Even worse, what if I was late because of something serious? Car accident? Fired from my job? At the hospital with my dying mother? That's important as last time I tried to get into my Dr office thinking I maybe had a sinus infection, they only appt they could get me was more than a week away... Some of the services are limited compared to an urgent care, but they are great for the basics: sprains, flu, sinus infections, strep, aches, etc. Currently you have to sign up for an appointment. This can be done online which is nice. This does change from time to time though, sometimes they do walk ins. I always call in advance to ask. Dr Tim Moore has been helping me here for more than 10 years. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I've also been helped from a female Dr in the last couple of years - I was also pleased with her service. So why the 4 instead of 5? Simple things... last time I called they told me you had to schedule an appt and could only schedule same day. NO mention at all that I could do it online and when you do you don't have to wait until the next day. Be proactive, if someone is already sick they aren't trying to guess and figure things out or wait and wait. Also the front desk can be confusing. One side is for an actual Dr office, the other side is for Convenient Care. This is not clearly labeled.

However, when I presented the insurance card, it was clear my information had not been added. When I asked if it could be updated, I was told there was nothing she could do. She also appeared visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes when I asked her to verify address details. To be fair, the physician was kind, prompt, and provided good care. She is also the reason I gave three stars instead of one. However, first impressions and front desk interactions matter. If the goal is to create a more welcoming and patient-centered urgent care environment, I would strongly encourage attention to the front desk experience.

And I mean, didn't fill them, put an amount of pills it isn't manufactured in, prescribed them for the wrong month, every month it was some other issue that never should have been. She also ignored my protests at a mole removal and just took it off. Which, was going to get done, but while I'm sitting there saying "I don't want you to do it", you'd think a PHD would get the hint and stop leaning me back and saying it's fine we'll just do it now. I forget the male doctors name, as I haven't seen him, but he was so rude and condescending over the time that my father saw him that he didn't even go to the doctor for a while. My mother has used everyone else in the practice to try to find someone without such a bizarrely dismissive attitude, and she wasn't able. She went in for almost two years trying to find out what was wrong with her stomach, and was misdiagnosed or told she was imagining it by everyone in there. And billing? Always manages to be wildly expensive and out of network. It seems every trip manages to cost me $200 or more. And I have some of the sweetest insurance money can buy. Not sure what has caused this office culture, but there are plenty of doctors in ofallon. You don't need to deal with this one.

This is UNACCEPTABLE. He was transferred to another location because he was unable to be seen because no one decided it was a good idea to show up to work on time. The tech who was assigned to me did an incredible job at easing my anxiety and was a pro at getting an IV started (I never bruised nor did he have to stick me multiple times).
