She calls me for blood work results and responds quickly within the patient portal. She listens and seems to value the patient preferences. The patient portal is very user-friendly and intuitive. There are clear directions in the office and people are friendly if you get lost. The lab itself is also walk in after you get the doctors order. Quick and efficient. Get something from Wildflour or a slice of Antonio's after.

The facility is sort of bare bones, but the mammogram is digital so the tech can tell immediately of they had the imaging needed. Results get to my doctor in less than a week: my hard copy results generally take 2 weeks to get to me but they always are sent. I trust the quality of the techs, and the results reported.

I agree with other reviewers that the wait time was rough, and it would be helpful to know the approximate wait time when checking in. Once we were called back, however, the care was very good. We were seen by a PA who was clear and confident in diagnosing my son's injury, which required stitches behind his ear. She mentioned that she hadn't eaten all day because she had been so busy, which really highlighted just how much demand they were dealing with. She did a great job with the stitches and took the time needed to make sure we fully understood the discharge instructions. I felt that the quality of care was very good, and ultimately, that's what matters most. I'm giving 4 stars because the care itself was excellent, but the facility clearly needs more physicians and staff to better meet the demand and reduce the lengthy wait times.

No medical asst that generally is there to take vital signs prior to seeing the Doctor or PA (…read morephysician's asst.) who is certainly qualified to see patients in this setting. The radiologist technician took my vitals ( just a little unusual that he'd do the vitals) Usually a medical Asst is there. However, he was very nice & welcoming ( Dillon) I went in for cough, fever, general fatigue. Chest xray done and the PA ( physician asst) by the name of C. Pickering informed me my chest x-ray was normal. He prescribed an inhaler and 2 ( two!) antibiotics. ( Amoxicillin & Doxycycline) If the chest x-ray was " normal " why would I need 2 antibiotics let alone one? Well, I wouldn't!! Only bacterial infections require an antibiotic and since he said my x-ray was normal I'd assume this was viral therefore not needing antibiotics. Well, I get to CVS and the PA calls me and tells me that I actually have pneumonia in my left lung. I'm not happy at this point for such confusion telling me my xray is normal and now it's not! I'm 72 yrs old and having pneumonia at my age is a serious health concern because aging weakens the immune system and lung function, increasing risks for complications like respiratory failure, sepsis, and even death, with mortality rates "significantly higher" in older adults. I'm a retired RN so this is why i'm knowledgeable. So here I am with an inhaler ( that's fine) but two antibiotics! So which one do I take? I opted for the stronger one and if I'm not better I'll return to see my primary care Doctor. ( His office was closed today hence urgent care) Please opt for another urgent care if you need one or call and see who's on duty. If it's C. Pickering then pass and go elsewhere please.
