The place he was supposed to go to called at 9am this morning to tell me even though he'd been seen 2 weeks ago without a referral. I called Gentle Pediatrics and they were sympathetic, understanding and very accommodating. First, the new office is beautifully! The fish tank is beautiful. I wanted to be a patient there but in too old!! Second, staff is amazing! I couldn't thank them enough!! Third, Dr. Hasnain made my 16 year old son smile, which has been impossible to do lately. And Dr. Hasnain helped me feel better about my shortcomings as a parent by telling me I'm a good mom. Why was that so important? In the last 2 months we have gone through a lot as a blended family and I've often felt like a failure as a parent. It is rare to find someone who is still passionate about their job after 32 years. Dr. Hasnain is so full of joy it's infectious. I left the office feeling as though everything would be ok. Thank you so much for your help and understanding during this time. I was so stressed out but all of you made my life so much better.

Everyone here was super friendly, professional, Dr. was great and respectful. Very personable for my 2 overwhelming kids that was present. My sole complaint was with the xray tech that was there. She had no clue how to take X-rays, her equipment and the xray terminology. My husband and I happen to be in the radiology field ourselves. My husband went in with my child for her X-rays. First she used a grid for a pedi hand xray (this increases xray dose). Then when my husband told her to collimate (which common xray terminology to close the shutters down to the hand and not have empty space) she was clueless. Again collimating reduces xray dose and improves image quality. Then she proceeded to say they don't work. My husband didn't want to overstep and press the button himself. Then he had to show her how to post process the images because they came out dark. With all that being done, I think we should be getting paid for the X-rays taken that day. We take pride in being radiologic technologists and we will now have to use another urgent care if we need imaging done.

This makes sense but didn't seem like a professional or courteous way to share this information. Since I lived 5 mins away, I decided to take my chances. My husband carries my son in. Two people were sitting in the front, laughing and chatting. They did not seem concerned or a place where they take care of "urgent" matters. I gave my insurance and they told me to complete the 10 page questionnaire online. It took some time for me to load it, after connecting to internet, when I got to the last page, an error page loaded. I felt hopeless with my kid crying. My husband tried again from his phone and thankfully was successful. We were seen after 25 min. Which isn't too bad but I felt frustrated considering the login issues and hearing the front desk folks laughing while my baby was in pain. My son got seen but I can't comment on the care received since they didn't allow both parents in the urgent care room. I know that memorial Herman urgent care allows both parents and seem to show more urgent like caring behaviors.

We live in Sugar Land, Texas and during hurricane Beryl my family was concerned that I was "off."…read more They contacted our PCP and told him my symptoms (fell, forgetting things, & not making sane decisions. I was taken to Methodist ER where they did an MRI on my head. Unfortunately the MRI revealed I had a brain tumor that needed to be removed asap. The entire city was without power but Methodist has generators and was able to provide excellent care & customer service through the entire hurricane. My surgery was postponed several times because they needed 100 percent power before they could safely remove my tumor. The nurses in the ICU are excellent. One sang to me every night, one joked that my pain meds were margaritas, and after I had been in the hospital almost a week and still had not gone BM , the next nurse climbed on top Of my bed, hugged me, and said not to be scared. She reminded me after having a child nothing that came out of my body was too painful or too embarrassing. She promised to stay with me & help me when I was ready. The anesthesiologist was excellent as well. Although going to the hospital is never fun, my experience was very positive. Dr. Lau is excellent and made me feel heard. I really hated the hospital robes and life was torture til I got my comfy 32 degree pajamas & my pillow. The robes have metal snaps & can't be worn while doing an MRI. They also tiir two tones together. One on the front & one on the back. I think I gave everyone on my floor a peep show. So embarrassing. If you're visiting someone in this hospital I highly recommend bringing them some comfy pajamas, underwear, & fleece blanket. It gets cold at night & the blanket is a game changer. Being in the hospital during Beryl was actually a good thing. We never lost power & they had food. I was on a low carb diet so trying to find something i could eat that had flavor was a challenge. Maybe bring some mio or crystal light too! The location is wonderful because there are lots of restaurants in town center. Overall I give them 5 stars with the exception of the hospital robes & exceptional nurses!
