited compared to an urgent care, but they are great for the basics: sprains, flu, sinus infections, strep, aches, etc. Currently you have to sign up for an appointment. This can be done online which is nice. This does change from time to time though, sometimes they do walk ins. I always call in advance to ask. Dr Tim Moore has been helping me here for more than 10 years. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I've also been helped from a female Dr in the last couple of years - I was also pleased with her service. So why the 4 instead of 5? Simple things... last time I called they told me you had to schedule an appt and could only schedule same day. NO mention at all that I could do it online and when you do you don't have to wait until the next day. Be proactive, if someone is already sick they aren't trying to guess and figure things out or wait and wait. Also the front desk can be confusing. One side is for an actual Dr office, the other side is for Convenient Care. This is not clearly labeled.

Once I found where to go, the lady that registered me was very kind and helpful (Shannon, thank you). After i got registered, I waited in the hallway for OVER an hour to complete my urine culture. When I got in the bathroom and opened the container to put my culture in, there were TWO other urine cultures in the container - UNLABELED! How are they supposed to know who's culture belongs to who - if they're not labeling the cultures prior to being completed AND not being on top of collecting the cultures after they're completed?! Very negligent of the staff here, and I hope I don't have to go to this location again for labs.

I don't need and you aren't qualified to give me lip about having questions for the doctor, thank you. But most of all, the doctors are also weird. For almost two years the pharmacy had to call my prescriptions in every month. Because... Doctor Keller just couldn't seem to fill them correctly. And I mean, didn't fill them, put an amount of pills it isn't manufactured in, prescribed them for the wrong month, every month it was some other issue that never should have been. She also ignored my protests at a mole removal and just took it off. Which, was going to get done, but while I'm sitting there saying "I don't want you to do it", you'd think a PHD would get the hint and stop leaning me back and saying it's fine we'll just do it now. I forget the male doctors name, as I haven't seen him, but he was so rude and condescending over the time that my father saw him that he didn't even go to the doctor for a while. My mother has used everyone else in the practice to try to find someone without such a bizarrely dismissive attitude, and she wasn't able. She went in for almost two years trying to find out what was wrong with her stomach, and was misdiagnosed or told she was imagining it by everyone in there. And billing? Always manages to be wildly expensive and out of network. It seems every trip manages to cost me $200 or more. And I have some of the sweetest insurance money can buy. Not sure what has caused this office culture, but there are plenty of doctors in ofallon. You don't need to deal with this one.

I had a big metal door at work slam shut on my shoulder, caused a lot of pain. Went to there not knowing they closed at 8, was 7:20. I felt bad because of the lateness but when this grinch came around the corner and started in with, "why are you here?," "we don't do worker's comp after 6", " I am going to make sure your work knows what time you got here" then the crazy part I had to see her for my injury. The bed side manner just escalated from there. Told what happened and was told the only reason my shoulder hurts is because I was slouching. Sure it was. there was a lot of other things that happened, and since this is being typed one armed, I can't go into that much detail. Then today I saw a peach of a dr. dr car, no clue if spelled right, but that is about as much care as he took with me. his entire premise is that, "well it is getting worse and not better and being slammed by a door is just a minor injury and therefore since we have no clue we will just release you." have to keep that money rolling in from the worker's comp company so who cares about what is really happening with the pateint.

My last visit I entered with complaints of stomach ache which was later diagnosed with acute appendicitis and needed surgery asap. I was sedated for the pain and was later moved to a room for surgery the next day. The surgery went well and as expected. I felt so much better. I was able to eat breakfast and ordered. It was nice and I also ordered lunch, a tuna salad sandwich, which I discovered a strand of hair, ugh, not good. I was later released and able to walk out on my own. I did have a small issue with a night nurse, she needed blood around 3am, cool, ok, no problem, however, she wanted to stick me and had the iv in place already, I asked her to please use that, she seemed to be annoyed and said " well, it may not work" I didn't understand why it would not, but thankfully it did, I hate needles!! The room was set up very nice and this was right after the pandemic, and only 2 people could visit for the day, which was a bummer, but still ok and they did seem to be bummed out they had to do this also. I would come back again for treatment.

I ended up in front of the ambulance and they weren't even driving the speed limit... They also took the longest route to get to the emergency entrance... We got there around 2:30pm and just waited and waited and he was feeling like he was going to black out. If it weren't for his mother advocating for someone to come get him an IV, I'm sure he would've just blacked out. 3:15p they took him for blood work and get an IV. He was back there for 8 minutes at 3:23pm. He wasn't shaken up but he was freezing. I asked someone at the front desk if they had socks for him and she was kind enough to get those. That's where the 1 star goes to which is sad because that is literally the bare minimum. 4:20pm a woman is walking around like a hostess asking all patients in the waiting area if they needed anything. She asked if she could get my husband another IV bag since it was now empty. We said yes. 5:07pm - I asked for an update on the wait and the sock lady left so it was someone new who had absolutely no bedside manner. When I walked up she saw me coming and turned to the other woman at the front desk and kept talking until I interjected. She said there's no queue and that we would just have to wait. That they opened up an overflow but people are just getting chairs not even a room. I was like okay...? 5:08pm the hostess woman came around and asked if we needed anything. It felt like Groundhog Day because she had no recollection of saying she would ask to get another IV bag for my husband. We said yes again especially after she said that it would help. Perhaps she was a patient with dementia that was previously a nurse and was wondering around the facility without anyone noticing because none of us were being taken care of anyway. 5:15pm with 10 people in the waiting room now and people who has just walked in were being seen before my husband. We checked MyChart and saw that the bloodwork was done and just looked up the results ourself with AI and google since that's what doctors do nowadays anyway. Nothing looked concerning but he will schedule a visit with his PCP. He was starting to feel like himself again because he was getting pissed about the wait. 5:50pm and someone who just walked in was taken back right away with the same name. I walked over to confirm if they were taking the right person and the nurse verified it was him and not my husband. It wasn't until my husband got up and said a nurse needs to come out and take out his IV because we were leaving for them to all of a sudden have a sense of urgency. Waited 8 min for someone to come out to take everything out for a whole 5 minutes. 5 minutes which would've been plenty of time to go over his bloodwork and then leave. This place is an absolute disaster. There was another patient who walked in and was told that this place has shorter wait times and after he heard how long we had been waiting him and his wife decided to leave as well. It was lucky neither were dying. If you care about your health or loved ones, opt for St Luke's in chesterfield. That place is actually filled with staff who are attentive, efficient, caring, and understand what hospitality truly means. Worth the drive since you'd be waiting in this place anyway...
