The nurse practitioner Kelly Meier. She's really great with my kids. Fast and efficient. Better than the minute clinic we went to before.

Never ever go to any of the minute clinics.....surgery doesn't even take as long as these places. Waited for over an hour.

Filled out paperwork online. Then texted when time to arrive. Location is pretty convenient right off service road or from Bass Pro parking area. Wait time was not bad as did most of it at home on line but then arrived and still waited a while which is a bit frustrating but no big deal. Same with paperwork, had to fill out two brief forms upon arrival. No big deal just always frustrating to me that I have to fill out online and then paper too if the exact same forms. First world problems for sure so just glaze over this as it is more of a me problem than the clinic! Ha Parking was ample, wait room was nice and spacious and empty. Also full mask requirements as of this post so good safety and no complaints from me when in a healthcare facility! Service provided was standard and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Satisfied with the help and care and appreciate the folks there.

We arrived early, and there were few cars in the lot so I was hopeful they'd be on time. By 12:20 I noticed there were still 2 people ahead of me. I didn't have a good feeling about the place, plus thought I was feeling better so I texted a cancelation because there was nobody at the desk. When someone appeared I went up and repeated that I wanted to cancel. The attendant tried to convince me to schedule at another of their clinics with a shorter wait time. I refused, and received a text confirming cancelation. By the time I left there were many more people waiting to be seen. About an hour later I received an email confirming an appointment I never made, for 5:45 pm. I canceled, of course. Definitely not what I expected. This location is easy to find and had adequate parking and a large waiting area. If the waiting room got full I wouldn't want to be near anyone with a communicable illness, as the chairs are packed rather tightly together.

I recently visited Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care seeking help for significant neck pain…read more(Cervical Dystonia). Before my visit, I carefully reviewed the clinic's website, which stated that the facility could assist with neck pain. Based on that information, I expected evaluation and treatment options beyond over-the-counter medication. During the intake process and throughout my visit, I clearly communicated that over-the-counter medications were not providing relief. Despite this, the care I received was limited to a recommendation for Tylenol. I was left feeling that the services available did not match the expectations set by the clinic's online information regarding treatment for neck pain. It is disappointing when patients in genuine pain are directed by an urgent care clinic to "go to an Emergency Room, even though I'm standing in what I thought was one....particularly when the apparent KNOWN limitations are not clearly communicated upfront. I share this feedback as a recent patient who had a negative experience so that the practice can hopefully better align its advertised services with the actual care provided. I hope this input is received constructively. Honest patient feedback is protected under consumer protection laws, and I trust there will be no form of retaliation for sharing my experience.

Usually it's a walk in however on my last visit they allowed me to schedule an appointment online. Major points for that! Keep in mind, while they allow for appointments to be scheduled it does not mean you will be seen at that time. It just helps you get back sooner. If they have patients ahead of you or something urgent comes up then you will have to wait. My appointment was at 5pm and I actually went back into a room at 5:07pm. The provider working urgent care was family nurse practitioner Dampier. She was down to earth and very pleasant. I really liked her! The check in process was smooth and the clerk up front was very nice. It was icing on the cake that they now have X-ray services in the building. I was able to speak with the provider, get an X-ray and go home all in one visit! I didn't have to wait until another day or go to another location. Sweet! Definitely had a pleasant visit and one of the reasons why I continue to keep coming back for care.

My PCP not only listens, but makes sure I know I am being heard, & whatever brought me into her realm of expertise that day will be addressed, within the 'best of practice' guidelines. And if there's a medical need with which my Doc may be less familiar, she makes 'no bones' about researching a best answer &/or most likely 'course of action' to resolve presenting issues as soon as my body will respond to suggested treatment. She is a very clinically-oriented, patient-focused 'resident', unencumbered by being hard-prsessed to see, evaluate & treat as many patients as possible... like so many other MD offices, where the Docs work their asses off, seeing way too many patients per hour to actually do 'best practice' medicine, forfeiting the value of communication found within longer doctor-patient interactions, in favor of shortened appointments to increase greater profit margins. I am THANKFUL my PCP hasn't been pressured into that mold as yet and, hence, can practice medicine without the impending 'burnout', so many other docs experience on behalf of a 'for profit' corporate structure. BSW: "Patients are seen by appointment, and we offer pediatric extended and weekend hours for unplanned injuries and illnesses. Walk-in/urgent care hours are for sick care only. Relatively painless, 'first stick' did the trick... and I have hard-to-stick, 'rolley veins' ;) Parking and access to services are easy. He just said fill out the clipboard. I went to park the car while this happened. When I enter I noticed my wife already seated. I asked if she checked in. She stated the guys said fill out the paper and have a seat. I noticed that the clipboard with my wife's info on it, was sitting on the counter in front of the man behind the glass. It sat there for 10 mins!!! I went up and acted like I was looking at the paper and he snatched it away. Fast-forward an hour and 10 mins. Everyone in front of us went. Then a young female came in smiling and laughing obviously not an emergency and she was called back. She'd only been there 10 mins. I thought maybe she said something different on her clipboard even though she was laughing and looked fine. The clip board only asked how much pain you were in. Then another female came in. She was called back after 10 mins. Again, my wife was curled over in severe pain!! After that, we left and went to Scott And White RR. They were packed. The person at the desk asked about symptoms and a few more questions. They brought my wife back immediately for observation to make sure there wasn't anything severe. Wow! On March 29th when I showed up for the appointment, they told me Dr. Ganan Popa is not there, and I should see the new doctor. Dr. Kristen Hendrix. This was really disappointing!!! For the next visit in November 2022, I visited the center. Nurse told us the doctor will be with you shortly. I waited in the room with my two kids for an hour. At 4:20, I went out of the room and saw the nurse sitting in a room on her computer and the doctor also doing some paperwork on her computer in another room. I asked them why you are letting me sit for an hour while you are not with a patient. The doctor was very aggressive and told me I had to wait. I asked to talk with the manager, and they told me she was not there, and she will call you. I received a call from the manager the next day and instead of being apologetic she said based on your behavior, we cannot serve your son and you should find another doctor. This is the first time I am facing this kind of medical center service with such an unbelievable attitude.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and professional. You can tell they really care about making the patient experience as easy and comfortable as possible. One thing I really liked was being able to check in right from my phone. The lobby was clean, organized, and everyone was spaced out appropriately. By the time they put my wristband on, I was already being called to the back talk about FAST! Once I got into the room, everything moved so smoothly. One person was asking me questions and taking my vitals while another was already getting my lab work done. There wasn't a lot of sitting around waiting. Then the doctor came in and examined me. He was super nice, professional, and actually took the time to check me out and explain things. He told me it would be about 10 minutes for my results, literally turned around, and came right back in with my diagnosis. I was like, "Well that was quick!" And I have to mention the little things that stood out to me. When I was leaving, they offered me a drink and a snack, and they even helped me sign up for their care program.
